Wore this to work and on the weekends. Dresses up any outfit, but definitely runs big - the 6 still fit me with room for sweaters and kept the menswear-ish look!

Jacket was comfortable but yes, oversized. I have smaller shoulders but a large chest which is why I rented the 4. I probably would go back and get the 2. Fun standout jacket!

This coat runs true to size. Light weight which is perfect for this almost Spring weather. The color is black and off white with some green mixed in. I received so many compliments on this coat, several random people on the streets of NYC .

Fit is over-sized, agree with other reviewers that neckline best supported by a turtleneck. Note that it is not black & white as it appears in photo. There is dark green mixed in also. Nice coat but I felt "big" in it

I liked this plaid coat for winter, and so did others. A stranger ran up to me and called the coat "fabulous!" But I didn't like how big it runs, making it oversized. Plus, it only has two buttons, so it's not that warm in very cold weather.

The print, material, and pops of color (subtle green and pink accents on the interior) are all very cute. I found myself wishing the coat was a little more fitted, it felt baggy even with a thick knit sweater underneath.

I thought it would be a little more neutral but it's very much green! Was able to make it work with some fun vacation outfits but a little loud for daily wear

The pop of pink under the collar was adorable ! This coat is very lightly lined and is more of a long blazer than a true pea coat. I think anyone would be cold in it if it's less than 50°F. The white checks looked a little dirty and off colored for some reason. The fit was structured ...definitely more on the oversized large side though. I'm 5'8" and it was a nice length hitting mid thigh. It buttoned shut easily with the two buttons even though my hips are wider than my top half. My biggest complain with this coat is how wide the lapels lay on the chest , you would really need to layer up with sweaters and scarves for this to be a practical coat, but the shoulders and arms are a bit too tight for that. Try it if you have unlimited but otherwise I'd recommend skipping this piece. Feel free to follow my RTR adventures on insta @conceptualemily

great for work, brunch, or dressing up a casual weekend fit

Took this jacket on a fall trip to Amsterdam, and it was perfect at keeping me warm in the 60-degree weather. Wore it come rain, wind or sun and felt fabulous all the while. The sleeves weren't too short nor the body of the jacket too long, especially when I was wearing my wedge boots. Would rent again if I needed some cooler weather wear!

Other reviews are right, this is much greener than the photo makes it seem- and that’s what I liked about it!! Warm with out being too bulky. JCrew coats are such fun to rent.

I ordered this thinking it was black and white but it was actually a subtle green stripe. Loved it!!! I wasn't expecting so many compliments but I definitely received them! I have broad shoulders and usually fit fine with the size recommendation.. but I definitely should have had an 8 in this jacket. It's a bit more fitted (and the material doesn't give) than my loose fitting j crew coat

Warm in California, not warm enough in Connecticut. I wore a baggy sweater one day under and you could see the shape pretty clearly, but other than that, great coat. Lots of compliments. Loved the bit of green in it.

I enjoyed this coat for everyday wear. It isn't a coat that can be worn in a very cold climate for any length of time, but it was great for hoping out of the car and into the office.

Based on reviews I expected this coat to be a) lightweight, and b) oversized. In fact, it is quite heavy and bulky (I live in the Pacific NW and found it too hot for cool Fall weather). It is thick and woolly, and I didn't love the way it hung as a result. I would also say that my usual size would have been better; I sized down and it is too small.

I couldn't make this coat make sense on my shortish/plus-sizeish frame. The pattern is nice.

I was so excited to rent this coat, however it was way to big on me, and only has the two buttons so it flies open a lot of the time. I am usually and 8 to 10 in coats, 8 wasn't available, but I was just drowning in this.

Had this for 30+ days during a pause, what a waste. This coat was so frumpy and just not flattering

Great fit, classic look, warm and cozy coat – stylish for work or casual event.

This has nice length, to knees. Really good for every day to work. And it feels thick and warm, suitable for NYC spring (around 60F). I tried both size 2 and 4, both look good on me. I'm 5'5, 114 lbs, 34C.

Such a beautiful coat!! The green and black actually work as a neutral so the coat goes with pretty much everything and makes every outfit you wear it with feel more special! It's on the roomier side but I liked that. I could wear a sweater or anything under it and not feel like a stuffed sausage.

Love the oversized fit. Great for work trips and everyday
