Wore this to an afternoon wedding at a cathedral. The bottom pleats and "flowiness" of the dress make it elegant, comfortable and allow you to dress it up or down (I accessorized with very simple gold accents). It fits true to size, a little snug in the chest area depending on how top heavy you are, and the bottom did a great job hiding my "mom pouch". I find with EVERY RTR dress I've had...the zipper is very stiff and requires two people and a few seconds of holding your breath, I think because they are plastic and maybe the dry cleaning stiffens them. Would definitely recommend this one!

True to size, I was comfortable in it for hours!

A gown that is simply made for comfort! This is a super versatile dress; I’d dress it up or keep it casual. It runs true to size, and is fitted in some parts, but it is meant to look/fit loose. It’s definitely perfect for any body type as well as cup size. The pleats make the dress fun and playful, but as mentioned before, this can be made super classy at a formal event. Even though it’s floor length, on a casual day, I’d still wear it with cute sandals or tennis shoes.

I am 8 months pregnant and chaired a local event. This dress was perfect. Covered enough but still sexy. It is tea length. Looked floor length online but being 5'3 was perfect cause it didn't drag floor. Before I was pregnant I was a size 6 or 8. I ordered 10 and 12 wore 12. Prob could have tried a 14 too. Many compliments which made the night.

Wore this to a late fall, "formal" wedding in Montana and it paired nicely with my fur coat and gold heels. Only reason it didn't get the 5th star was that the length was a little award - would have preferred it one or two inches shorter (or full length). Have a large chest, and didn't feel the need to wear a bra, but certainly could have. very tight/fitted around the waist - but that just helps make the skirt even more amazing for dancing and twirling. would absolutely rent again.

I wore this dress to my baby shower. It was so comfortable and made me feel like a goddess instead of a whale. The color is rich and vibrant and the dress is super bump friendly and moves beautifully

Take this review with a grain of salt as I wore this at 29 weeks pregnant so I'm not entirely sure how to describe my body. I am 5'7" and usually wear a size 8 pre-pregnant. Based on sizing info from other pregnant reviewers I ordered that size and one size up in a different color as a backup. The fit is very forgiving except around the chest band. I had a bit of a panic getting the zipper up, but once it got past the band and fastened I was not too worried about busting out. I wear a 36 B-C and did not feel the need for a bra. I love that it had adjustable straps. I wish I could have worn the size up in the pink color I ordered, but for some reason that size 10 dress fit smaller (I could not get the zipper up at all) than the blue size 8. The color was beautiful (it's not really navy as it appears online but more of a gem blue), the dress had a nice flow, and was fun to wear.

This dress was comfortable and elegant. It was the perfect length and the straps were adjustable. I didn't have to wear a bra with it and it was forgiving material so I felt great in it the whole night. I would absolutely recommend this dress and style. The wedding didn't have dancing but it was the perfect length without heels and would have been great on the dance floor.

I really like this dress. I was attending a friend's wedding and I was about 17 weeks pregnant. This ended up being a great option for maternity because of how flowy it was in the belly area. This is actually my backup dress but I'm so happy that I had it. I will say that I am currently wearing a 32c bra and the dress was a little snug under the breast. But it wasn't snug enough that if I sized up to a four that it would have worked, the four would have been too big overall, I was really happy with the dress and if you are trying to hide your belly this is a good fat but if you're trying to show it off I think it can work too. I was overall comfortable. I am 5ft 6 and pre pregnancy about 120lbs

Had to go to a New Year's Eve black tie optional wedding ... this dress was perfect (size 6, 150 lbs, 5'8) It was very simple and elegant. One bad thing I could say about the dress would be it made me look a little wider than I wanted. Otherwise - first time using rent the runway and it was SO EASY.

This dress was great for my 26 week belly. It was flowey and comfy. Felt fancy even when I didn't really feel fancy. Not sure what my weight was during. Probably around 155lb.

This dress is beautiful, I am 8 months pregnant and the dress would not zip. I could not get a replacement in a bigger size so I added a jacket. I zipped the dress as far as it would go and added the jacket! I got a tone of complements!! I should have gone with a size 10. I have a 38 in bust right now being pregnant.

This dress fit in all the right places and the skirt allows for a lot of twirling on the dance floor. Simple yet elegant, this dress is one of my favorite rentals so far

The 4 fit me TTS (5'4, 130 lbs, hourglass) and I wore heels, although when I kicked them off the dress was still tea length on me. Incredible skirt for dancing. The fabric is heavier, so perfect for fall weddings. I wore a strapless bra but regular underwear otherwise. Simple gold accessories and nude heels finished the look. Elegant and wonderful to dance in!

This dress definitely hugs everywhere you want it to but I would say it runs on the smaller size so get your regular size and one size up! Gorgeous color!

