Fit well, was a little tight in the waist

I felt like a vintage Christmas card in this gorgeous skirt. It was so much fun to wear, and I didn't want to take it off! It made me feel like Audrey Hepburn and I received so many compliments at the Christmas Eve Party we attended. I normally wear a 00p, and this skirt fit pretty well. Other reviews mentioned it had a tight waist, but I have strange proportions and actually wished the waist was a bit tighter so it would sit up higher. I would absolutely rent again!

A very flattering skirt and comfortable to wear at work and easily transitions to after work.

This skirt is a little warm for Florida, but has such a perfect weight and elegant drape, that I'll gladly suffer. ;) The colors are beautiful, as well. I don't often appreciate full skirts, but this one does not add weight. I love it!

I sized up as suggested by other reviews and it fit great. Loved the pockets. The skirt is definitely made for cooler weather.

The dress does not bunch in the back like the picture on the model. The pockets are nice and has a really seasonal feel. Would definitely wear again.

I rented this skirt with my unlimited subscription. Fits great and I love the green in the plaid print. The exposed zipper updates the skirt a little but the length gives it a cure retro look.

I'm shorter than the model, so the skirt was more a mid calf length as opposed to being at the knee. Also -- the waist is not forgiving AT ALL and is fairly tight. I probably should have sized up to the large for waist band.

I am 5'0 petite, and usually wear XS. However, I think this skirt runs a little small since I ended up finding that the S was more comfortable to wear. The heavy material is great for winter, and I added hunter green tights for festivity.

Do not try to size down for this skirt. If you are in-between sizes, go for the larger size...your waist will thank you.

I like pockets. This has them! It's also warm, different, and a length that is in this season. It is more "girl cute", if that means anything to anyone reading this, but I enjoy it and am keeping it to wear at least a couple more times before sending back.

Loved this skirt. Paired well with a sweater for work in the wintertime. Looked business-like but also fun and young. Also super comfortable.

I wore this for a rehearsal dinner in winter in Chicago. This kept me nice and warm and looked great. I paired it with a dark grey turtleneck and it really accentuated my waist. I could have probably sized up, but it still fit.

This skirt fits me perfectly, I am very tall and slender and it hit my hips just right. I got so many compliments throughout the day. I was very tempted to buy it. It is very warm, I didn't even feel the need to wear tights or leggings on a cold day. The only thing I would say to watch out for is that it is nearly black the color is so dark. The picture makes it look more of a brownish color but its not at all it's a green red and black. Also if the waistband hits your skin at all I like it that online because my shirt was a little shorter it's a little itchy but it's really no big deal when you have your shirt tucked In well.

I seriously loved this skirt. It liked to attract fuzz, so definitely keep a lint brush handy. I felt like a little irish princess all day. It was beautiful. It hit mid-shin for those wondering about the length. Also, I have a small waist for my height/weight ratio... and the waistband was ALMOST too small. So definitely be careful if you are proportioned a bit different. I could have done well with a Medium too.

Very full skirt that is longer than it is advertised. I wore it with a black tight off the shoulder too from rtr. Was cute and very appropriate for the season.

I wore this with a black sleeveless top and tights for a couple of work meetings on different sites. I thought the fit was great, the waist was flattering, and it was perfect material for Minneapolis in January!

I am usually a small, size 2 or 4. This skirt ran super small. It was a heavy weight, good for san francisco winters (or summers for that matter), but I wore it to work and at the end of the day was very tight. Paired with black booties and black t-shirt.

It fit nicely, the fabric was heavy so good for a chilly day.

Grabbed the medium in this despite warnings... Waist is tiny and unforgiving. Barely made it through the night and doubt I'd make it through a full day. The pockets are amazing and it's lines so the wool is lovely and not itchy.

This does run very tiny in the waist, but I was lucky enough to be able to zip it up. I LOVE this skirt. It's the perfect fullness and length. It's cozy and perfect for a wintery work day. I felt so classic and got lots of compliments.

I liked this skirt, but didn't love it. I wore it to work and for Thanksgiving. It's a nice material and is great for the Fall. However, it sat a bit higher on my waist and was long. I think it was a little matronly. I wore it with a gray sweater. It looked ok, but might be better on someone taller and with a straighter figure.

I wasn't able to wear this because I couldn't come close to zipping the small up! (I am between a 4 and 6 in dress size.) The fabric is heavy/high quality and the color is darker than in the photo. I plan on renting a larger size because it would be a perfect work skirt for fall.

Not quite as grey as the image shows and it runs small since it sits so high up. Normally, I'd wear a small in this style but with it being too tight and the pleats, it wasn't flattering.

This skirt runs small. It hits the natural waist but was uncomfortably snug. So much so I couldn't wear it.

Based on reviews I got a small rather than extra small. I am only 5'3 but I am a "leggy" 5'3. This was closer to my ankle than my knee I am kinda bummed about it. The product details state 26 inchest from waist to hemline which would hit just below my knee. Also this skirt make me look pretty big around the waist. Maybe if I went with the extra small it would fit better on my natural waist, look less big and come higher on the leg. My suggestion for anyone deciding between small and extra small----go extra small! I wear a 26 in pants and would still want the xs. Hope this helps bc skirt is CUTE & should be worn!!!! :)

The waistband was perfect for me, but the length was way too long! I am 5'4" and it hit below my knees. Given that the fabric was very heavy, it looked way too matronly for me to pull off. If I was taller it would have been perfect.

I loved this skirt. The pattern was very Ralph Lauren and the weight made it look/ feel expensive. The hang of the pleating was flattering and didn't create too much volume. I wasn't able to wear this skirt because it ran so small. I am a SM/M and ordered the L based on other reviews. I could barely get the zipper closed! It looked like other renters had the same problem, as the zipper was definitely "wonky" from being over-pulled.

The quality of this skirt is excellent, with a nice heavy fabric that would be great for cooler months. However, it was SO SMALL. I always wear an S in high-waisted midi skirts like this, but this one wouldn't even zip all the way up.
