Rented the dress for a 40th birthday dinner party. It was comfy but also elegant. Overall likes the dress.

I've rented this dress twice now, and would easily rent it a million more times...or buy it if I could! The dress itself is beyond comfortable, which is great if you want to dance or even have to sit for a long period of time. The pattern distracts from any problem areas - ahem, tummy - while still looking super chic. I got complimented on this so many times, so if you want to feel like a million bucks, rent this dress ASAP.

Comfortable, yet classy!

This dress fit great and was so comfortable. I wore it for a Diwali party and loved dressing it up with a sparkly bag and sparkly shoes. Great for curvy gals.

This dress is extremely pretty in person and very very comfortable. True to size, no issues all night. I am 6 foot tall, so it could have been an inch longer but overall extremely happy with it. I am curvy in the boobs and butt so this dress hugged me in all the right spots! Conservative but sexy! Great find!

I got this dress for a friend's wedding. Based on previous reviews and following stylist's advice, I took a size 16 and sized up for my backup. The 16 fit perfectly and with full body shapewear, smoothed out all my unsightly curves and looked gorgeous! The design of the dress is very flattering to a body like mine with the design lines so strategically placed. Highly recommend!

The dress fits great - a bit snug in my hip area but the fabric has a bit of stretch which makes it super comfortable. And though it has some metallic threads in the pattern it is still good for daytime and work appropriate.

I wore the smaller of the 2 dresses sent because it runs a little on the large side. It was super comfy & the extra room made it better. I thought there was silver in the dress from the picture, but it was a nude liner that made it look different. Everyone thought I looked great & one of the few that didn't have fringe or feathers dropping all over the place!! It was so fun dressing up for a party that wasn't Halloween. Will definitely be renting again, made shopping a LOT easier for just accessories !!

This dress was AMAZING! I wore it to my brother's wedding and was beautiful AND comfortable all night! I had the 20W as my backup and probably could have worn it, because the dress is stretchy, but it would have required shapewear. I think the 22W was a little big on me, but I didn't wear any shapewear and it looked great! The jersey and the overlay are super stretchy, so the dress moved with me. Other reviews mentioned that it wasn't super dressy, so I planned my accessories to make it appropriate for a formal wedding. This was my first RTR experience and it was wonderful. I would definitely rent it again!

Rented this dress twice...enough said! Once for my company Christmas party and once for an engagement party. Compliments included "pretty dress", "classy", "sexy", and "you look nice". It fit perfectly, not too short. I didn't have to constantly pull it down or adjust it. It was a comfortable, sort of stretchy material. It might run slightly big. I wear a 24 in materials with no stretch and a 20 in stretch jeans.

The dress made me feel sexy. Fit very well, a little bit larger than I expected. Great length.

Rented this for my company holiday party. It was so comfortable! Fit my large chest (38DDD) with no gaps, no tugging/tape, and no need for special undergarments. I actually dressed it down a bit with a sweater and black leggings because it was a more casual party (and 20 degrees outside). Very versatile, and i converted a few people to RTR because of it!

Loved the way the dress felt and was comfortable. It was easy to wear and went with just about anything. Happy with this first RTR experience. Got a lot of compliments from hubby!

I went with the larger size because I was a bit bloated and under the weather and comfort was key. Pros fit in art the cocktail event without being tho dressy or under dressed. Has a great level of stretch and felt super soft. The top layer did not snag on anything.

I am so glad I chose this dress for the wedding I recently attended. Although I would consider the dress true to size, I ended up wearing my bigger, backup size because I felt a little more comfortable with the bit of extra length. The dress looks almost sparkly to me in the stock photo but I did note in the reviews that the dress could be on the more casual side depending on how you accessorize. It definitely wasn't sparkly in person but I prepared for that with glittery jewelry and it still seemed very appropriate for the dressier wedding. I have been so happy with every RTR experience and I will be renting again soon!

This dress was great for my event! It was comfortable and elegant without me having to try too hard (which is always a plus!) I order the 16W and 18W as a backup and ended up wishing I had the 14W because it was loose around the middle and even in the chest (where I am a 42G). I'd advise getting your normal size and then one smaller as a backup.

I wore this for a themed party. It was larger than expected but SO comfortable! It gives just a little. It is a bit darker in detail than the stock photo but cute none the less.

I loved the detail on this dress. The 14W was a little big but the fabric still draped very nicely. I received several compliments.

This dress is amazing. I rented for the 1920s feel. It is glam in a subtle way. I wore it to a black tie fundraiser with strappy sandals and the LuLu Frost earrings, and I had a 1920s reminiscent hairstyle. No one else had anything like this at the event. I felt beautiful and comfortable. The next morning, I wore the dress to church with a jean jacket and flats. No shape wear or special bra needed! This dress fit very large. I am normally a 16/18 and the 14 fit quite comfortably. RTR graciously overnights me the smaller size! I would've gone down to a 12 for a more fitted look. The dress hits at the knee, so it is modest enough and not uncomfortable when sitting. I would love to buy this dress, that's how much I loved it. Thanks RTR!!

