Wore this to a Formal late summer wedding in Malibu and it was perfect! the material is high quality, and the sheets bottom makes it breezy and slight more fun will still looking elegant and classy! Only size 12 was available, a size 10 would have fit perfectly but the 12 gave me a little extra room to eat cake and dance so it worked out great! Bust is small. Also note my skinny sandal heels almost got caught in the lace a few times when sitting and standing.

I rented this dress for a black tie wedding I went to New Year's Eve. I was looking for something that was flattering and fit well, but was also comfortable enough for me to dance and drink in for eight hours. I also wanted something that hit the sweet spot between tastefully sexy and inappropriate, since I was meeting my boyfriend's extended family at the wedding. This dress was perfect. It actually flattered my skinny frame (formal gowns tend to swallow me whole), and when paired with small heels the hem hit just off the ground. It was sexy, but not so sexy that I felt self-conscious talking to my bf's grandmother. I received lots of compliments on it from people I knew, but the dress also flew under the radar enough that I didn't have randos coming up to tell me it looked great. Perfect for an event where I wanted to look great but not over-the-top.

I wore this to a fall wedding in Denver and while it was pretty and I received a few compliments, I couldn't wait to take it off at the end of the night. Maybe I just have a larger rib cage but I felt restricted when I took a deep breath. It also has NO stretch whatsoever, so there is no room for error in sizing. I would recommend sizing up for your backup. The quality of this dress is great, it is well made and the detailing of the flowers is beautiful. I would not rent again though because I was uncomfortable, but my friends wedding pics look great so it wasn't a total fail. I am super flat chested so I'm not sure how this would work with a large chest. I'm 5'11 and the 4Long hit the floor with about a half inch, so I just wore flat sandals. It is not quite as sheer on the bottom as it is in the picture, making it a little more formal than I was expecting.

Originally sized up from my regular 8 to a 10. The 10 fit but was super tight and couldn’t wear a bra. Since I had some extra time, I ordered the 12 and that worked perfectly! Loved loved loved this dress and seriously everyone was raving about dress this the entire event.

Dress was perfect for a fancier wedding. Could easily dress it up or down. As everyone mentioned, the sheer is not as visible in person but still looked great. Also straps were a bit loose and not adjustable. It was a bit tight in the mid section/tummy area, which is why I said it ran small. Definitely a more form fitting dress but it is thicker material which is nice. Overall, great dress, next time I would've sized up.

This dress was comfortable and fun to wear! I felt great it in and got a lot of compliments. The sheerness of the bottom is more subtle than the photos, and the fabric is pretty thick. My only issue was that the straps were a little long, and I was pulling the dress up all night. I’m about 5’7, and I think the length was just right (I’m wearing short heels in the pics).

I was a bit deceived by the stock photo, as I wasn't sure if the see-through part of the dress would be cute or not, but it didn't seem see-through at all! This was appropriate for a summer wedding with both indoor and outdoor activities. If you're considering this dress, I'd recommend it!

This dress was so amazing and perfect for my sorority formal. I am always looking for something unique, and this dress, although seemingly simple, made me stand out! It definitely runs small (I ordered a 4L and 6L for my backup after reading the reviews and ending up wearing the 6L) and if you are tall, I highly recommend getting one of the long sizes. It was a little tight in the chest and not as see through as it looks on the model, but I was still SO happy with it. This was my first rental in a while and I loved it! Highly recommend!

Runs really small, but I was able to squeeze into it. I think I may have been sent a petite size because it seems to be super long on all the others.

I wore this gown for an end of Summer wedding. I wanted a dress with flowers but didn't want to really wear color, so this was perfect. I was worried about the length since I wouldn't be able to hem the dress, but I was fine in 4.5 inch heels. I also was not able to wear a bra with the dress but it was a non-issue since it was tight enough in the bust.

I had originally ordered the 10R with a 12R as backup, and when they didn't have the 10R available, the 12 fit well. The only problem was the length, so I overnighted the 12L, which was the perfect length; the only problem was that those straps fell down the whole time I was dancing.

Loved this dress for a late summer wedding (outdoor ceremony, indoor reception). Length and color made it formal enough, while dots and design made it not too serious. If you're on the taller side, definitely rent the Longer size; this was just long enough with formal flats for my 6' frame. Some other reviewers noted it was too warm, but I did not find that to be the case. Did wish it had a little more give for comfort, though.

