I loooved this dress and wore the *** out of it! There's a trick though! To have it look the best, and not overly Bunchie or saggy around your metal, move all of the fabric gathers to the back. It's a drawstring, so you can make the front fairly smooth, and have most of the folds around your back, which creates a really lovely effect. It's a beautiful color and so well-made. I wish I could buy it!

Arms are a bit snug but everything else is perfect. Loved it.

I did not take the best picture of this dress, but I really loved it and will most certainly rent it again. It's silk (unlined) and it flows nicely when walking or moving around. The waist is a little oversized. I did not try to cinch it as tightly as possible, because that sort of messed up the look of the dress. I just let it hang loose around the middle and be easy breezy. The French cuffs are a great touch for contrast.

The largeness of the waist is intentional so that it can be gathered for a really funky look. I got loads of compliments when I wore it to work-even "Doesn't she look like she just stepped off the runway?!" If they only knew...

Runs a little large, but is meant to be flowy not bodycon. Perfect dress for work to cocktails. Constant compliments. Beautiful orange color. Tailoring and construction of this dress is sublime. Contrasting pattern on cuffs and color. Perfect example of an expensively crafted garment.

the dress is really nice, but runs big. I ordered size 8 but it was way too big on my hips. even the belt did not work. sadly sending it back

It fits a little large in the waist, but the waist tie allows you to cinch it to just the right level for you. I received MANY compliments every time I wore it. Easily transitions from work to social events to special occasions. The great detail on the underside of the collar and sleeves elevated the look so it felt expensive. It would probably be too long if you were shorter. I wore this many, many times and would rent again.

I've rented it twice; just right for an easygoing night out or dinner party in. Sticks to your legs a bit but perfect for both spring and winter (over tights). LOVE the French cuffs. Will likely rent again!

Wonderful fabric, light and the belt assures it's not shapeless. Great length for 5'9". Loved the use of patterns in the sleeve. The sleeves were a bit short for me, which made them tight at the bottom (what was supposed to land on the wrist ended up being a bit higher), but - opening the one wrist button makes the sleeve too wide for a fold that stays. So could be a bit annoying for strong/thick/long forearms (or great if you have slightly shorter arms)

except - a lot of static cling. Also, the one I had was showing a little wear around some of the button holes. But, cute and comfortable - followed other commenter advice and had most of the gathers in the back.

The way the waist ties is pretty odd, and a couple of the buttons were a bit loose, but the dress it ultimately quite nice. It's a bit sheer so a slip is useful, but it ultimately did the job at an afternoon party celebrating a grandparent in in-between not-summer-not-fall September weather!

It is a big dress but designed to be loose and unstructured. I wore with booties and left the waist a bit loose. It's very comfortable for those days when loose is better. I felt comfy but still stylish.
