I work from home and recently gained a lot of weight. Sometimes I have to go to work events and this dress was very appropriate.

Love this dress! Would buy if it was more affordable. Luxe, flowy, sensual fabric. Wore to a literacy fundraiser luncheon in Houston and got a bazillion compliments! It is a true wrap dress so when the wind picks up, be prepared to hold it down or else be exposed. There is also a keyhole opening in the back that is high enough that it won’t show your bra or a camisole, more of an attractive feature of the dress. The primary thing you should know is that the striped/crisscross pattern is more of a slate gray rather than black, but it’s so close in color you could wear black and no one would notice. I paired it with gray tank for extra coverage. I am 5’1”, 150 lbs, normally a size 12 and ordered a large which worked well but guess a size medium may be a better fit with less fabric around the hips. This dress is so much more impressive in person!

I wanted to love this dress. The material is amazing and the print is very cute but it just doesn't fit great and as the other reviews said it tends to open.

Seriously, beautiful dress. Gorgeous fabric and print. But- 1) a wrap dress needs more fabric that wraps underneath, I seriously had to walk with one hand holding the dress so it wouldn't open! 2) it wrinkled like crazy. When sitting I spent half my time trying to arrange the dress in a way that wouldn't look like I just got it out of the laundry basket, and the other half trying to keep my lady bits unexposed because of #1. 3) the waist was super tight and the chest was way too big. And I don't have a huge waist or small chest. I had to pin it to keep it from gaping. Other than that, it was great!

The only closures are the ties at the waist. When I sat down the dress opened up completely. Maybe I missed something but the dress seems very poorly designed. Also, a camisole was a must.

This wrap dress ran very small. I could not wrap it around my midsection! There was a gap of at least 6 inches still left to cover.

This was such a great summer work dress that transitioned to happy hour and post work plans. I definitely needed to wear a cami under it, but depending on your figure, the wrap may provide enough coverage. It was lightweight for hot summer days, but not sheer and appropriate for a business casual office.

Needed a tank

This dress is abso beautiful. It's a navy and white pattern that works beautifully for summer. I'm tall (5'11'') and it hit me knee level. It was secure and wouldn't gape open but I opted for a safety pin to be extra sure. Loved wearing it and will probably rent again.

Flowy, very comfortable. A little low cut if you don't fill out the top very well. Loved it, would definitely buy it!

I wore this to work with heels and also with flats for casual Easter brunch. It is very light and super comfortable. There is a slit in the top back and the front a bit low so I wore a cami underneath for work. It does wrinkle kind of easily, but not terrible.

Fit was a little large, but still had a nice drape and dress is fully lined. Kept for a second month so I could wear it again! First time I have received a brand new piece of clothing from RTR - tags still on and all. Lovely material and better construction than many wrap dresses. Stayed in place well.

I would need to wear a cami though because there's no snap or way to keep it closed on top.

Fit well, really comfortable and pretty. The v-neck is pretty low for work, but a small safety pin solved that.

I was fortunate to get a brand new piece, so it was great for a work event and a baby shower.

I loved the cut and material but unfortunately the wrap was not quite big enough to not risk flying open as I walked. Will rent again in either a larger size or when I'm down a size.

I liked the style but should have sized up. I am a busty size 10 and the medium did not provide enough coverage for me. I might rent it again in a large.

If you really want to show your boobs, get this dress

The dress is cute and flattering, but I had to close the slit up the front of the skirt with double-sided tape. If you don't, you'll be showing every thing when you sit, go down stairs, etc.

For me this worked but it felt small in the waist and large in the bust. That's not a typical problem for me. I'm a classic dress size 12/14. 36c/d

I really, REALLY wanted to love this dress, because the fabric was so comfortable, the style was cute, and I loved the pattern, but unfortunately, I only wore it once. I wish I could put my finger on the problem. The top was too loose, so I wore it with a camisole - not a deal breaker, as I often wear camisoles. But even though I could easily tie all the ties in the wrap part of the dress, the bottom was somehow on the small side. The flaps of the skirt easily flopped open when I sat down, so I had to be pretty conscientious about making sure everything was closed and concealed whenever I sat down. I'm not sure if the issue here is the dress is oddly cut, or if I needed a bigger bust or a smaller bottom or both, but I was so bummed out this wasn't a bigger hit.

This is a sweet little dress. Had to pin the top to prevent gaping. Like most wrap dresses, it requires some management when sitting or walking in even the slightest breeze.

The front gapes and you either have to wear a tank top underneath or pin it.

The fabric is gorgeous and the dress is effortlessly classy. However, it did not fit me right. The bust hung despite my ample size. I don't see how anyone could wear this without a tank underneath. Simply did not work for me.

Loved the pattern but the top and hips of this were strangely loose and the waist too tight on me. Had to wear a slip dress underneath it. Wore it to work once and then returned; it was ok but won't rent again.

Beautiful dress, fabric, and style, but to look right, I needed to cinch the waist in more, which made it uncomfortably tight. I could have sized up but then bust would have been too loose. Wanted this to work!

If you put this on and stand in front of a mirror, its a perfect sundress. But as soon as you start walking or moving in it, it's problems become apparent quickly. Mostly because it isn't a true wrap dress--there's a small tie inside and a larger tie for the outer layer but there's no tie that wraps all the way around the waist, holding everything together. So I had a lot of issues with the chest slipping around and showing way too much. I fixed that with some fashion tape, but there was no helping the legs. As soon as a tiny breeze blew, the entire front opened all the way up, again because it's not a true wrap dress. I had high hopes for this one and I love Joie, but it's just not practically designed.

This was cute, flattering, but too narrow at the waist to wear. I had a gap in the wrap that I could probably have gotten away with, but was ultimately too nervous to wear.

I liked the quality of the fabric and print. I am predicting once the waist is comfortable and the skirt covers, the top will be way to big in the arms and shoulders but not bust and I am not pear shaped.
