While I liked this dress and felt put together for work, it had more fabric than I was expecting. The fabric has a slight sheen and "swoosh." The deep v in front is very deep - it's pinned here. Great quality and I'm glad I rented it because I've been wanting to try it for a while, but I don't know if i recommend it.

My husband called this my raincoat dress because the material sounded like a raincoat. It was pretty comfortable except I found the sleeves a little snug for my liking, but otherwise an easy to wear dress.

I don't usually write reviews, but I have rented hundreds of things from RTR through my Unlimited membership and this is one of my favorites. Of all the things I have rented, this is one of the only ones that I rented twice--and I would happily rent it again. I love this dress because it's work appropriate yet fun. It's perfect for spring/fall transitional weather and the fabric "pops". It is a beautiful cut with great tailoring, and I have gotten about a million compliments on it. Jil Sander runs large, so consider sizing down. It would also be very low cut without a cami or other shirt underneath. Love this dress!

I really loved this piece but the drawstring has a hard time staying tight if you did a bow. You had to double knot it to keep it tight and then it was hard to untie. I really enjoyed the volume of the piece although other reviewers seemed not to. It does run a little large but I think that is also the look. I wore it with a silk high necked tank underneath. It looked professional and put together. Good for women hiding a little pooch like me.

This dress was low cut hence so you'll have to wear a scarf or layer with cami. The dress wrinkles and arms are a little snug with no stretch. Best feature was pockets.

Dress is cute and comfortable… and has pockets! However it’s not the most flattering as the body is pretty big while arms are super tight. Unique material.

I wanted to love this dress, but I wanted to lift and move my arms more. Very flattering shape and cut, except the arms were SKIN TIGHT. And this is not made of material that needs to be skin tight.

Cute dress. Like other reviewers I found the sleeves pretty tight until I discovered there were buttons on the cuff to unbutton. Definitely need to wear a cami or something underneath.

I rented this dress for a rehearsal dinner 6 months pregnant. I am normally a size 8-10 and ordered a 12. It fit beautifully in all the right places and the arms weren't too tight. If I had ordered an 8 or 10, even not pregnant, I fear they would have been. The material and quality was fantastic and I received compliments all night!

The slight stiffness to the fabric made this feel special. It's fairly low cut which is worth keeping in mind depending on your office environment!

Loved this dress. It's almost like parachute pants material (if you remember the 80s), but it is comfortable and chic for work. The sleeves are on the smaller side, but not too tight.

The material and cut were so pretty but I am 5'4 (around 140 lbs) and have an athletic build and this made me look like the dressed swallowed me whole. I wasn't able to wear it.

I felt it needed a blouse to make the neckline more modest. But felt impressive.

Fantastic look for a low key semi formal event. Gorgeous fabric with a bit of sheen, but not too much. Runs large through the majority of the dress however the sleeve width etc. is true to size.

The dress runs big and gaped at the chest. I had to draw the string so tight it made the back look funky. I would suggest ordering a size or two down.

I was swimming in this dress. The fabric is quite thick, so it was difficult to adjust the waist, drawstring or not. Tightening the drawstring had the unfortunate side effect of making the top gape. It also hit mid-shin, which made me look super stumpy.

Fabric is kind of like parachute fabric. Needed size smaller but not it would be a wow didn't wear

It is so low cut, the shoulders were tight and the body/skirt were too oversized. I love Jill Sander and wanted this dress to work.
