Cute dress. I really liked the bow, but decided to wear it with a vintage gold metal belt instead. So, I tucked the bow sashes down the back. You couldn't see them at all. With the metal belt the dress had a fun 70's inspired vibe. I'm 5'4" and wore shorter heels (only 3") and the dress just barely skimmed the ground. The high slit is really fun. I received several compliments.

I LOVED this dress. Very fun and unique. Fit was pretty good - I have an hourglass shape and I typically have to belt everything I wear to look like I have any waist at all. Thankfully a gold belt with this little dress looked just fine!

The dress fit amazing in all the right places. I received so many compliments all night and I made sure to mention "Rent the Runway" for all your fashion needs. Loved it!

I'm generally a 6 but Rent the Runway notified me a few days before my event that the 6 was no longer available. The 8 was a little too big but some fashion tape worked fine and I was comfortable with it being a little loose around my middle- it was still very flattering. I am 5'10 and sore 4 inch heels with the long size and it was the perfect length.

It's the most comfortable formal dress I've ever worn, and I didn't need a bra or support garments! The slit is high but not indecent (although I held it together while we dined at the private club). The gold dots really pop under the light. It's long, but I wore with platforms and was fine (4-inch).Plus I loved that the fabric was thin enough to keep me cool all night long without being see-thru! All in all, my all-time favorite RTR dress and a definite future re-rental.

The dress arrived on time and was exactly as described. I am 5'3" and the 2R was the perfect length with 4" heels. I ended up tying the "straps" around my neck with the bow in the back. Definitely shows some cleavage and a lot of leg when you walk or dance, so if you are going to a conservative formal event, I wouldn't choose this dress. I just used nipple covers and few pieces of tape to make sure the halter woudl stay put. Otherwise, it was perfect. I could have worn the 0R, but was a little tight under the arms, length was pretty much the same. Great for a pear shape as it's forgiving in the middle and bottom. Looks great in professional pictures! Would absolutely rent again.

This dress was FAB. Have to admit, I wanted to wear a bra (Carrie Bradshaw got away with it!) but my friend talked me out of it. The dress was lined and draped in a perfect way that made it flattering and oh so chic! I wore it to a ball and danced the night away - that slit was everything. Very much recommend.

This gown is a showstopper! The fabric and sheen is super luxe. The neck-tie gives you the flexibility to show as much or as little cleavage as you're comfortable with. I'm rather short but the 2R was the perfect length with a pair of 5 inch platform heels. The gown can also totally work for a less formal affair. I highly recommend this gown!

I wore this dress for a NYE wedding and loved it! Got so many compliments and felt like I stood out more than the other dresses I saw! It was a bit long on me but I was able to fold it up at the waist line. It was comfy, sexy, but conservative all at the same time. I'm surprised more people haven't rented this dress.

From start to finish I had a great experience with RTR! I got to pop into the Georgetown store and actually try on the dresses. My dress, the clutch and earrings I rented were FABULOUS! I didn't want the night to end. Thank you RTR! You've got a customer for life in me :)

This dress was very sexy, but not overkill. It fit great, was relaxed but still was elegant. I would rent it again!

I knew I hated the scarf and ordered it anyway hoping It was an easy fix to just tuck inside, and it was! The fabric was a little scratchy around the neck, but not enough to distract me. Went braless since the back is open.

I wore this to a New Years gala this year and I couldn't have been more satisfied. The dress is beautifully made and fits TTS. The only issue that I had was the fact that my legs are short, and the slit in the dress came up a little further than I would have liked. Nothing that a safety pin couldn't fix! I highly recommend this gown!

I ordered the 2R and the 4R. I ended up wearing the 2R because I felt like it fit overall better to my body type and it was slightly shorter. With that said, it was still way too long! I'm 5'5" and I wore 4 inch heels and was still tripping over the gown. I received many compliments on the dress and felt very confortable all night in it, but the length was killing me. I couldn't walk on flat surfaces without tripping and don't even get me started on stairs! If I had ordered the short I think it would have been perfect.

