This was a great dress for dancing the night away! I loved the black/navy combo and the pleats were super flattering. This dress is the definition of unfussy, I wore my everyday undergarments and the pleats/length made it comfortable to dance and eat in.

This dress was awesome! i wore it for a fashion show that i styled and it was a great choice considering the fact that the fashion show was outside and at a night i wanted some thing flowy and comfortable that i could wear at night. i added a gold belt to it to give it a casual fall look and work black Mary -Jane heels and bangles this dress is great i would recommend going a size up !

Loved this dress. Very flattering in the torso. On the short side. For me—at 5'5"— it was the perfect length. If I were any taller, I think it would have been uncomfortably short. Would highly recommend to petite people.

Gorgeous fabric, loved the pleated skirt, and conservative neckline. I found the skirt length to be perfect - any longer and the dress would have lost some "sexy". I paired this dress with black tights and black heels and wore to a holiday party. Loved it.

I wore this to my boyfriend's company Christmas party and loved it. I'm 5'7", 130 lbs, and a 32C, and the 4 fit like a dream. The only warning I would give about this dress is that the skirt is slightly sheer, so I wore a slip underneath. Very flattering though!

I ended up not being able to attend the occasion (a Gatsby-themed bridal shower). It would have been a perfect dress! Sadly, the ice storm here in the south prevented me from traveling. But, the dress is great - just beware that it's VERY see through (you'll need spanx and/or slip underneath) and it is truly a short dress. I'm only 5'1" and with my 3" heels, it was quite short on me. I wear a 6 in regular clothes and the 8 in this was just right (snug fitting, but a 10 would have been way too big).

I picked this dress because I thought it would pair well with tights for an early spring classical music concert. It did -- but without tights it would have been WAY too short. I am pretty flat of chest and the 4 fit perfectly, however, I opted for my usual 6 because it feel slightly longer. Overall, cute dress and great first RTR experience. Paired with black tights, black pumps, open black cardigan, and sparkly silver and clear statement necklace.

The fit is consistent with other Jay Godfrey dresses. I does run short, though (and I have short legs).

It fell slightly short on me, and I'm only 5'2" but it is fully lined, so that helped it feel more covered. The details are gorgeous, as is the contrast between navy and black.

The dress fit perfectly and the material hung in a very flattering way. The only problem was that it was much too short to wear to a wedding. It would have been more appropriate for a girls night out.

This dress has navy and black contrasting colors that are more distinct in the person. It fit almost true to size, but I used the larger size out of the two I ordered because of the length and very defined waist line. I loved wearing this dress and feel it could be relatively easily dressed up or down.

I liked this dress. It is a well made dress and keeps everything a mystery (if you know what I mean!) I wore this to my company holiday party and felt very comfortable and classy in it. The shape reminded me of a ballerina. I am only 5 3"- it might be short on taller girls. Pretty, overall.

This dress is nicely made and has great details. I have a fuller chest but it fit nicely (much more filled in than on model). I am also really short so the length wasn't a problem at all. Wore it to a wedding and got lots of compliments. Fun and a little unique.

I rented this dress for an engagement party at a swanky club. Unfortunately, the size 2 for this dress was not available so I had to order a 0 and a 4. The 4 was too big, and the 0 fit well, but I felt it was a bit short for me. I think the size 2 probably would have been perfect!

Wore this to a work event. Cute dress, but the sleeves were way too long--I had to pin them up to avoid that gunnysack chic look. The skirt was fun and cute, but the bodice was just too boxy to carry off--at least on a short frame.

Couldn't exactly fit into this dress. Had to send it back, unworn. It runs pretty small in the chest area.

I loved the pleats and detailing on this dress. It was true to size---the lining, anyway---but the outside, especially the top portion of the dress, sagged a little. Might be better on someone taller or with a longer torso!

The colors kind of melt to gather. It's also a little short. Overall, this is a cute dress, but nothing special.

The detailing on this dress is gorgeous - the photo doesn't really do it justice. However, it is much shorter than it appears in the photo, and if you have wider hips, the skirt doesn't lay flat on the sides like it does on the model. Still a really cute dress though!

The length was too short on me. One thing that I liked about the picture online that doesn't come across as well in person is the black piping on the blue dress- it's actually a pretty dark navy so the contrast isn't all that apparent, but it is still a beautiful dress with nice detailing. I would recommend this for petite body sizes/shorter girls.
