This is the best little black dress! Fits like a charm and the pockets and back opening make it so special!

This dress was incredibly comfortable and allowed for wearing a normal bra (always a plus!). It also had pockets big enough for my keys and my phone, which were a HUGE plus. Highly recommend and was very sad to see it go.

Loved this dress. Very comfortable and flattering, great for accentuating curves and small waist. I would totally wear again. I felt put together and feminine, but still very cute and comfortable. It was also easy to dance in which is a requirement for me. There was an issue with one strap, it was twisted and sewn on that way. I had to pin it.

A little baggy in the front..consider a size down if you are below a D cup. Perfect length. Comfortable on a hot night. Easy to dance in, I didn't have to readjust my straps constantly. Loved it!

This was a great dress for a ball I attended, received compliments all night long! I rented a S and XS and ended up wearing the S. The waist has little to no give but was comfortable to sit in.

Loved this dress so much and got so many compliments! Wish I was able to buy it! I am 5'4" and wore a medium, it was the perfect length. The adjustable straps were very convenient, although I kept having to tighten them. Not a huge deal though! The zipper was pretty difficult to get all the way zipped up but I managed to make it happen. Overall, I would rent this dress again in a heartbeat.

True to size. small was big on the chest for me. Little trouble with the zipper but with force, it was fixed.

I rented this dress to wear at a bachelorette party in Charleston. The dress was SO comfortable and flattering. I usually wear a size 4 and I rented both the small and extra small. I ended up wearing the extra small because it fit better in the waist. I loved that I could wear a regular strapless bra with this dress even though it had a cut out back.

This was my favorite rental from RTR thus far! I ordered both the x-small and the small and ended up wearing the x-small. Even at 4 months pregnant, it fit like a glove. There was plenty of room for my belly, yet it was tight enough in all the right places. AMAZING dress!

I don't have a well-defined waist so the Medium was a little too snug where the zipper is in the back. The Large fit very well. The open low back is cute and the dress has pockets! I wore a strapless bra and it did not show. I have a smaller bust but since the dress had adjustable straps, the large fit fine on top. It was a great choice!

Great dress for a bachelorette party! Comfortable to wear all night, through dinner and dancing. I dressed it up with heels and changed into flats later on and both worked well with the dress. If you're looking for a step above the standard LBD, go with this. The lace detail is so pretty!

Loved the fit of this dress, it was extremely flattering in the waist and true to size. The adjustable straps were awesome. The cutout was a fun detail but felt a little awkward. The material for the back panel was kind of casual and loose-fitting, which is very different from the skirt (more formed fitting). Overall a beautiful dress, I felt great in it all night long! Super easy to wear with a strapless bra and definitely easy to dress up or down.

The length hit me a bit above my knee, I liked it. I wore this to a wedding in Long Island and it did not make me feel hot. After the wedding I took off my fancy jewelry, put on some flats and it was perfect casual dress for the rest of the night in NYC. I felt good in it and would rent again.

I have rented this dress twice now and love it. The first was for a cocktail party type function and the other for a wedding. I love the feminine lace details at the top and I feel like it is a flattering shape as it flowy on the bottom and more fitted on top.

The bodice of the dress was a little snug - definitely no give in the fabric, so I'm grateful I ordered a size up as my backup option. Once zipped, the dress was very flattering and the black lace made it easier to dress up or dress down. Would recommend this dress for many different occasions.

Felt great in this dress! Ordered the M and L and both fit but I wore the bigger size to give me more room to dance. Looks great on, and has elastic in the top to accommodate a larger chest. Perfect for dancing and having fun without having to worry about any wardrobe issues. Wore it without a bra because the strapless bra looked weird in the back, but I had no issues since the fit was good on the top!

This isn't the kind of dress that gets you noticed in a crowd, but it is very, very pretty. The cut is very flattering, the open back and short hemline are super sexy, and the neckline and sweet silhouette are timeless and very "ballerina." At the last minute I ditched the strapless bra and went braless, because it emphasized the ballerina look. This is the kind of dress you just want in your closet. It is comfortable and versatile. I loved it so much I even wore it the next day, with boots and a sweater.

I chose to dress down this style for a Fall college alumni event. I wore it peeking out under a forest green sweater, and layered a shearling over it. It is SO comfortable and lightweight. I got the size M after looking at the Joie size chart on their website, however I could have sized down to a S. It hit about mid thigh length. The neckline hits a little higher than expected, so it provides great coverage for those with larger chests!

Fit at the top near the zipper is tight but the top of the dress is so pretty with the black lace!

I rented a small and medium, but I wish I had grabbed an extra small. I'm always a 4 so I thought it'd work. Either way, the dress was really fun and cute. Got a lot of compliments. However, I wouldn't recommend it to girls with small waists and big hips/butts because I didn't feel very flattered by it.
