This was one of three dresses I rented in my unlimited shipment and the least of my favorites via the pictures but turned out to be my favorite by far on. This dress is so comfortable and gorgeous, the fit was perfect for my hourglass shape and I felt so gorgeous in it. It smooths while not diminishing curves and is honestly one of my favorite things I've ever worn. LOVE this dress!!

Very classy elegant look! I loved wearing this dress!! It is a very forgiving fit, ruffles hide the tummy but snug at the booty so it's flattering to your figure! Super comfortable to dance, walk, and sit in. I would 100% recommend this dress. The only thing I'd suggest, which I did, is use fashion tape to secure the ruffles where you want them to lay on the neckline so they don't flop around and look messy, as you can see in photos of other reviews.

Ruffles are very flattering and help give the form fitting some flare and shape. Even with 3 inch heels the dress dragged a little on me. Loved the color and got tons of compliments at the gala I wore this to.

I absolutely loved this dress! It was stretchy so I could've gone down a size but it was comfortable and striking! I got so many compliments at my niece's wedding! I actually never would have chosen it from the site but had to as a backup option since the dress I originally ordered didn't fit. I was so very glad that happened because this was the best dress ever!!

Make sure it's a good fit otherwise you can get lost in this dress by the ruffles. I'm 5'8", 145lbs, 36B and I could've worn the 6 or 6L. I ordered the 8L and had to belt it because it was a tad big in the waist. This dress is best with a snug fit. I loved it!

The dress was a little low cut but the ruffles covered me up nicely. I have found that the long dresses from RTR run a bit too long but the shorter hemline in the front of the dress made it perfect! Everyone complimented me and the photo does not do it justice.

This dress was AMAZING! Wore it for a Mardi Gras ball....hands down the most comfortable dress I have ever worn! Gorgeous color, flattering fit (accentuated the good spots and hid the bad ones!! ) Tons of compliments all night. Rent the Runway hit this one out of the park.....thank you!

The color was gorgeous; it was kind of a mix between a jewel tone and maroon. The fabric was thick and great quality/hold, without being heavy or too hot. It is very low-cut, especially for those of us with a larger chest, so I just pinned a ruffle over like some other reviewers had suggested. The ruffles across the front were perfect for flattering my figure, while allowing me to go about my night never worrying about what my tummy looked like in the dress. I got TONS of compliments on this dress!

Absolutely obsessed with this beautiful dress!!!! I wish I had a full length photo because this barely does the dress justice. I wore this to a black tie winter wedding and am so sad to give it back. The dress is stunning and so fun with the ruffles. It felt a little large in the waist but I don't think I would have sized down, it fit pretty well. The top is low cut so I wore sticky boobs. Paired the dress with rent the runway kate spade earrings as well. Highly recommend!!

I'm 5'6", 180lbs., 36G bust, and wore 3" heels with this dress, it hung about 1"off the floor, which is great because I was in no danger of tripping as I don't normally wear heels. I'd say I'm normally a size 12 and a 10R fit like a glove. It was very comfortable and gave me great cleavage without a bra, which is something I rarely get to do with my bust size and especially considering my breasts aren't very firm. I would love to own this dress, and highly recommend it for ladies with similar shapes. I rented this for a company holiday party and got lots of compliments that I was bangin! It's a beautiful rich jewel tone wine color that nobody else was wearing. I was dancing all night and did get sweaty, the fabric is thick enough to hide some lumps but still flowy and forgiving. Recommend sizing down especially if you are somewhat between sizes like me. My backup dress was a different style by Jay Godfrey in 10R and I could not get it to zip, it was much tighter and for more narrow body types.

I received so many compliments in this dress. Had to pin the bust area because it was extremely low cut but that didn't take away from the compliments. Paired with gorgeous floral pumps from Ted Baker and I couldn't have been happier with the result.

I am usually a 4-6 and so those are the 2 sizes I got... I definitely think I could have fit a 2 though. The 4 didn't look big, and no one else could tell, but I had a bit of fabric that could have been taken in. It is definitely extremely low-cut, so be aware of that. I wore it for a Murder Mystery Party set in the Wild West and got quite a few compliments on it. It was comfortable, but also pretty heavy. I wouldn't recommend this dress for an outdoor summer wedding. It was hot, and I was indoors in the Fall. I would rent again though but would get the smaller size next time!

Didn't wear, boobies are too heavy while breastfeeding and could not keep them contained in this dress. I love it so much will definitely rent when chest is back to a normal size.

Very slimming on my pear shaped body! It highlighted my curves well. Was looking for a black tie outfit what screamed fall. Paired it with dramatic hair and makeup and got many compliments!