I got this as an option to wear to a wedding. The zipper was coming out of the dress fabric, so I decided not to wear it. The dress was a bit tight, no stretch, no space or need for a bra. I would reorder it for a gala or wedding. Remember to size up.

I felt so self conscious all night! The attached slip was SUPER short!! I felt very thankful for the dark lighting, but unfortunately pictures were taken and only made the short slip even more noticeable. It sounds like others felt like the dress wasn't very sheer at the bottom- I disagree. I would not rent this again!

This is a great dress- I typically wear 6/8 in regular attire but bump up sizing to a 10-12 for designer dresses. If you are larger chested go up a size. I'm 5'3" and it fell right to the ground- so not great for taller ladies!

I wore this to a black tie wedding and received several compliments. The dress was perfectly snug in the bust so no bra was needed. I'm 5' 3" and the length was a tad longer than I would have liked I tried to wear my highest shoes so I wouldn't let the bottom run on the floor. The zipper is VERY difficult and required two people to zip up, but once it's up it held wonderfully. I would definitely rent it again even with the difficult zipper. Such a stunning and comfortable dress.

This is my favorite rent so far. Dress is made of structured prime lace fabric and it has a slip on inside. Even thou fabric is to the thick side, it is surprisingly light and breezy - shoulder straps are just as comfortable, not heavyweight. Worn size 2R. I'm 5'8 and it fit perfectly. I'm pretty small on top with wide hip. This dresses hugged me and made me feel like Beyonce inside and out. Worn for a night date with leather jacket and to a wedding with heels. Lots of compliments, date definitely enjoyed too! Extremely versatile and makes for a good RTR option. --maybe too lit for office wear, however yes queen lol

This was my first time using rent the runway and I was very happy with this dress. I usually wear a 6, sometimes a 4, and the 6 fit like a glove. As others have noted, the bottom section is not as sheer as the website photos make it out to be. I also found it to be rather scratchy, because of the lack of liner. Otherwise, this dress was classic and unique at the same time, and I didn’t have to think about it once during the evening as I usually do with fussier dresses.

I love this dress! I usually wear a 4R with RTR, but glad I sized up to a 6 with this one- there isn't any stretch through the hips. I wish the straps were a bit shorter, but they didn't give me much trouble. The bottom of the dress isn't as sheer as it seems, which I thought made it look even more formal. The only negative was that someone else at the wedding was wearing the same dress!

This dress was a show stopper. It fit true to size throughout my torso/hips. I have 34Gs so the dress was snug in my chest but it became more and more comfortable as the night went on. I loved this dress and I got so many compliments on it all throughout the evening. Definitely would recommend!

This dress was gorgeous and perfect for my brother's wedding. I have a longer torso and shorter legs, but was able to wear the 8R length with higher heels and it was fine. The floral detail was great, but this dress fits snug and has no stretch. I didn't wear a bra and there was enough support for my smaller chest. I'm not sure it would work for someone bustier.

I LOVED how this dress fit and looked in person. The sheer bottom is beautiful IRL and overall, very flattering on. I would say that in the heat of NYC summer and being a tad too small, it was a bit suffocating to sit down in.

I am always between 10-12 in dresses. 10 was wearable but it was a little tight so I went with the 12 but had to wear a bra to make it work. Make sure you get two sizes, I had to play around to find the best fit. I had some red pop- shoes, earrings, nails, lipstick that I received lots of compliments on. Great comfortable dress for a wedding, semi formal event. You won't be disappointed!

This dress is unreal. It looks fairly basic from the photo but it is by far my favorite dress I have ever rented!! It was so slimming and classy. I received compliments all night long. Would have bought but I dont like to wear the same thing twice!

The overlay is not as shear as it appears in photo especially with black hose. I am 5'4" / 32B / 98 lbs and the dress was perfectly fitted to my frame. The dress was a tad long so I purchased higher heels than I usually wear to accommodate the dress.

The mesh isn't as transparent as it looks in the picture and the fabric is much more interesting - it's embroidered, not polka dotted. I loved this dress - fabric felt very quality and it was very flattering/forgiving.

I ordered this option as my back up and was pleasantly surprised it fit better than my 1st choice! I had it shipped to their Chicago store which made it easy to pick up and return... the neckline was very flattering and comfy! I ordered a 10L (I'm about 6ft tall)... I wish I would've been just a little longer cuz with 2.5 inch heels, the hemline was off the ground quite a bit, but I still loved it! I wish I could wear this again and again!
