I rented this for my daughter (in picture). She’s 5’4”/124 lbs/34B. The size 4 dress fit her well and she wore it to a formal event. I tried it on and it fit me well also.

This dress is a stunner. The slit is not too high, it fits like a glove, and I felt so confident all night in it. Perfect date night dress

I wore this dress for a dinner date and I loved it. The length is modest but the slit makes it really sexy. The dress had enough structure to hold everything in, and enough support up top that I didn’t need to wear a bra. The bust is fairly low cut and the back is a racerback so finding the right bra would have been tricky. Would definitely rent again!

I wanted to look sexy for my birthday outing since I've been sitting at home wearing leggings all day, every day. I was nervous about how this dress would fit but after reading reviews, I went with my usual clothing sizes of 2 and 4. After trying both on, the 2 definitely hugged my curves better, and I went with that! I have larger breasts (32DDD) and I didn't have to wear a bra! You could definitely try to wear a racerback bra, but I think with the correct size, a bra is not necessary. The slit was definitely high, and I'm shorter, but I was never uncomfortable with it, even sitting down. My biggest "problem area" is my midsection - I couldn't wear Spanx or my normal shapewear due to the slit, but I felt that the dress did a nice job of camouflaging those issues (at least, before my eating and drinking). I received so many compliments on this dress - I will definitely order again for a fancy event.

This dress is amazing! I rent frequently and this has to be one of my favorites! The side slit makes it sexy but it is very comfy. I prob could have worn the two but I wore this to a wedding where I knew I'd be eating, drinking & dancing so I went with the four for comfort. Will rent this one again!

Super tight and sleek fit, which I loved. It felt like it ran a little big, so I wore the four instead of the six. The 6 was loose enough that it rode up as I walked. The slit on the thigh is cut super high( think that moment with Angelina Jolie) so be careful how you sit! It's a little dangerous. But ultimately I loved this dress! I usually wear a 4-6 depending on the fit. Also, didn't need a bra, which is a win.

This dress fit like it was tailored for me! I've had kids so things are a bit 'jiggly'- but the lining on the dress is forgiving. I'm a 36DD and I typically have trouble with having to go up a size. But I didn't have to use the larger size I got as a backup, the 10 worked awesome. I felt like a million bucks and I promise you will turn every head - it's the sexiest dress you'll ever wear. My husband could not stop talking about it. Rent this dress! I wish I could wear it to every event!

Super sexy and comfortable little black dress. The lining is well made and thick, so I didn’t have to wear a bra. I usually wear a 6, but the 8 felt more comfortable around my tummy. The only con is I wore my hair in a low bun and my hair kept getting caught on the clasp at the top of the zipper, other than that I highly recommend!!

Yaaaasss!!! Instant purchase! This dress was amazing and made me feel amazing! It has just the right amount of stretch to hug all your curves in just the right way but the slit allows it to hang straight where you need it. Nice weight of fabric, feels and looks expensive but it's soooo comfortable. Best LBD ever! If you want sexy curves, this is the dress for you, size up if you want to be more conservative but I suggest you get it snug, it's very forgiving

If you need a little black dress - this is it. I normally wear a 6, but sized up to an 8. 6 was tight in the hips, 8 was a little loose in the back and chest. But more comfortable. Very slimming aesthetic.

This was the perfect dress for the wedding I attended over the weekend. Comfortable, sexy and just the vibe I was looking for. I probably could have even sized down to get more a fitted look. RTR came in clutch with early delivery and lots of options. Love being able to get a free extra size too just in case. Loved this dress!!

The slit is epic & overall this dress fits like a glove. I wore this for date night at Celestine & out for dinner in Turks & Caicos. If you are in between sizes I would recommend sizing up. It's a sexy dress that you won't regret renting or purchasing.. like me ;)

Super flattering. VERY high slit. Scoop neck perfect for showing off your collarbones and décolleté. Just a little tight in hips for me but it's black so you can't really tell. I got stared at a lot. Wore on a summer night with black platform wedges and a brown leather jacket because it got chilly. Perfect sexy LBD.

Love this dress. I am typically a size 18, but with form fitting things I like to size up which was the right call here! It zipped well, and the scoop neck paired with the high thigh slit was a perfect combination. The dress doesn't have much give/stretch, and it's a back zipper. I found the thigh slit was great for me with my curvier bottom half. It's not super high when walking but when you sit down the slit gets high, forewarning!

It was colder than anticipated the day I wore this so I paired it with a long cardigan duster and it was perfect! Fit great, wore a strapless bc the gap at shoulders showed bra straps.

I'm 5'10 156 lbs for reference and the slit was a but high when sitting down but overall was fine for dancing in. I have a booty and it fit a little tighter there than in my waist but it was so flattering. Definitely a head turner

Made my boobs look great, didnt need a bra, and kept the right areas tucket in. I was in between sizes so the back of the dress bunched up a little on top of my butt, I kept needing to pull it down but it wasnt a deal breaker. A size 0 would require me to lose too much weight (and keep it off), so i purchased the 2 and will deal with pulling to down :)

I wore this for the welcome party of a black tie wedding and it was a very solid choice - the material is thick and feels high quality and the slit spices it up a little. My only complaint is that the neckline wasn't very flattering to my larger chest - I did have some cleavage but I felt like my boobs were spilling out of the sides. That said I wouldn't have wanted to size up, so probably wouldn't rent again for this reason

The top was cut like most of my sports bras so it was a familiar and comfortable fit. I was a little too short for the dress so the top was a bit long on my upper back and I had to adjust/pull down a few times. I looooved the high slit. It may not work for very tall girls tho.

Very fun for a bachelorette party but since it was a dressier affair I went with the other black dress. Loved this wish I had somewhere else to wear it! Just a little large in the bust.

If your aren't truly plus size (wide sizes) either size down or skip this one. I'm usually a 16, but occasionally I'll try a 18/18w depending on the designer. Didn't work this time!

I have curvy hips and felt very comfortable in this dress. Frequently, when I rent from RTR I have to send dresses back because they fit well on top but they are too right in the hips. This dress fit well everywhere! Keep in mind, the slit is very high and the neckline scoops fairly low. I loved wearing this dress!

This dress has a racerback so I needed to wear a criss-cross bra and the front was a bit low. It made me look very curvy but still incredibly classy. A bonus was when the celebrity host on SNL wore it in red the same week for their holiday special. I definitely felt like a star!
