I hosted a cocktail party in the city and although it wasn't necessarily a formal affair I wanted to be sure I looked my best at my own event. This was the perfect dress for that. It's classy and chic but not too much, good fit, good material, great color. Both the 2 and 4 fit but I liked it a little tighter (although my friend had to zip me!). Would rent again!

I rented this dress for a wedding in South Carolina in late April. I weigh 135-140, athletic build and I'm 5'7. I ordered the 4 and the 6, tried on the 4 first and it was perfect--I wanted it to be very form-fitting but not to the point where it looked too small on me. When I stood up from sitting I would pull it down but other than that it did not ride up when walking or dancing. I'm a 34A and the chest region of the dress was slightly looser than the rest of the dress but it didn't bother me whatsoever. Wore it with 4" nude strap heels, gold earrings and watch, and carried a small gold clutch. The color of the dress was very pretty, I received many compliments. This dress makes your bum look awesome, too.

A fun dress! I rented sizes 2 and 4, and ended up going with size 2 because the top fit better even though it was a little tight around the waist. The dress is pretty narrow around the knees, so it's not a great dress if you plan on dancing.

I ordered this dress for my engagement photo shoot. It was beautiful and fir true to size! One thing to note that it does hug your curves so if this is something you are not comfortable with, this may not be your dress.

It was perfect but don't expect to wear a bra with it. Color was fabulous. Everything was perfect as this was a destination wedding so it was a perfect dress to wear to a beach wedding.

Another wonderful experience. This dress is awesome. It is super flattering- I really think any size can pull it off. I'm super curvy and have a c section tummy and felt super comfy in this along with my tried and true spanks. There is some slight side boob action. You could potentially go bra less. I did some sticky boobs that I got off amazon. For reference, I am 5'5 175lbs. Color was great. Quality was perfect. Felt comfy to dance/sit/move/etc...

I got so many compliments on this dress. It for like a glove. I'm usually a 0 or a 2 but I was able to try this on at the NYC flagship store and the 0 fit perfectly. The color is amazing and something I would never buy so renting was perfect.

I wore this to a cocktail party at my kids school. I felt very pretty- got multiple compliments. It's very fitted (not forgiving if you have a bigger midsection- spanks are helpful). There is a small sheer part , but it's tasteful. Beautiful vibrant color. I stood out in a sea of black dresses.

Dress was very comfortable. Bra required--I used a stick-on bra. Only problem was that there was no slit at bottom of dress, so it restricted my taking big steps and climbing stairs quickly--this wasn't too much of a bother, though. The color is a true peacock blue. Fabric is great quality. Material is pretty stretchy. All around great pick!!!

Color looked fantastic and really popped, and the cut of the dress was sexy, without being inappropriate (wore it to a formal work event). There was a little extra room in the bust, so I had to wear a strapless bra to ensure the dress fit properly.

I wore this in February for my 35th birthday night out: fancy dinner & cocktails downtown with girlfriends and dancing afterwards! I felt fantastic and it's incredibly flattering. Gorgeous color.

I normally wear a 10 but unfortunately the 12 was the only one available at the NYC store. However this dress was still amazing just had a slightly looser fit. I felt amazing and looked pretty fantastic. One word of caution to my fellow big chested sisters. I'm a 34DD/32 DDD and I had to tape the heck out of the girls to keep them in. Granted I was wearing a size bigger than normal so that may have been a cause of some of it. I did not wear a bra but used sticky tape to lift and keep everything in place. Overall I'd definitely rent the dress again!

Dress fit true to size and I was fine without a bra (36C). I did use spanx for the first time ever underneath to smooth everything out/prevent VPLs, and they worked well with the dress. Great color! Got tons of compliments! Would rent again!

I wear a 2, and it fits true to size. Works with any nude strapless bra, and easy to dance in. Tons of compliments!

I rented the size 4 and 6 and ended up wearing the size 6. The four fit but was tight and I wanted a little more room for dancing, drinking and eating. The dress was very comfortable and the fabric was thick enough that it did not show under garments underneath. A strapless bra was fine and fully covered by the dress. At 5'9" the length hit right below my knees. I received a lot of compliments throughout the night and the color was a lot of fun! I wore the dress with Sarah Magid sunset earrings from RTR and they matched really well.

This dress was more of a teal/turquoise color in person. Right fit yet classy with little stretch to the dress. Got many compliments loved the see through parts of the dress. Length hit a little below the knee but I was still able to dance in it. Wore a strapless bra without issues. I got many compliments loved this dress would rent again!

This dress fit well, and I received tons of compliments. It does sort of bunch up though near the mesh.

Very narrow fit. Great for cocktail hour and you feel like a show-stopper. It was tough to dance in because it is narrow at the knee - that is the only con.

Great dress in a beautiful color (darker than expected but I loved it). Very form-fitting (undergarments were a no-go) but fabric is substantial and supportive. Conservative but the sheer parts added a bit of interest. Got lots of compliments and would definitely recommend! Size 2 fit perfectly (5'5", 127lbs, 34C, hourglass/athletic figure). Wish I had gotten a better picture than this one that doesn't really do it justice.

