I love this feminine dress by Jay Godfrey! Running true to size with no stretch, I recommend wearing your true size, a size up for your primary size. This style is fitted throughout the midsection and fitted at the hips. It works best for all cup sizes. You are not able to wear a standard bra with this dress so you should wear a strapless bra, nubra or no bra since the cut of dress in the back. At 5"3, the length hit right above the knees on me. I love the color of this dress, it's perfect for Spring and Summer. Pair with a open toe heel or sandal and a cute necklace to complete your outfit!

The fit was a true 6. A little short, I'm 5'7" and it was definitely above my knee I'd say about 2-3 inches. It was breathable and comfortable and just what I needed to host my daughters fourth birthday party !

The dress was perfect the beach wedding. It was very comfortable and light. Fit like a glove. Wearing dresses with longer skirts makes me look a little awkward since i am only 5'3 but this dress was the perfect length....short but not too short. The process to receive and send back was extremely simple and I will definitely be ordering from rent the runway again

I sized up only because they didn't have my size so it was bigger than I would've liked. That said, the blackstrap perfectly covered my bra and helped make the dress look better fitted.

I rented this to wear out and about on the weekend. I didn't read the reviews until after I ordered it and was scared that at 5'9 it would be unwearable bc it would be too short. It is short but wearable with flats. Wearing a bra is impossible but it was true to size and comfy. It was a fun change up in the wardrobe. The color is cute and the unique back is a fun detail.

This dress was perfect for day to night. The back straps were just slightly big on me and the bust a little tight, but overall the ruffle detail and color won me over. Would have given 5 stars but my rental arrived with a tear on the side of the dress.

Rented to wear to a nighttime event but it was raining, so I wore to Mother's Day brunch instead. I wore a cardigan over it to dress down a bit. The color was awesome. I didn't wear a bra.

I loved the shape of the dress and the color, even the material. It's quite a fun dress, I wore it on Easter and i got a lot of compliments on it. My only thing is I'm quite slim and this dress made me look shapely, it even hugged my waist in a way that I looked fuller than I am, also the back strap is thick so it made me look kind of short. I don't think this dress was very flattering, but it was cute and fun, just don't expect to look like the model haha

I ended up wearing another red rented dress that was much more flattering. This dress was sweet, modest but still attractive. Cute open back, but the high neck was a little tight near my armpits. Also not totally forgiving if you have insecurities in your midline. Had this been my only rented dress I would have loved it and worn it: Great for summer or spring wedding

It could look really cute on a petite girl, but on me it looked like I was wearing my younger sisters dress. It was extremely short and the placement of the ruffles made it look more juvenile. Would not recommend if you're tall - if you're small and petite, could look adorable.

This dress was as pictured, but I thought the fabric felt a little cheap. I have a really fair complexion so the color didn't really work on me. Recommend if you are tan it would look great! Dress was true to size

2 fit well but the bust was a little looser than I liked without a bra but I wore a no-back strapless bra and that helped to fill it out fine.

I loved the quality and color of this dress, but in the end did not wear it because it just wasn't very flattering. I ordered a size 10 because many of the review for other Jay Godfrey dresses reported them running small, so I ordered up a size and I shouldn't have for this specific dress. Besides being large in the waist (which is my own fault for ordering a size too large) it was very bulky on the top with all the ruffles. In the end, it's a nice dress but not my cup of tea.

The bag was way too large with the weird strap, but the rest of the dress was short and tight. It didn't look expensive and I didn't wear. I am normally a very standard size 4.

This was SO SHORT! If you are over 5'5, do not rent this dress. I ordered it and laughed because it was basically a shirt on me.