This dress was such a great surprise! The material is so soft and comfortable, so it will be great for a summer party. There is a bit of metallic shine to it and the patter is really intricate and interesting, which makes it a fun look for a party. The shift is great for the summer and the material is stretchy, as well. You can wear a standard bra with it and you don't need any shapewear. There is a bit of a more casual vibe with this style, but you can easily dress it up with some accessories. This style is great for any body type. I would definitely rent this style for a summer event!

This was my 2nd choice of dress as my original was "unavailable" 2 days before my event - I SUGGEST YOU CHOOSE A BACK UP! But this worked out great! It fit well, I was honestly worried it wouldn't be big enough as I sometimes have trouble finding a dress that fit. This dress had some stretch and was extremely comfortable and flattering!! My event was 20s themed and this was perfect! Would absolutely rent it again.

Wore this for my friend's Gatsby themed 30th birthday party! It dit perfectly with the theme, and I got a ton of compliments. The party was in December and the velvety fabric seemed appropriate for the time of year.

Our local museum held a Gatsby themed fundraiser and I wanted to dress the part. The dress was nice enough and fit well, but the texture and pattern were nearly indistinguishable in photos.

This was my "backup" dress for my niece's wedding. It was the suggestion of Kate, my RTR stylist, for my backup dress. And it was perfect, because the dress I chose didn't fit. It was fun and flirty and I got lots of compliments about it. The fabric is shimmery and light and feels great. Take caution with your jewelry choices, though. The mesh and baubles will catch sometimes on jewelry with beading and gems. I found this out the hard way.

I rented this for a benefit cocktail party and it certainly fit the part! The look in real life and he fabric is a bit more on the casual side but I dressed it up with some sparkly earrings. The dress was very soft and comfortable. I ended up wearing one size down from my normal and the top was still baggy, which was fixed by adding a belt. It would probably be very flattering on more top-heavy ladies. Overall very pleased!

I love the details of this dress and how comfortable it felt. It has some stretch to it, well lined, and no special undergarments needed (except of course the standard Spanx). My event required a 3.5 hour round trip drive, and I didn't mind wearing it the entire evening (I'm the girl who changes into comfy clothes as soon as possible). It looks like it has some metallic accents, but it's the way the black and blue overlay looks on the lining. Very nice dress and I would definitely choose it again!

I thought the dress was very flattering. My true size is typically between 16-18. I went with the 18 just for a bit more comfort. The dress was very pretty and easy to wear. I didn't find the dress to be as striking as it was in the picture but still pretty. I liked the dress but I wasn't in love with it like some of my other RTR dresses. I would suggest this dress for a winter event rather than summer.

This Julia Jordan dress had some good stretch to it, so the 20 fit well. I normally wear a size 18, but in a form-fitting or a sheath dress, which this is, I always size up to a 20. I am glad I did so with this dress, but there was so much forgiveness, I may have been able to do the size 18. There was a bit of extra room with this, but not so much as to be noticeable. Very comfortable, and the detail was gorgeous. I received many compliments. It was not quite as dressy/festive as I expected, so I felt slightly underdressed, but not too much. The detail was so pretty in the picture, that I was expecting more bling or shine or something. But it is very muted and understated. However, the detail does show up well in photos!

The dress I originally ordered had been returned damaged so this was a substitute dress they sent. I actually liked it better than the original one! It fit great, I added the belt to give it a little more definition rather than the shift style, all my accessories I had picked out still worked because the color was similar to the one I had chosen. Overall very happy with this rental and would do it again!

Loved this dress - it was comfortable and fit good for my hourglass shape. I have a large bust and it fit well. It was slightly loose overall though. Wish it was slightly more dressy.

I am 7 months pregnant so my review is a little different. I was looking for a fun short dress for a Gatsby themed outdoor wedding. This dress was great and I fit right in. It does have plenty of stretch, which is what I was looking for. You can wear any type of undergarments. I could have gone a size smaller but didn't want to risk it with my baby bump. I do feel like it runs a little large. I measured and went with the size 20. With the amount of stretch in the dress you could probably wear a size smaller. The colors are pretty and allow to wear many options for shoes. I would definitely recommend this dress!

This dress is so comfortable. But also perfect for a semi formal wedding. I loved it and got so many compliments.

First time attending the annual formal event held by a non-profit with which I’m involved. A student of mine in a sorority said she always rents because of the number of formals she has yearly. I hit the site and was shocked at how many wonderful dresses, styles, colors, and sizes were available—and the prices were stupid amazing. Had such a good time choosing dress after dress, then narrowing the field. Wish there were more events to attend! So easy and affordable—THANK you!

The dress is beautiful and looked great on me. It was very comfortable to wear. I highly recommend this dress. The only issue I have is not with the dress, but with the fact that you cannot search for dresses in 14W. Very few are available in this size and it is difficult to find them.

This dress surprised me. It's actually really light and almost mesh like. Great on curvy girls and nice and conservative for work events and such. Easily dressed up or down, comfortable and easy to move in.
