I really liked this coat. I was very close to purchasing it. It is warm and fit me well. The only thing I wasn't keen on was the belt, it made the coat feel a little like a robe. I choose to wear it without for most of the time.

This is one of those coats you really can't walk down the street in without strangers commenting on it! It's beautiful in person. You can wear with or without the belt and looks amazing! Warm too!

I would have loved to have tried this in a 14, but it was never available. I did try the 16, but it was just a little too big. I love the contrast of the navy and blue. It's a heavy weight and warm. Overall it's a lovely coat and likely better in your true size.

Loved this coat. I'm almost always a 0 in J. Crew, and that size was a perfect fit. This coat is so elegant and flattering - there's a reason Meghan Markle wore it. It fit well for me as a petite, and it's a good weight for early spring in New England, where the mornings are still cold, but the sun is strong.

I ordered my regular size 12 and it was too small and unflattering on me so I didn't wear it. It was winter also so I wanted to wear with warm layers underneath. Seemed cute, if only it had fit better.

I got tons of compliments on this coat, I love that it's just slightly dressier than a basic pea coat but still looks great with jeans and sneakers. There is a hook that holds it closed, the tie is just for looks. It fit me perfectly with enough room to wear over a thick sweater but still be figure flattering

Wore many times. With wrap feature and tie closure, you can wear most outfits under this coat. Exceptionally warm.

I wore this several times for work meetings, every day wear and even just for errand shopping. It is very high-quality heavy material made of wool. J.Crew does run large so I wore the 00, I normally wear size 2. Highly recommend it!

This coat was so, so pretty and fun to wear. My only complaint is that it probably wouldn't be warm enough for particularly cold days.

I rented in spring so only got to wear once then the weather was not right for this jacket. It's fall/winter appropriate, not spring. Loved the white trim and belt. Great rental.

Tailored-fit. I felt very well-dressed. Definite statement piece! Worn over black leggings, turtleneck and leather slides. Paired with bold jewelry.

I think I'm going to regret not buying this...it is the perfect coat. Equally cute dressed up or down, warm, and looks much more expensive than it really is. Beautiful fit and loved toggle closure if I didn't want to wear the belt.

I wore this to a weekend work convention in Knoxville in 30" degree weather. Not only did it feel cozy ( material is super soft) the coat doesn't just hang on you. It gives you a figure. Not bodycon figure, just the shape of the coat. It is so well made, I ended up purchasing it. It is a heavier material but not heavy like you are carrying extra weight, heavy to keep warm. I received so many compliments on this coat. Through my unlimited I also wore 2 other coats during the weekend, but no one said a word about the other two.

I thought this coat was black. I didn't see in the description that it is navy. That was the only reason I did not wear it. Very nice. Seemed warm. Just didn't go with my outfit.

I like this coat, but the wool picks up EVERYTHING. It looked a little dingy already when I got it from RTR. A few people have said the belt falls off, but there are actually very subtle thread loops in waist which you can use to thread the belt. One thing: there is an RTR sticker on one side of the belt. If you flip the belt the wrong way, it's super obvious that you don't own the coat. My friend called me out on it because she thought I left the sales tag on it! It's a very pretty coat and classy, but I wouldn't buy it due to the fabric. It doesn't wear well over time, I don't think, and shows every hair, fleck of dust, fuzzball, etc.

Loved the fit on this coat! Really warm, nice inside pocket for phone and good length.

For great in the top even over a sweater, although the bottom worked I think I would size up to feel like it really closed in the front over my hips. Perfect for cooler weather and little too warm for full Spring.

Great all around winter coat when wanting something a little dressier. The only complaint was the pockets bulge a bit when buttoned if you have hips. But the arms did fit well.