The fit was great. Super comfortable and really flattering. No shapewear needed. I'm curvy and the ruffles complimented without adding bulk. Straps stayed in place. I used a safety pin, like other renters, to reduce the exposed cleavage - easy hidden in the ruffles. The dress was slightly long, but not enough to be a problem.

I had two people separately ask me to pose for the Flamingo Dancing Woman emoji on the iphone. It was easy to dance it and eat in. There is some stretch to the dress. RTR did not have my original dress size, a 6 which would have fit me a little better, but the 8 worked. I normally wear a 4 dress size in Banana Republic, and a 4-6 in Boston Proper if that helps to compare.

Thank you to all the reviewers - this dress does run large so I rented the 4R. It was a perfect fit and I didn't bother with fashion tape since the top fitted snug and didn't move around. The length was little long, even though I wore 3" heels - only my friend stepped on it! The style was fun yet formal, the fabric was heavy (not cheap) but not heavy (not weighing me down). Loved it! Many compliments. I highly recommend!

This dress is shockingly so flattering and hides everything. Creates a beautiful hourglass shape. I'm an 8/10, and this size was slightly loose, but I believe the 8 would have been too tight. The material also stretches a little. However, the Dress is fully lined and that made materials back so it's a warm dress. Best for fall or winter, or if you're in climate controlled environment. Unfortunately, not for an outdoor wedding above 85 degrees. I ended up wearing an alternate style.

I was nervous about this dress because it is out of the norm for me, but that also made it exciting. It was exactly what I was looking for! The fit was great. The length was perfect. It was very comfortable. I got tons of compliments. The only thing I will say, which other reviewers said is, it is cut very low; however one very well hidden safety pin in the ruffles and I had the perfect amount of sexy!

I looooooved this dress! I rented the dress for a wedding where I really wanted to impress and make a statement. I have a hourglass figure and am very busy. I knew that I would start my cycle around the time of the wedding unfortunately, so I wanted something comfortable in case I felt bloated. Just keeping it real on here. :) The dress made me feel beautiful and glamorous. It masks your tummy, fits like a glove, and is a heavy fabric quality dress. Also, if you're very busty like me - you can totally wear a bra. Regardless of your bust size, this dress will show cleavage and had a deep v cut. I wore a bra and had a ton of cleavage but thought it looked beautiful. The color is flattering. This is my first RNT rental, and I am extremely impressed with the quality. I went to the store to get fitted in the same designer for sizing (they didn't have this exact style), and I was told 12L, but the 10L fit me beautifully without any issues. I'm glad I got the size down, read the reviews, and went with my gut. I got tons of compliments all night. With the exception of the bride, I had one of the best dresses at the wedding!

If you have an hourglass figure or curves, this is the dress for you. Super flattering, comfortable, gorgeous color (bright plum), perfect for any season- just by changing accessories. It's a showstopper. I didn't have to wear a bra and everything stayed in place. You will get tons of compliments- guaranteed.

Ok, this is not for those who are modest. You have to know the cleavage is going to be out there with this dress. But, this was such a comfortable dress to wear. Wore it for 6 hours straight. TONS of compliments. It was very flattering for my hourglass figure. Would definitely rent again.

This was my first RTR experience. I would have never selected this dress as my back-up if not for the outstanding reviews. But as soon as I tried it on, it was immediately "the one". Thank you RTR community! Miraculously, the ruffles don't add unwanted volume to your shape. Instead, they accentuate your curves in all the right places and disguise imperfections. The bodice fit perfectly (with the help of Spanx). I am tall (5'11") and ordered the 12 Long. It was just barely long enough with me in heels. My only warning is that the dress is very low cut in the front. More than I was expecting or comfortable with. All of my bras showed. So I safety pinned the ruffle together. Problem solved! I highly recommend this dress.

Dress does have a little stretch to it. 10 fit well but would be curious how an 8 would’ve fit. Matieral and color is beautiful. Received a ton of compliments. I think this dress is flattering for all body types.

The first dress I rented didn’t fit so I exchanged it for this one in store. Let me just say that I have a pretty small chest (34B). If this dress can give me cleavage, it must be magic! It was comfortable and sexy, but still sophisticated. If I’d had more time to look for one, I think the dress would have looked awesome with a nice drop-down necklace. My husband told me a few days after the event, “Everyone was looking at you and it made me jealous but proud to be with you.” I think that pretty much sums up my feelings on this dress!

This is the prettiest dress! The color is a beautiful jewel color. It is not very burgundy. It was so Comfortable and glamorous! I loved wearing it to the wedding I attended!

It was very flattering, comfortable, and I didn't need a bra. I loved the front to back hemline and didn't have to worry about tripping. It was elegant, but also easy to dance in.

The moment my stylist (Lee) and I saw this dress, we knew it was gonna be amazing on me (and it was!). I'm so glad I went with the 12L for the length as it flowed so beautifully.