Fit like a glove and a great choice for an outdoor spring wedding! The sheerness wasn't over the top but gave it a unique twist. Easy to move and dance in and didn't wrinkle!

I wore this to an award ceremony and it was perfect. Love love love :) Definitely had to take small steps though.

The dress fit beautifully

This dress was gorgeous on. Fit like a glove and the color was amazing! I wore this to a friends wedding Rehearsal at the church and Rehearsal dinner. Was a total hit. This is one of my favorite rentals from RTR. Will rent this dress again! Its a showstopper, don't hesitate to rent!

I rented two dresses for a friends black tie wedding and ended up choosing the floor length dress. I loved the other dress but did regret my decision because this dress is amazing (and would have been better for dancing). Fits true to size. Can't wait for another wedding weekend so I can re-rent this stunner!

This dress was a show stopper. I'm so happy with my rental. 100% recommend for anyone else. Unfortunately, this picture doesn't show how awesome it was.

This dress fit snug with little give. It is very comfortable and wears very nicely. I paired this dress with a pair of nude stilettos and a pair of turquoise marbled Kendra Scott earrings. I also chose a summer tangerine lipstick for an extra pop against the dress. I kept my eyeshadow neutral. I am on the short side, so the dress goes past my knees, but I feel like that adds to the drama. The cutouts and net fabric are very nice and are elegant and not at all too much. Great dress.

Loved the color, fit was snug (I was between the 2 and 4 but wanted room for cake so I opted for the 4), cut was gorgeous and the material was very comfortable. The only issue I had with this dress was that it was a tiny bit big on the top but I got away with it. Probably a better fit for B/C size boobs.

Color and fit were great. Runs true to size as well - fit into my usual size perfectly. Many other renters complained about the bottom of the dress making it hard to walk in, but I didn't have that problem since the fabric is stretchy. The only thing worth making note of (especially if renting for a wedding), is how easily spilled water or drinks show up on this fabric (even the smallest drops). Other than that - great dress!

Let it be known that short girls can rock the hell out of this dress! I'm 5'2 and wore this to my brother-in-law's wedding and it fit like a glove! I see what people are saying in reviews about it being tight at the bottom, but it's also elastic. I did a lot of moving around in this dress and walking up and down stairs and it stayed looking flawless! It hugs you in all of the right spots, but definitely requires some good posture. Got a ton of compliments and I'm pretty sure my husband wants me to rent it again. Loved it!!!

I loved this dress. The cut outs are stretchy which makes them super comfortable. The length was perfect for a wedding, not too short! I wore the 6 because I felt like the area around the rib cage fit better even though the 4 zipped up just fine, I'm so glad I sized up here. The area in the bust felt a tad big but if I stood up straight it felt a lot better.

Great color and fit. Runs true to size and the material was not too thin. It was a little hard to walk in since the bottom was narrow. Overall it was a perfect dress for a wedding.

Dress was beautiful and fit great. Only minor issue was that the straps were too long for me, so I had to pin them. Easy fix, and looked great. I rented this for a black tie wedding and was a little concerned it wouldn't be fancy enough, but it certainly was. I would definitely rent this again.

I wore this dress to a spring wedding. The color is very bright and stands out. It was also very comfortable, but because it's tight around the knees, it makes it a bit difficult to walk quickly. Aside from that, I would definitely rent again!

I ordered the 4 and the 6 and ended up wearing the 6. Since it was so form-fitting, trying to zip it up near the 2 sheer panels was extremely difficult and since I had a little more wiggle room in the 6, it made it a little easier to zip and unzip. Was able to wear a strapless bra without being seen and had to make sure to stand up straight and suck in all night. The color and length of the dress was perfect! It was great for a summer wedding. The sheer panels really added to the dress, giving it a little something extra without showing too much.

Got this dress for a date and loved it. It fit well on an hourglass figure, hugged me a little in the stomach and behind but it still looked good. The bottom hem of the dress isn't very flexible so I had to take small steps. Was very satisfied with this choice!

LOVE LOVE LOVE. The material was a perfect mix of control (keep everything in its place) and free (though tight it has plenty of give). I was able to dance all night and didn't feel limited. The only time I struggled a bit with the narrow bottom was walking UP a grand staircase. I typically air on the side of a looser fitting dress as well as neutral colors however this color was magic. I felt like this dress is classy with its length but has a little sass with its fit. Perfect for a formal wedding.

I don't even know where to start... The fabric is so stretchy but with an expensive feel. The lining is silky soft. I danced all night in this dress! I normally wear a 2 and the 2 fit like a glove! There is no forgiveness as far as what it shows - stand straight and keep that stomach sucked in! Pros: color is incredible - no one had that color on! Shows off your curves like a champ. So comfortable! The sheer panels were perfect to give the dress a modern feel but it was still conservative (not overly sexy to be inappropriate). The halter top and lower back showed off my arms just right - loved all the lines! Cons: it's a tight pencil skirt all the way to your calves. Be prepared to take small steps. You have to have great posture to pull off this dress. Stand straight and suck that tummy in all night. I have pretty much an A cup so the top was a tiny bit big on me. I absolutely loved this dress - I looked amazing! My favorite rental so far!
