I was sent this dress when there was an issue with my original order. The medium was a bit big, but was all they had available. It was so fun to wear, and even had people stop me in the street to compliment me. Would definitely rent again!

When I first took this dress out of the bag, I thought it was horrid! I didn't even want to try it on - but thank goodness I did!! It looks so much better on!!! It does run big, so I took a leather belt and tied that around my waist. I also didn't tie the top bow. Instead, I used fashion tape and put a few pieces around the bottom chest to keep the ladies in. I received so many compliments on this one!! Highly recommend!

The dress fit true to size; a little loose in the waist for me, but the XS might have been too tight in the chest. The skirt flows beautifully and there are slits in both the dress and the lining, so the bare leg does not often show and you don't have to worry about it. I pinned the neck as others mentioned, so that it would lie flat which also looks better on an older person. Length was perfect with 2 inch heels. I wore it to a medical conference at the hospital and then to a fancy dinner with my husband later. I will rent the dress again; I loved wearing it.

This dress was amazing and I wish I owned it. The slits in the front offered so much movement and it was fitted in the waist. I think a medium would have been a tight squeeze so I'm glad I got the large for breathing room. Low cut on top but that's fine for a date out of town. Fabric and color were lovely.

The front cuts too low for the wedding I attended so I pinned it. Other than that, it is truly a lovely, comfortable, wind blowing beauty.

I received this dress with my Unlimited membership. I received so many compliments with the dress. I wore it twice- once to work and once on the weekend while running errands. There is a slit which I put in the photo. Personally, I loved it, but it does show when you walk which I wasn't expecting! I agree with previous reviews that it is pretty low cut, I had to pin it to cover up my bra. I would highly recommend this dress!

The length of this dress is ideal for shorter women like me. I was able to wear this with flats but was most comfortable wearing it with heals where it didn't drag. As others have mentioned there are thigh high slits but I found they made the dress flow incredibly nicely as I walked and made my legs look really long (which never happens). The dress didn't fit me perfectly on top but I didn't care. I have a larger chest so it pulled where the buttons were, showing a lot of cleavage but I wore it like that at night. For work I just put a think tank top underneath. Being short the dress was almost too overpowering but I like wearing long Stevie Nicks dresses so I liked how it looked on me :)

So overall I loved the dress, the color is beautiful and there are slits that show a little leg for a sexy vibe. I am 5'8'' and the length was much longer than shown on the model and the top is pretty low cut.

This dress was a big hit for me under my Unlimited. I wore this out to dinner in Hollywood and it was a perfect choice. It is comfortable, and mostly "forgiving" of flaws, gorgeous colors and is a perfect choice for Spring/Fall weather (we sat outside in the evening to eat and I was perfectly comfortable). Highly recommend!

I wore this in Vegas for a fancy dinner, we had to walk a bit and the double slits kept opening way too high for my comfort. If you don't have to walk a lot this is a great dress. So pretty and the color is so rich!

The fabric, color and cut of this dress were gorgeous. For me, the neckline didn't lay flat so I pinned it together at the top, which made it a bit more conservative. I am 5'7" and it hit me at the ankle so I was able to wear heels. However... I am long waisted and the waistline was a bit high on me, which accentuated my hips. Overall, this was gorgeous but not super flattering on me so I probably wouldn't rent it again.

Fit is true to size, and length was perfect for me (I'm 5'10'') with sandals.

Fabulous, light silk material with layers for depth. Only drawback is I wish this came in petite (or I would love to buy this and have it altered to my length). At 5 ft tall, this comes out as the perfect maxi with 4 inch sandals...but would prefer to wear it with flat sandals though.

Rented for graduation party. Pros: Beautiful color, very comfortable. Cons: low cut so I pinned it up for a less revealing look. Would rent again!

The fit and colors in the dress were great. The dress was long enough for me to wear 3 inch wedges with and I'm 5'5". I gave the dress only 4 stars because it is very low cut for a casual piece (like most of the Joie dresses with this neckline). I had to pin it closed to feel comfortable. Aside from that, great piece.