This dress was perfect for a black tie wedding in Palm Springs. The material was super breathable and light. The slit balanced out the high neckline and made it feel very sexy. I can't recommend this dress enough.

My size wasn't available (6) so I had to go a size up (8), it was a little big, but since the dress had a flowy fit anyway, it ended up working out. I'm also short, about 5' 2'' - the dress was long but just reached the floor when wearing 3.5'' heels. I wish I could've kept it!!

This dress is truly awesome and very comfortable. I ordered a size 10 and it was a bit snug. There was no other size available for me as I ordered at the last minute, otherwise I would have chosen size 12. I received a ton of compliments and would buy this dress if I could.

The dress fit me perfectly, running true to size and length. I am 5'6"/160 and the dress hit about 3" off the ground with 5" heels. The bust fit great which is a huge pro since I am a 34E. The slit was just the right amount of sexy and I felt super comfortable in the dress all night. Got lots of compliments from guys and girls at the event. My husband wanted me to keep it!

I rented this as a backup because I was pretty sure the dress I wanted wouldn't fit, but it did. Fortunately, my friend was invited to the same Mardi Gras Ball at the last minute (just hours before), so I offered it to her. So glad it didn't go to waste! Hello, Orleans Gown at Mardi Gras!!! She is 5'2 and about 140 lbs. She normally wears a 10 in dresses, 12 in pants. This was an 8, but I explained in the least offensive way that I'd seen that a lot of pregnant women had worn it. The dress fit perfectly. It's all very flowy except for that cinch in the middle. It was a little tough to get the zipper up (she's thickest in her waist), but it all worked out. She did not wear a bra, but had boob tape or glue or whatever that is. She wore 3 inch heels and it was still a little long (she is also incredibly short, remember). The material is very thin. It was a very cold night, and she was miserable while waiting for our rides. Other than that, it was great for dancing with 12,000 people for 8 hours.

This dress fit great. It was a little low cut so I had to use some wardrobe tape as to not have a wardrobe malfunction! The slit was a nice touch too and my husband LOVED it. The gold polka dots were really fun and I got a ton of compliments on this dress. I added a gold belt to give myself a bit of a waist but others who rented this dress did not. It was also very forgiving in the belly region so if you have a little pooch, this is a great dress to hide that. It is a little long so if you're on the shorter side, you will need some very high heels. I'm 5'7 and wore 4 inch heels and it just grazed the floor.

I wore this dress out for my 30th Birthday Party & it was an absolute dream! The open back, deep-cut front, the high leg slit, and the breeziness of the skirt gave this dress a glamorous, sexy vibe, while the tie-neck made it feel elegant, and feminine -- The PERFECT combination! This is honestly my favorite dress of all time -- I have been searching all over to purchase it, since the day I had to send it back!!

I wish I took more pictures in this. The skirt's slit is cut just right and I was in control as to how much leg I wanted to show. I am short, so even 5" of heel wasn't enough to keep it from dragging (which turned out to be fine in the end). I chose not to wear pasties but there were enough layers of fabric to prevent any mishaps from happening for me. All in all, this is a ridiculously good looking choice for petite ladies.

The dress was comfortable and fun. I wore pasties and was not afraid of any wardrobe malfunction. The slit is high, but still ok to dance in.

This dress was perfect for the black tie wedding that I attended in October. I received so many compliments and the dress fit perfectly. I ended up wearing a U-plunge backless adhesive bra and it worked great. I wore 3 inch heels and the dress barely skimmed the floor. The slit does not come up too high and the dress was comfortable to dance in all night long. I would highly recommend this dress and would consider renting it again.

