I wore this skirt to the Opera, paired with a floral jacket (also a RTR rental), and a thin satin cami. I wore a size 4, as it was the only size option available, so no back-up. Luckily it fit like a dream! (For reference, I have a 26" waist) It does wear slightly like a drop-waist fit, in the sense that it's a little bit flat around your mid-section, and doesn't start flaring out until around your butt, which is a little deceiving from the model photo, but I didn't mind that one bit. Because of this, I can see why some reviews said it may be hard to tuck in tops without it looking bunchy, so try to pair it with a thin top and you'll have no problem. I would suggest sizing up if you aren't looking to accentuate your waist. Sat just below the rib cage and landed little below the knee on me, which I wish was a tiny bit shorter, but no big deal. Zipper was a little bit finicky, the piece had obviously been rented quite a bit before me. Color is SLIGHTLY greener than the model photo, but I'd still call it a true olive. Overall, very happy with it, and would definitely rent again!

Loved this skirt the fit is super classy but being from leather gives it the perfect edge. Hunter green color very flattering for olive skin.

I wore this for a university fashion show. It was midi-length on me but was still so classy. Loved the simplicity and feel of the skirt! Would wear again in different colors if possible!

I rented this to wear on a date. I wanted to look feminine with a little edge, which I think leather or the leather look helps to achieve. I felt great in this skirt. There are many shirt or sweater styles you can wear with this skirt and it can be dressed up or down. I also wore this to church with flats. This skirt also helps create curves on the straight and narrow body types. I was a little worried about this skirt being a petite, but it's a great contemporary midi length. You could wear this to work and go straight out for dinner/drinks by adding heels and different jewelry.

Rented for work, while warm weather did not come yet , its not my usual style , its probably better on straight or sporty body, i iron it from the back to take some wrinkles out, as it's a fabric, not a leather,& yes- waist is tight & no stretch, i believe it was 27" on size S

Like most other people have noted, the skirt is high waisted & very tight around the top. I normally wear a medium but had to go with the large. By the end of the night it was squeezing me so tight I had to unzip it to drive home. BUT it looked fabulous & I received a ton of compliments. If it weren't so tight around the top I would have given it 5 stars.

I rented this for work, not really knowing what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised! It's super high waisted and was quite flattering. The only issue for me was the length. I'm 5'2, so it was a little long, but overall I got a ton of compliments! Highly recommend for a fun work rental.

I'm only 5'2" but this skirt was almost tea length on me when I tried to wear it at my natural waist. The waist of the skirt was tiny to boot so I had to roll it a few times for it to hit at my knees. I loved my look when paired with a belt to hide the rolled skirt but I wouldn't rent again.

The skirt definitely runs small and sits high up on the waist, but that is workable. The real issue I had with it, is the material made anything underneath it look bunchy, which made it tough to wear a shirt tucked into it. I opted for a crop top, which meant I could only wear this for an outing, as opposed to wearing it to work, as I'd planned. That being said, it was a great accent piece. Something different than I would normally wear. I am glad I had the opportunity to wear it just once, but didn't feel strongly about wearing it again.

Sadly, I loved the leather skirt more on the website than when it arrived. The color looks like a light to medium brown but it really is an olive green color. I liked everything about it BUT the color. Wore it out to brunch while visiting Tennessee.

I was expecting this skirt to be leather when I received it, but sadly it was pleather. The skirt ran small, the x-small is for sizes 23-24, size up if you are a 25-26. The length is also a bit awkward, it's a midi length skirt which falls mid thigh not knee length.

I loved this skirt so much I browsed online sites until I found one to purchase and keep for myself! It's a great addition to any woman's wardrobe and can be dressed up or down and worn in a variety of ways. I won Best Dressed wearing that skirt at a community fashion event which was pretty great! The only (very small) negative is that there is no give in the waistline but other than that, 5 stars!

Can be worn for work and dressed up for date night. Liked it so much I bought it. May size up, this did run a bit small. I am usually a true xs and had to send back for a small.

What a perfect skirt to add some flair to your everyday work attire. I think I got 20 compliments — coworkers, clients, and random people at the gym! It was a beautiful OLIVE GREEN in person (looks brown in pictures) and I wore it almost identical to the model with a long brown shirt (kicking myself for not taking pictures). I ended up buying it! It was a great price and with so many people fawning over it, I know I'll wear it many more times to come. Do yourself a favor and rent this item now.

Pretty skirt! But it's incredibly fitted at the waist, so if you want to be comfortable go up a size. It fit me but I got it through my unlimited membership for work and it would not have been comfortable for a 12 hour work day. The large was knee length on my 6 ft frame so short girls might find it longer than expected.

I wore this for a Thanksgiving dinner, bad idea. I could have EASILY fit into a medium, but despite reading all the comments saying to size up my delusional narcissistic sensibilities convinced me to stick to my regular size. Anyways, I looked awesome standing up but sitting down was a struggle. I literally had to unzip the skirt half way in order to drive home. There is NO stretch in the waist. That being said, its a super classy skirt and I would totally recommend wearing it on a night that you don't plan gorging yourself on holiday food. The material feels like real leather.

I got this skirt as a back up for an item that I ordered but didn't receive. It ran some what tight and had no stretch, so it wasn't very comfortable for me; a size up probably would have been better. You have to wear it very high, and it still hits at your knees. Also, the color is olive green not tan. Didn't love it.

Rented to wear to dinner in NYC, but plans changed. I tried it on anyway, and liked it overall - I typically don't like fuller skirts, but the fabric helped tone down the shape. Glad I sized up (Medium was a 4-6), both for comfort and so it didn't need to be worn higher at the waist. Depending on body proportions, may be easier or harder to style into an outfit - I have a thinner lower half and probably would have worn w tall boots for balance. A fitted top tucked in seemed to work the best - or a thin fitted turtleneck.

I wore this to work with a cardigan, silk blouse, and leopard heels. I received complements at my lunch meeting from a client. It is a great piece and fun to mix in with my business wardrobe, though I would probably wear it for an evening out with my husband, as well. I measure 28 at the waist, and 38.5 at the hips and am usually a 6 or 8. I put this as runs small, as it fit very well everywhere, but was cut way in at the waist and just zipped. I have a flat stomach, but it my fit poorly on anyone that does not :(

VERY VERY High waisted! Comes up almost to your bra underwire! I would recommend going up a size b/c the skirt does come up very high and you're more than likely going to be tucking your shirt into it. Also, no one needs tight leather on their tummy....
