No need for a bra, tight around the waist and hips. I am 5’5” and wore 3 1/2” heels, it was the perfect length.

This dress is GORGEOUS. It was perfect for a formal (late fall) wedding. The mesh detail added the perfect amount of spice to an otherwise traditional choice. The material is substantial and rich; it hangs beautifully and hugs all the right places. At 5'4" (plus 4" heels), the regular length barely skimmed the floor.

This dress has def been my favorite rental to date. It fits like a glove, has a little stretch, and I can't say enough about the fabric. I highly recommend this gown and would even rent again for myself.

Fit beautifully. I'm 56 and the dress was on the youthful side of age appropriate.

The dress fit well. It's stretchier than you'd expect. It was form fitting, but I was still able to move easily. I had compliments all night and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Super flattering yet comfortable fit

Absolutely LOVED this dress. Will 100% rent again and will buy if it goes to the clearance room. I wore this to a formal gala and opted for the 6L because we had a full 4 course meal prior to the evening of dancing/etc. Just wanted a little wiggle room. The 4L was obviously a bit more snug around the hips but it has a stretchy material to it so it hugs everything up and in! I would recommend your normal size and one size down for this dress. I am 5'9" and worse 3in heels with the bottom still grazing the floor. It was flawless. I received compliments all night! Highly recommend!

I absolutely loved this dress! This was my first experience with RTR and I can honestly say it was a good one! I was worried it wouldn't come in in time or wouldn't fit but everything worked out perfectly! I'm 5'6, 145 with broad shoulders from swim and wore the 4L. It was quite long, even with 4-5 inch heels on, so if i ordered again I would probably get the 4R. The material was awesome, not too stretchy but also not too stiff. Overall I loved the dress and how flattering it was. It was very form fitting so if you have love handles or something you're not a fan of it would show them off but other than that this dress rocks! Would definitely rent again!

Fit like a glove

Wonderful dress for my medical school prom! I was worried I would have to size up because the dress is very sleek and I have wider hips, but there was just enough stretch for me to go with my normal size. I tucked in the mesh strap because I thought it looked better then used some double sided tape to hold everything in place. Watch out for the tiny hanger straps, sometimes they fall down and you can see them under the middle mesh part. All in all, a fantastic dress that got me compliments all night.

The fit of the dress was great. I am 5'3 and usually wear a size 2. I would have felt more comfortable in the 2, but the 2R was too long with the 4 inch heels that I had for the dress so I had to wear the 0R. The OR still fit perfectly, it just was a tad tight for my style but it all worked out great. This was my first RTRW experience and it was SOOO GREAT!! I cannot praise this company and this particular dress enough!!

My daughter wore this to her Junior/Senior prom. It fit like a glove.... Very comfortable and extremely well made.

Received compliments all evening. The 8L was a great fit, I did have to wear shoes with a bit of a platform to keep the dress from dragging the ground. Probably could have gotten away with the 8R.

I rented this dress for my senior prom, and it literally fit like a glove. It was super comfortable to dance the night away in, and I felt like Audrey Hepburn. It was the perfect dress to make a statement without being too over the top. The dress definitely fit true to size, and the regular length was perfect with three inch heels. Loved this dress so much, even some guys were going out of their way to tell me they loved it!

This dress is really comfortable and easy to walk in. It runs true to size! I am normally a 0 or 2. They both fit but the 2 was a little more comfortable. I am 5' 4" and the 2 regular was not too long with 4 inch heels. Overall such a comfy, gorgeous dress!

Got the 4 and the 6 and the 4 fit well. It was a little snug where the regular fabric met the mesh near the bottom of my chest, but nothing, but sizing up would have been too big everywhere else. Truly a gorgeous dress, I got compliments all night!

I was worried about my bra situation. With having a larger chest, my strapless bra showed through the underneath chest part. I ended up going without (which NEVER happens) and I still felt great. I'm 5'4 and with heels the long was just a tad on the long side but I would rather have it be too long than too short. This dress had stretch in the hip area so I didn't feel constricted. Overall a great experience and I would definitely rent this dress again.

I typically wear a 2 or a 4 in dresses depending on the length. I ordered a 2L and a 4R. The 4 and 2 fit pretty similar in as far as the bust and waist went. I ended up wearing the 2L because of the length. I wanted to wear a little bit of a heel, and the 4R was a little too short for heels. I loved the dress and got many compliments.

It's a very flattering dress. It's true to fit, and body forming. I felt really beautiful in it. Good for a formal/cocktail events.

I went into the store to pickup another dress. Tried it on and hated it. The RTR stylist in store suggested this dress among others to try on. This dress fit like a glove! I have a small waist with larger hips/butt and the stretch of the dress made me look amazing! I would definitely rent from RTR again. The next I just dropped the dress in the UPS box enroute to the airport!

What started as a RTR fail turned in to a win. The wrong order was sent to me, but after a minor panic attack customer service saved the day and arranged for me to choose a brand new look at the RTR showroom in Las Vegas. I'm normally a solid size 2, BUT this dress is a bit snug in the hips, so I chose to go with the 4R. Wore 3 1/2 heels and I'm 5'2". Paired it with the DVF evil eye clutch. Felt amazing all night! Definitely recommended :)

This dress is stretchy, so the 2 fit like a glove. I didn't get hot at all wearing this dress even though it feels heavy from the material.

I rented this for my 15-year-old daughter. The size she wanted wasn't available so we went one size up and used safety pins to make the top area smaller. The style was beautiful and she loved it.

True to size. Fit like a glove. The sheer cut outs were placed in the perfect spots to flatter any size. I have an athletic body but I have a tummy. This made me look long and lean. Loved it!! Fabric is heavy and hides flaws rather than accentuating them. Great choice for this black tie occasion !

I rented this dress for a black tie wedding in Florida. I wanted a classic black dress a Florida feel... It was perfect although being 5'2 the 0R was very long even with 4 inch heels, I almost stepped on it all night but it was fine, I just hiked it up dancing or walking longer distances. The hips/stomach area was a bit big and my strapless bra peeked out a bit from the top and under the top cut out but other than that the overall feel was just what I wanted! RTR is my go-to for black tie weddings for sure.

Loved this dress, but too short to wear with heels. I am 5'5". Other than that fit was perfect. I didn't wear, but would rent in a long length. Very comfortable.

This was a last minute swap. I'm usually a 4 but all they had was a 6 and it really fit pretty well, especially in the bust (I'm a 34D). Didn't need a bra at all with the way the dress was constructed in that area. The cut was very flattering.

Ladies with fuller hips - size up! I have pear body shape and found that my true size 4 fit snug in the hips and waist! I definitely recommend sizing up in your back up size, especially if you have an hourglass or pear figure. The bust in this gown fit well and would work for all bust sizes, but note that the sheer strap and back cut out does not allow room for a standard bra, so I recommending using a seamless adhesive bra or silicone nipple cover ups. While the size 4 worked, I recommend going one size up for that extra bit of comfort! Otherwise- this will definitely be a showstopper at your next event!