Ah. I'm a little bohemian and definitely girly at heart, so this ethereal Joie look delighted me more than anything I've rented thus far. When my husband saw me walking around, he actually said, "You look like a floating deity." I paired it with a bright lipstick, knee high boots, and a fur vest. Smashing, really. I knocked down a star because there was a little too much room in the waist, and it was a bit long (I'm only 5'3) so that I actually stepped on the hem a few times (eep!). But overall, Joie does not disappoint. Perfect for day or night. The slits on the side give it a little sex appeal.

Beautiful dress and so fun to wear. Perfect for our mountain anniversary getaway. Since I'm only 5'3" I usually can't wear maxis. This is shorter so worked perfectly for me. Couple things- it has 2 large slits on either side so when I was walking and the wind was blowing sometimes my leg would be exposed up to mid-thigh. Also, it was really low cut on me. Overall loved the dress and wished that I had brought gold jewelry to go with it.

I had been wanting to wear this dress for awhile. The dress is beautiful and I so wish it worked for me:-( I am 5'5" 130lbs and thought I could pull it off but it just didn't work. Quality of dress colors are represented well in photos.

the shoulders were very very oddly shaped- in the photo of the model, it looks like the puff is minimal. in reality, they were very bulky and made my shoulders appear too wide. not a flattering fit for me.

Definitely low cut, but it adds a little sexiness (along with the skirt slits, which only showed my leg up to the knee infrequently while walking - there's a lot of skirt, so my legs didn't always come through the slits). The dress is stunning.

The pictures do not do it justice. It is so lovely on. The fabric is in paneled layers so it moves and separates as you walk and with the breeze adding another dimension to the dress that makes it a bit more playful. It is a little dressier than the picture might suggest. I am 5'10" and wore with flat sandals and it hit me at the ankle. It is thin (the sleeves are one very thin layer of silk chiffon) but in no way see-through, but you would need a jacket in cooler weather. I wore it to an evening outdoor cocktail party and it was perfect. I may have to buy this one.

Beautiful fit true to size. Hidden slits that are very high and fun. The slits only show if there is a breeze. It has a lovely, elegant Bohemian feel. ;-) I would like to own this one.

I'm 5'1 and the length of this dress was perfect with flats. This dress made the perfect day (work) to night out. It was flirty and feminine. The dress had two layers which contributed to it feeling very high quality. Some girls complained that the top was too low cut. It is a little. I wore a nude tank under the dress so had no problems.

I rented this dress for everyday. The fabric, color and pattern are very pretty and work for summer or fall. The fit is very flattering - I have a narrower waist and fuller hips and bust, and this dress hit me in all the right places. It was very comfortable and flowed beautifully while walking! But there is a side slit that can get a little to high up if you're not careful depending on how you sit/ stand. And the neckline is quite low - I had to pin it because I didn't want that much cleavage showing. But overall I loved this dress and would definitely rent again!!

This was the perfect dress. I wanted to wear it badly but the smell was horrible. I couldn't even keep it in my closet because of the horrendous body odor smell it has.

This dress just fit me like a glove. I'm guessing the length it supposed fairly short, for my 5'2'' height it went down to the floor. But the perfect floor length. I could wear it with flats, and paired it with a cute leather jacket for my European vacation. Would definitely rent again!

I am only 5'2 and the length was perfect as a Maxi for me. It would be a Midi on someone above 5'4. The front is pretty low cut, but I was out in LA for a bachelorette, so I did not mind it being revealing. If I was going somewhere more conservative, it would have definitely required a safety pin. There is plenty of room for busty girls, may gap a little if you are smaller chested.

Love this dress. Was perfect for me at 5'2 it barely skimmed the ground with heels less then 2". Other reviews stated that the slits on the sides can open but I found that the slits stayed closed and only opened when a large gust of wind blew when I was walking down the street. The dress fit more umpire waist then natural waist. Slightly low cut in the bust area.

Great flowy comfortable dress! Worn this the a production of Hair and the after party. Very comfortable and great 70's vibe style. I wore it with flat hippie-esque sandals, to make it a bit more casual. The length hit right me at the ground. The colors are bit more vibrant in reality. I'm dark eyed, haired with fair skin and the colors worked well on me. I think the colors would well on anyone. Really liked this dress!
