It did fit be a little big in the chest area but I fixed it by wearing a white camisole under it. I absolutely loved the flow of the dress.

I did use fashion tape to keep the dress from gaping in the front but that's just because I'm pretty flat chested!

Absolutely LOVED this dress! I'm a 6 in most standard brands and the M was perfect. I have a larger ribcage and the empire was not too tight! The dress appeared very sliming. I'd recommend this for any summer/outdoor event! The dress wrinkles very easily so you'll have to be gentle.

It has pockets! There are two buttons at the ribs that is a little tight. The small fit perfect up too but I was not able to button those two button at the ribs. On the medium I was able to button those with no problem. The top portion fit ok. It is a little loose and low cut. But overall I enjoyed wearing this dress! Can be dressed up or down.

I loved this dress for my engagement shoot but I did have to pin the space between the waist button & first skirt button shut. It kept gapping even though the medium was loose on me. Also the top was too loose for my chest but the small was too tight in the waist. The fabric is really soft & the fit is flattering. I would wear it again.

This dress was a lot more low-cut than pictured, and I had to wear either a cami with it or a sports bra type of underwear. It was a little tight in the waist, but overall, it was cute. I probably wouldn't rent it again though, as I didn't think it was that flattering.

I was worried after reading from others that it would run small, so I originally wanted to get the MR and the LR because I'm slim but not petite, however that was not an option and I'm so glad because the SR fit perfectly! It was a little tight right around the base of my ribcage but not uncomfortably so, and very flattering to my figure, no bra required. The MR was a little more comfortable and loose but not as flattering and would have required a bra. Fabric was very soft and comfortable.

I'm so sad that this dress didn't fit! The waist and rib cage is extremely tiny--I consider myself a petite person and could not get the chest buttons closer than two inches apart! The fabric and color was beautiful, however.

Great dress and flattering. Very light material. Can be dressed up and down. Does not come with the belt. I tried the XS and could not close the buttons around my mid section but the small was perfect.

I can see why the other reviews say it runs small. The waist nips in and is for those with really tiny waists but a full bust. If you have this shape, then you'll find this dress to fit perfectly. I slipped a white bandeau under to make it work appropriate. Lightly see through if you wear dark underwear, so nude underwear is probably best. Hits mid-calf and the buttons can be undone so you can customize the fit. Soft summer linen and it looks great with cognac colored mules!

Adorable but wayyyyy too tight around the rib cage. I'm a 10/12 (trending more towards 12s these days ...) and I literally could not button this under my chest. (I have a full chest but it wasn't my boobs that were in the way. It was my ribs.) Would be cute on someone with a smaller rib cage though!

This dress is really cute but just one of those garments that doesn't fit quite right if you're curvier. I wore it a couple of times and loved the silhouette but definitely needed to adjust frequently, especially when sitting.

I am wide at the waist and slimmer at the hips. I wasn't able to button the slimmer waist on this dress.

This was very nicely made and would make a nice summer piece. Unfortunately it was very small across the ribs and bust for me - I'm usually a large in dresses and couldn't get it closed. I almost wore it casually open over a tank and jeans because it's that pretty, but ended up not wearing.

Fell I love with this in the pics, on the hanger and on, but I couldn't wear it. It was just too small. It was surprising too because of where it was small. I'm a 36DDD and yet the only place it was roomy was the top. Across the rib cage and waist it pulled too much to get away with. Still love the dress; it just has to be on someone else.

Probably adorable on the right person, but the large fit more like a size 6 (maaaybe an 8), so didn't work for me!

Cute dress! Very comfortable. Medium fit but was right around the rib cage. I would like to see what a large is like. I worry the large might be less fitted in the rib cage/more comfortable but that the rest of the dress might be too baggy. The medium made for a great silhouette

I didn't wear this dress. It was too tight across my high waist/ribs. I felt like I couldn't breathe. A size up could have worked but this size was already very revealing around the chest. It was thin material but not see thru.

This is the second JOA dress I've rented and I didn't end up wearing either. They tend to be poorly constructed and gap or bunch somewhere. The buttons at the waist fit perfectly but it still made weird gapping on the front of the dress even though it was not too small

Loved the idea of this dress but in reality it was poorly executed. First off it came without the belt, but they warned me it would and I probably wouldn't have work it anyway but still. Second it was so low cut that you'd have to be careful of the kind of bra you wore. It also ran slightly snug in the waist (my waist is 26.25" for reference) though it was plenty roomy in the hips. The pockets just made my hips look wider & made me look pear shaped which I am not, and I didn't like that either. Fabric was soft but thin. Overall underwhelmed--I won't rent in a size up because it's just not that flattering.

Didn't wear this because the top was way too billowy yet it would barely button right under my boobs. Really odd sizing. Material also felt cheap.

This dress was not what I expected. The fabric was a good quality but thin, and the fit was loose except in the top, where the snaps kept snapping open and the two top buttons wouldn't even button. It definitely fit way smaller than I thought it would, in weird places. Would not rent again.

The fabric is soft and thinks however the dress was way too small. I typically wear a 10 or 13 in dresses and I could not button this dress at all past my waist. If you are curvier in the hip area you may want to size up. The fabric has very little stretch and give.

Soft fabric, love the stripes. The fit around rib cage is very small, but it was too big up top and on bottom!

This runs small and you need a low cut slip in order to wear it.
