I love this trendy dress by J.O.A! Running true to size with no stretch, I recommend wearing your true size for your primary size and going up for your back up. This style is fitted throughout the midsection and roomie at the hips. It works for all cup sizes. You are not able to wear a standard bra with this dress so you should wear nubra or no bra since there is an open back. At 5’3”, the length hit mid-thigh on me. Beautiful yellow dress. You can dress it up or down!

XS was too small to button, S was the perfect fit. A great forgiving dress in the midsection while perfect at chest and overall length. Wish the buttons were a tad bigger or the hole a tad smaller, had to keep checking buttons throughout the day as they would come undone. Wanted to wear so much in the summer, bought it!

5'3", 32DD, 25in waist, 37in hips, usually size 0. I rented the XS and although it was pulling at the buttons around my chest (wore a lightly padded strapless bra), it was still comfortable and SO cute.

I am between a small and medium, usually more toward a medium these days. Other reviewers said the dress ran small so I got the medium to be safe. It was way too big for me and I was only able to wear it by using two safety pins to bring it in in the back. Because it was so big it wasn't super flattering on me but I wore it anyway because I loved it so much. I will probably rent again in a small. For reference I am 5'1, 131 pounds, dress size small/medium, 34d, approximately 30 1/2 inches around my waist measuring across my belly button and definitely needed a small in this dress.

I typically wear a medium or a small in dresses. After reading the reviews saying the dress runs small, I ordered a medium and a large for backup. I tried on the medium and it was so baggy and stretched out I thought the large would never fit. I put the large on and it was actually more fitting and tighter than the medium. Ended up wearing the large. Very cute dress, a little snug on the legs when sitting down.

After reading all the reviews of this I decided to size up because I was nervous about it fitting my bust. Although the M fit perfectly, the elastic at the top stretched throughout the day and I was constantly pulling it up a few hours in. Very cute but plan accordingly!

I ordered this on a whim on two reviews that said fit true to size - well I'm always a 4/6 and can wear Smalls and mediums with that sizing so I chose the medium as I only get one size erring on the side of caution, well when I just looked at this dress out of the bag I thought I ordered wrong and got the small and I definitely thought that as I tried to try it on. I am not a big person so I don't know if I got a bad batch but this is very tight on me and I don't think I can button the bottom two buttons and sit down anywhere.... I tried to show a pic of how tight the bust is as well and I'm only a 34b sometimes a C if I've eaten good recently. But seriously this is small and the buttons pull across the tight areas. I've literally never worn a large in anything but also never rented this designer. I'm about 128 pounds and 5'4" about 27 inch waist and 36 inch hips. This dress is adorable. But I wish it fit a little better for me to feel comfortable wearing it. I would have returned it for a different size but I was late trying my items on. The material is a light cotton which would be nice for warm weather and the sleeves are super cute but the buttons are small and like slippery I had a very difficult time getting it on, but that may be cause it's too small as well. I saw another review that agrees this runs small but then someone wore a medium that's 155 and 5'8" with huge breasts so I just don't know what to say other than good luck because the dress is super cute.

Perfect and true to size!

Basically this dress only buttoned if I didn't breathe. It looked fantastic, with minimal gapping, but the sleeves look really silly on. You could wear a better dress.

I was so sad this dress didn't fit. I am usually a 6/8 with a bigger chest and the medium in this dress just did not workout

Didn't end up wearing it - I rented this is XS, and then again in a M. Neither worked out. This runs quite small as I could barely get the first button over my chest. I rented the medium and it was fine, a little big on the chest and fine on the waist, but the balloon sleeves were too much for my frame/height.

Fit just perfect for me! Being that I am small chested. It's such a beautiful and fun dress just for a weekend getaway.

I'm 5'7 and busty so the ribcage and bust area the buttons wouldn't close...it fit perfectly over my thighs and booty so I was disappointed that it didn't work but if you are chesty this dress isn't for you.

I am a pretty true medium. I am 27 in waist 37.5 inch hip 34 C bust. This is just too small. it was skin tight. and the buttons on the bottom would not stay closed. definitely meant for a think and short girl. cute print though!

I really wanted this to fit me because I was so excited for this dress. If you're busty, this dress is going to be wayyy too small for you-especially if you're anything more than a B/C cup. I ordered the large as I'm usually a size 8-10 and as soon as I saw it I knew there was no way it was going to fit me. I didn't bother putting it on all the way because I was scared it would damage.

Too big

It looks very pretty in person, but the width of a large is too small. I could not get it over my boobs and I was afraid it would rip. If you have bigger boobs do not rent this dress.
