I rented this dress for a summertime, black tie-optional wedding in Princeton, NJ. I don't usually like to go super traditional for these types of events, so I felt the color and style of this dress kept me on trend, but appropriate at the same time! I'm 5'4, 128 lbs, and usually between a 2 and 4, but in this case, the 4 was too big. The 2 was a little snug in the waist when clasped at the top of the zipper, so I wore it un-clasped, and no one could tell the difference. I also worried about it being too short, based on other reviews, but I found the length to be perfect with 3.5 inch heels on. Definitely recommend!

Rented this for a black tie optional weather in the Texas summer and it was perfect! It was way more fun than a traditional dark gown and I got a ton of compliments all night. I am short and wore the regular length which was perfect. I went for comfort and wore flats and when standing you could not see my shoes. Highly recommend renting this gown!

I normally wear a size four, but for this dress I would recommend going down a size, especially if you are smaller chested. The 2 fit perfectly, just the right length for a heel. It is also darker in person, closer to a magnolia shade, but I think even more gorgeous than the picture. The pockets were also super helpful, and overall it is a great dress- sure to get lots of compliments.

I LOVE this dress! It was a bright pink. It was sexy, but so classy at the same time. It is perfect for shorter people as the bottom just skimmed the ground. I was worried about the straps being too loose and not holding my chest up, but it was completely fine. I got so many compliments and felt so comfortable all night. It fit true to size and stood out. I was also worried about the side boob, but the it was subtle and completely fine!

I wore 6R for the annual black-tie gala I plan. It was perfect! The pockets were helpful to have, the length was just right (I wore flats and the dress was about an inch from the ground making it easier to hustle around) and the color stood out but not obnoxiously. The only issue I can across (it wasn't a huge deal) was the straps were a little loose when I bent over. I did not wear a bra so when I bent down the straps slid off a little bit. Luckily there was not Janet Jackson moment. Overall this dress is wonderful, comfortable and I definitely recommend it!

I originally ordered both a 6r and a 4r....I received an email the night before my dresses were to ship telling me that the 6 wasn't available and had a mini-panic attack. RTR was fantastic and sent me 3 other dresses (for no additional charge) and it turned out the 4 fit perfectly!! I didn't even try the others on!! It was a little large over the chest, but not noticeable. I did stick in some gel pads to "enhance" and fill out the top....this didn't even require wearing a bra! The dress is lined and on the heavier side, so perfect for this spring wedding. And the color in the pictures just don't so it justice like when you see it in person. I have even had a ton of people asking where I got this. Great dress to dress up or down! So sad to have to send it back!

The dress is more purple than pink as it may appear on the website. It has pockets which I love and is flattering on all body types. I would highly recommend!

The color was a bit more purple-y than in the picture, but it was a perfect compliment for me. The length was just an inch off the ground and I was wearing 4 inch wedges. The v-cut was perfect - not too revealing but still sexy and classy. The pockets were a great plus, and the material was sturdy yet comfortable enough to wear during a springtime event inside. The only downside was that the straps were a bit loose for me so I had to hold my shoulders up to prevent an accidental flashing. Overall beautiful dress!

Perfect length for me, but this could be short on people of average height. Otherwise fits true to size. Order long if you are taller than 5'3" or want to wear heels

the pockets were perfect, the deep V was perfect, the fabric had a good weight to it... there is nothing negative I can say about this dress! I'm 5'2" and the length was perfect-- taller women probably want to opt for the Long. So pretty in pink, & my beau loved it too!!

The dress was a gorgeous color. I wear a size 29/30 in jeans and in dresses am either a 10/12. This dress was snug in my ribs in the 10. It fit great overall my broad shoulders and ribs forced me to wear the 12. Overall the dress was great! Let me say this again the color is great- I paired it with a nude shoe and gold Kate spade jewelry.

I didn't get to wear the dress, it was late due to weather delays. Thankfully, I purchased a backup dress a week prior in case it didn't work. The color is so rich. I have a small bust, but I felt like the dress made my chest look great. I would have gone without sticky boobs Bc it fit so nice without anything. The fabric is thick and is lined. Might not be ideal for an outdoor summer event. I'm 5'2. I only needed three inch heels, so it wasn't super long. I was worried the straps would be too long, but the were good unless i hunched down when I was sitting. The only down I would say is that it was baggy in the back, didn't show off my bum very well :) The front and back v's are so pretty it was okay though. I would order again and hopefully get it on time so I could wear it.

The fit was perfect, I wore a low cut adhesive bra from Victoria's Secret and it was great. I am 5'2 and I wore 3" heels and the length was great, just the front of my shoes showed. It was super comfortable and easy to have a ton of fun in. I would rent a gown again in a heartbeat.

This dress was absolutely perfect. It wears far better than it shows on the stock photo on RTR's website. The wedding I attended was black tie in November, so the fact that the fabric is slightly thicker was perfect. It gave the dress more structure and was helpful since the deep V in the back and front make it hard to wear a bra (I didn't wear one and was just fine without it as a 34B), The pockets were stylish and perfect for hiding bobby pins and lip gloss. I wish I could've kept it and would absolutely recommend it or rent it again. My favorite rental from RTR to date by far.