This dress was so flowy and unique! At 5"8 I thought it was a really great length, I decided to wear flats and it didn't drag, but just barely skimmed the floor. If I had decided to wear heels, it would have been fine also as long as they weren't extreme. I received compliments on the dress all night, and never worried about a malfunction. I wore an adhesive backless bra, which is a must unless you're going to wear no bra at all, and I could have used an even lower front on the bra because of the deep v. I was a little uncomfortable to bare that much in the front and wore the scarf in the front, it was very cute. If I had to pick on something- perhaps the upper back was a little more ballooned than draped looking if you saw it from the profile but that didn't bother me enough to fuss over it. Over all- great dress, it made the night that much more fun! Highly recommend.

I lived the unique characteristics of this dress. I tucked the neck ties inside the dress and wore nude heels. It was comfy and the perfect dancing dress. I could have gone down a size to fit snugger around the waist, but it worked perfect for the wedding. No one had anything close to this design.

The dress runs true to size, but you will need heels. Very comfortable and easy to move in. I wore it to an outdoor September wedding in CA and it was perfect. The fabric is light but with a lining, so it can work for any season. I would love to own it!

Fit great, flowy fabric. Slit was very high, but still tasteful. I felt so comfortable and received so many compliments. I am VERY tall, 5'-11" and the 8L was perfect with 1" or 2" heels. I am a 34A, so the top was a bit roomy, but still fit fine to wear bra-less. I felt confident wearing a dress that fit comfortably, and was so unique & beautiful. It was made of such a nice quality fabric in black chiffon with metallic gold polka dots. The tie top was a nice detail which gave a retro 70s vibe. Wore with strappy gold shoes and a metallic gold vintage clutch.

This dress was perfect! I ended up wearing a belt with it to give it a little something more. I tend to run between a 0-2 because my upper body is small but I have bigger butt & thighs. The 0 fit up top so well! It was very classy with a bit of sexiness. The open part in the back was such a nice surprise and the cut in the front was not that low, so it was appropriate. I am 5'4 and was wearing 3 inch heels and the regular length was perfect. The slit in the leg was breathtaking when walking! I literally have nothing bad to say about this dress. I had to fuss with the tie part in the front a little until I got the right look. Great dress, totally recommend!!

I wore this to my best friend's engagement party on New Years Eve in New Orleans. The photo does not do the beautiful fabric justice. The low neck and high slit worked perfectly for NYE. I am petite so there was a lot of extra material but I worked it out by belting it and wearing high heels.

being new to RTR, I wasn't sure about the whole thing. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised! the dress arrived on time and fit near perfectly. it's fitted at the waist and true to size. bit was only a bit big in the bust. overall, it was in good shape, too. I wore it to an "under the big top" themed formal event, and I think the shape of the dress and gold polka dots made a formal-type gown a bit more whimsical and fun to wear. i received a ton of compliments and was happy to see my dress was one-of-a-kind. I was sad to see it go!

I was about 30 weeks pregnant when I wore this. I went up a size but the empire waist was still tight, so I suggest going up 2 sizes if you are also rocking a bump. I didn't love the overall fit but the design elements with the open back and leg slit were really cute and fun. I wore 4" heels and it was just slightly long.

The 10R was the only size available when I rented, and since I sometimes fit that I ordered it anyways. It was a bit big, so I think the 8R would be better for me. Even too big, it's cut to be drapey and flowy so it still looked good on me. I started out the night with NuBra, but got irritated by the constant "these are falling off" feeling. Free-boobed the rest of the night, no one the wiser. The slit is also not as high as implied by the model's pic on me, probably because I'm short. I think I ended up barefoot as well, the hem of the dress was hitting the floor at that point by an inch or so. I want to rent it again, in a better size!

Depending on the dress I'm between a 4 and a 6 so I ordered both and ended up going with the 4; it fit perfectly around my waist and wasn't tight on my chest. I would suggest to not wear a bra with it, due to the back being open. Being a 34 DD I didn't think I could pull it off, but I used fashion tape and no one noticed and I was able to dance the night away. The only con I have is that it is very long. I'm 5'3" and wore 4 inch heels and was still stepping on the dress, so if you're short I wouldn't recommend wearing this gown.
