This dress fit very nicely. I'm 5'10" and felt the dress was a really nice length. Super comfortable to visit with family & eat a big holiday meal! I received many compliments on the dress & the fun tartan pattern.

Wore this for Christmas photos, the green was a gorgeous rich color and the dress was super comfy with room for lots of Christmas food 😁 Only thing to note is, given the style, it will be a bit baggier up top if you’ve got a shorter torso. For me it was a big baggy, but not frumpy, so I still felt beautiful wearing it 😊

Great for warm weather fall/winter. Navy silk with an overlaying plaid topper. Ran big - I decided not to wear this for my Xmas card pics Bc it gave me too much volume on top, making me look heavier than I am. Because I didn't want to waste an order, I ended up wearing this to the theater (first trip since March 2020!), where it was nice and comfortable. Definitely size down - I could def have work a M at a size 10

I loved the dress, it was easy, flattering and festive. My only comment is that it is a very light material so don't wear it on a very cold night

This dress is nice but I was bothered by how the stripes in the plaid ran at an angle instead of vertically down my chest. I felt this made me look more top heavy.

Love this fit! Blousy but not baggy, and the cinched waistline makes it very figure flattering for many body types. The skirt is flirty and cute and I love the plaid pattern for winter events! Is slight see-through so I recommend a slip.

Loved this dress! Was actually a sheer dress over a slip. I appreciated it since I'm in Florida but wanted to have a holiday look. I got so many complements and loved wearing it. I'm actually slightly sad I didn't purchase this rental!

The sleeves are too short on someone my height. But otherwise, this dress is great! It's a sheer material and ships with a separate slip to wear underneath. The green and red are much more vibrant than they look in the photo. I wore it with a maroon blazer to make it look a little more businessy. I usually wear a Small but the XS fit me perfectly, if you're between sizes and don't mind the sleeves being a bit short, size down!

I love this preppy Glendale Cinched Waist Dress by J. Crew. Running true to size with some stretch, I recommend wearing your true size as your primary and going one size down for your backup. This style is fitted throughout the midsection and fitted at the hips. It's great for any cup size since it's comfortable room at the bust. You are able to wear a standard bra with this dress. At 5'5, the length hit knee length on me. The green plaid pattern is bold and will make you standout on a busy workday at the office. Pair with black flats and a top handle bag to complete your outfit!

This dress looks a little muted in pictures, but it's a nice dark green and navy plaid with red. It comes with a separate navy spaghetti strap slip and was perfect for work or anywhere that you'd need to be conservative. The slip was true to size and I wouldn't have wanted it to be any smaller. The dress itself was almost too big though- the elastic at the waste wasn't fitted enough, causing the dress to hang a little more than needed. If you have curves, I'd stick with your normal size, but if not and you can afford a smaller slip, you may want to size down.

Full disclosure: I accidentally wore this dress backwards!!! But maybe that's because it was just so plain? Ha! The dress fit is a bit off. The waist is a little too high, resulting in readjustments all day. The arms also seemed slightly short. It's still cute and the colors would make it nice for a holiday.

I normally wear medium, but this dress fits great as a small (thank you other reviews who told me to order a small). I was very comfortable in this dress all night, even after indulging in a delicious 5 course meal. This would be appropriate for work or date night. It is a very classic dress. I bought it.

I am 5’3 and rented a small. This dress hit below my knees. I did not like the way it fit so I didn’t wear it.

Sent me the dress with no slip and it's completely see through without it, so no way to wear it. So mad because it looks great on and I really wanted to wear it.

Fit nicely and was really comfortable. I received a ton of compliments. I was looking for something somewhat casual and festive and this was perfect. Perfect for my work party.

Adorable dress that fits true to size. Fabric is on the lighter side but that was not an issue for the mild Midwest Thanksgiving weather. May require tights for some additional warmth if wearing in December.

Overall fit was large, definitely felt like I could've worn a small but it was nice to have room when eating Thanksgiving lunch. Colors are subtle but pattern is beautiful

My first RTR purchase! This dress is great for the fall/holiday season and was the perfect blend of classic and fun. Wore it to work twice but would be great for a casual party or everyday wear as well. Agree with other reviews that the actual color is a hunter green with red and navy plaid, and that it is semi-sheer but comes with a dark slip. The fit is very flattering. Excited that I get to wear it more in the future!

Ran true to size for j. crew, which is a little too big for me. Should've gone for the xxs. It ended up being a little long even, and thus a touch frumpy. But wore to a work presentation with heels that helped.

Great pattern, and the fit is super flattering. Paired perfectly with navy tights and boots.