I wore this dress to a formal wedding and paired it with the Kate Spade 'Mr. & Mrs.' clutch. It was extremely comfortable and the color was identical to the model's picture. I'm usually between a 4 and a 6 and went with a 4R so my shoes could peak out. Even though this dress looks very simple, it's just the right amount of sexy with the deep V slits on the sides and in the back. I would DEFINITELY wear this dress again!

Pretty color nice heavy fabric. Tight on rib cage as pictured and not as long as expected. But otherwise great dress. Loved the pockets.

Received many compliments on the dress/color. Material is heavy, yet very comfortable. Can't wear a bra with this dress. The chest area is roomy which is not so great for small chested women like myself, but my girls were secure.

The back was a little tight where it clasped but other than that it was true to size.

I rented this as a backup dress and I was equally impressed with how gorgeous they were. I didn't end up wearing this one because the chest area was a little too big and I didn't have any tape or stick on bras. Overall it was beautiful and the length was prefect, stopped right above the floor!

I loved this dress, however, if you have a short torso it's a bit difficult. I ended up having to use pins to fold the top straps over. If I had a large chest, I might have been able to get away without. Its also a heavier fabric, so not good for outdoor summer events I'd guess. Loved the color! It was more purple than pink, but bold and a stand out. Loved that it had pockets as well! I would consider renting this dress again, but likely I'd want to buy it so I could make permanent alterations to the top. Length was great though for someone shorter!

For this dress you'll need fashion tape to keep everything attached to your body, as well as some sort of padding to put in this dress. It was the perfect length with heels. The material is pretty heavy and can get warm, however the deep Vs keep that from really becoming a problem.

I really loved this dress and was bummed to have to return it. The color was amazing and was a crowd standout. I received so many compliments! The pockets were a nice addition to the dress. The empire waist helped conceal a less than perfect tummy and allowed me to eat with abandon. I will say that the fit around the rib cage was a little tight. I wore the size 4, but the 6 felt much more comfortable in this area. Sadly the bust didn't fit correctly in the 6 which necessitated needing to wear the 4. Overall, a truly wonderful RTR experience.

I had a great time wearing this dress! The color is fantastic, and true to what is shown on the website. It's very comfortable to be in, and since my event was in the dead of winter, I thought the fabric was also a nice weight. And have I mentioned THE POCKETS??? So, so great. The bust area I could see being tricky to fit some people like me, who are smaller on their top half than on their bottom half. I would have preferred a slightly smaller bust area to feel 100% comfortable with the deep Vs on the sides, but I used some tape and everything felt very secure.

Pro: True to size. I wear a 10 normally and tried on a size 8 at the store. It zipped fine but was a little snug which is why I ended up with a 10 and it fit perfectly. Pro: the color and cut are amazing for an outdoor event. The fit is very flattering for curvier bodies. Con: The fabric is 100% polyester which would not be expected for a designer dress. It's a thicker fabric and its extremely HOT and DOESNT BREATH!! I was at a wedding in Tulum in December and the weather was a cool 70 deg but I was still so hot and a but uncomfortable because of it. Con: beware of side boob. I wore a Nubra which pulled them in a little bit if you're going bra less and are larger than a B then you'll probably have a little side boob going on. Overall beautiful, comfortable and flattering dress.

The straps weren't as tight as I would have liked, they didn't really hold by boobs up or in place. I wouldn't recommend it for anything work related or with stuffy family because there is a lot of side boob. While it definitely covered up my belly and hips, it wasn't as flattering as I had hoped. I wore 2 inch heels and the dress fell right around my ankles. The most annoying thing was the little things sewn into the shoulders for hanging were sewn on sideways so they couldn't be hidden down the front or back of the straps and kept popping out all night. I ordered a 4 and an 8 because there weren't any 6's available and was surprised by how little difference there was between the 2 sizes.

Loved this dress - didn't actually wear it to my event because I rented another dress that I preferred but I loved this dress too. I also loved that it's the perfect length I wouldn't have had to wear heals. Considering buying it to keep for future events I liked it so much!

Great dress- best part was that I'm 5 feet tall and with (3 in) heels, the 2R was not too long! The straps were a little long but overall it was great. This was a really fun color - I wore it for an October black tie optional wedding but this could work summer or spring too! The bust was a little tight - I'm about a 34A, but I think the 4 may have been a little too big so this worked! Got a lot of compliments - would recommend!

I rented a size 6R and 8R for a wedding. Both fit but the 8 had more coverage on my chest. I didn't want to return the dress! It was comfortable and I got so many compliments.

My rental ended up not being available, and RTR overnighted this and a different dress out to me. This was the perfect dress for a summer wedding. The pockets were so convenient, the dress was stunning, and while I was definitely warm and sweaty in the summer heat it didn't show AT ALL in this dress. I love love loved it and will definitely rent again. Comfortable AND beautiful.

Wore this for an August wedding. Ran a bit small but was so comfortable and flattering. I could dance all night in it. Also, #pockets

I found this true to size. I am 5"2 115 32 B. A little loose in the chest, but not terrible. Length was perfect with heels. Really pretty dress and I loved the pockets.

I loved this dress!!! I've been looking at it for so long and knew I had to get it for formal. Compliments all night on the color and fit! Very comfortable. Pockets were a huge plus. :)