Wore this dress to a November wedding in Arizona and it was great. SO MUCH FUN as you twirl on the dance floor. Tons of room to breath, but never felt baggy. Pair it with a fun pop of color!

It hit perfectly at my ankles, i am 5'3 and fit me perfect in all the right places. The straps were adjustable, and fit by boobs really well. I am a 34 triples D so it was easy to hide them but still have such a fun look!

The fit was perfect, wore a strapless bra although didn't need to even wear a bra. The material is heavier than expected so I was a little hot for the outdoor wedding. It was a great dress and great color. So comfortable one of my favorites I've worn. Lots of compliments!

Wore this for a rehearsal dinner. Beautiful and rich color, great pleating, longer length just above the ankles. Worn without a bra as it was not necessary given the way the top is designed. Pre pregnancy size around 2-4; 6 fit perfect with 7.5 month bump. Would happily rent again!

Dress was a bit heavy for FL weather but it fit perfectly on my 5' frame and I would consider renting it again. Straps are adjustable. No bra needed. Flowy bottom. What else could you need?

I am OBSESSED with this dress. I wore this for my engagement photos. I am 5'5", 145lbs, 34DD bust, and this fit me like a dream. It hit right above my ankles, showing off my shoes. LOVED this dress!! I use RTR for every wedding I go to & I always love the dresses, but this one stood out because it was so comfortable & fun to dance in!! I wore this to a Spring wedding in Birmingham, AL. I brightened it up with yellow earrings & bright lipstick to make it feel more springy & I loved how it looked! The top was tight enough that I didn't have to wear a bra. I loved the tea length, the fact that it was flowy & I didn't have to worry about spanx, & the pleats were super fun to dance & twirl in. 100% would recommend this dress!!

Lots of material to the dress! But it made it fun to wear. I wore the 8 a little snug around the chest area but nothing I couldn't handle for the night. Danced the night away in it wearing my matching rental earrings and bag and a pair of nude heels. It's a brighter blue than the picture, I thought it would be navy. Best emergency backup dress!

I received so many compliments! I tried the 6 on but the bust was waaaay too tight. It fit everywhere else because it was so flowy. RTR didn't have an 8R so I opted for the 10R. I didn't wear a bra, but would have had enough space for one. I was on a time crunch and it was the best fitting option. The dress was perfect for dancing.

I was comfortable all night and it's an elegant feel to it. I had so many compliments and it could go with many shoes/jewelry. I personally wore maroon shoes with the dress. I feel like the fit was true to size as well.

The dress is great--actually the second time I've worn it for a wedding, just a different color. Last time I wore the 2, this time I wore the 4 so I could eat more comfortably haha. I LOVE this dress. Very flowy, classy, and I got lots of compliment on it.

Super comfortable and true to size

This dress was a DREAM for a short lady with big ol boobays. I went bra-less in public for the first time in years, and I looked great doing it. I ordered it on a whim as a backup dress and ended up loving it way more than the dress I had originally chosen. 10/10 would recommend.

This dress is so flattering. Pros it definitely conceals my mom belly and I didn't really need a bra since it's tight up top. Cons are that it's tight up top and at the ribs so I couldn't breathe all that well with a bra on and ended up taking it off. Much better without. I got so many compliments on the color and style. Wish I could buy it tbh.

This dress was great for my 26-week maternity bump. I wore between a 10-12 pre-pregnancy, a 12/L in maternity clothes, and ended up going with the 14R for this dress. The main fit factor for me was the bust--I was a a 36D pre-pregnancy and the girls have grown a bit, so the 14R in this dress worked with a strapless bra underneath. Because it's an empire waist, if you're comfortable with it you could probably get away with no bra. The best part about this dress for maternity is that the skirt is all expanding pleats, so it should fit over just about any sized bump. I'm on the short side, just barely 5'3", so this fit me like a full-length gown rather than ankle-length, as shown on the model. That wasn't a problem for my event. My one complaint is that it's unlined in the skirt, so I was self-conscious about my giant maternity undies showing panty lines through the skirt. Overall, it was beautiful and comfortable.

I wanted a dress that would be forgiving to my post-baby bod- this was the perfect mix of modesty and fun. I was very comfortable with the fit, though as others mentioned the fabric is heavy. I wore it to a wedding in New Orleans in humid 90 degree weather, so that wasn't ideal. It was almost ankle length at 5'9", but I found the length flattering and the swing of the fabric was fun. The fit was true to size, I did not feel at all squeezed in the 10 and was able to wear a strapless bra.

I love this dress! I wore the pink version to an event earlier this summer and was so happy with the fit. It fits very true to size. The best part of this dress is that I didn't have to wear a bra! I'm a 32G, so that's basically unheard of for me. Love Jill Stuart!
