This dress was great for a rehearsal dinner. The size 2 was all that was available, and it was perhaps a bit too small—the fabric is quite stiff (no give) and restricted my movements when I sat down, so I had to do so carefully. Would recommend sizing up if in doubt.

This dress is so beautiful! With 34DD and an unforgiveable pot belly, I was scared but the dress accentuated my angles. Highly recommend. The material is kinda think though. So if the plan is to run around under Texan sun, this might not be ideal.

I loved this dress a lot more than I thought I would! The material is very high quality, and the fit/cut of the dress is incredibly flattering. I usually wear one size down in J.Crew, and this dress was no exception. I'm normally a 0 and rented a 00. Perfect for a conservative office, but could also be worn for a nice dinner/event. Hit right around the knees on my 5'3 frame.

really versatile dress, perfect for a wedding. it was a tossup between size 2 and 4. I went with 2 so it would be a bit more form flattering. but either way, this is not a tight dress. was very comfortable all evening

Was perfect for a work conference. I wore a leather jacket with it to make it a bit more edgy. The embroidery detailing made it look expensive. A solid option for work or an event.

I just adored this dress. The print and embroidery made it lovely for Easter Sunday. I like the dark backdrop as it makes the flowers pop. Very nice, structured dress that looked beautiful and was comfortable to wear.

Loved this dress! Cute print, great fit and really high quality. I wore this to a casual daytime wedding. I stopped at the gas station on the way, and two women I didn't know complimented me, including one out of her car window. Lol. I feel like that is a clear sign of a winner!

You can't tell by the picture but the colors are so vibrant! And the stitching is incredible! Wore for a bridal shower and got so many compliments. It did help that I had earrings that match perfectly (also by J.Crew) The zipper is in the back (watch where the stitching is thick, you need someone else to help zip up) which I love!

The material feels high quality. The flowers are cute and I could wear it different ways. Was tight in midsection but that is my bigger area.

Loved the pattern and look of this dress. Fit was good, a little tight in the bust while also being too long in the shoulders/arm holes, which led to slight bagging around the bust. I ended up wearing a sweater over it, which was fine. Best with heels since it was a little long on me (5'1")

I think I was in between sizes, my full bust fit best in the size 12, but the bottom portion of the dress was too large and quite wide at the hips. It made me look like a rectangular block. Not flattering on my 5'1 frame. Was able to get a replacement.

I love this dress. It fits true to size and the detail of the fabric is awesome. I wore with a navy blazer and it was a perfect for a fall day at the office!

Rented this dress as a part of my first ever RTR shipment. Was very comfy and great for work - I received so many compliments! I'm usually between a 2-4 and sometimes a petite. I felt this dress ran a little on large side but not in an unflattering way. The waistline does not have any give so a 2 may have felt too tight. Would definitely wear again!

Normally I wear a size 6 but was bold in getting a size 4 instead- fit great! Fitted on top and lose at the bottom. I still wore my shaper-shorts underneath just to smooth everything out, but the pattern and cut really hide lots. Heavier material which was perfect for a fall daytime event. Received many compliments!

I almost always wear a 2 and after reading reviews went with the 0, which fit perfectly, so size down! The fabric was lovely. Perfect cut for work, though definitely not as form fitting as it looks on the model on me, even with the 0.

This dress is awesome! I live in Boston and the weather can be difficult to predict in May. The pattern of this dress seemed "spring" to me while, fortunately, the fabric was a littler heavier which made it great for a 60 degree day. I am a pretty standard size 6, but ordered the size 4 as my back up after reading the reviews. To me, the difference between the two sizes was pretty subtle. I ended up wearing the size 4 as I felt it fit better in the chest/waist (I have a smaller chest). The length of the dress didn't seem to change much between the two sizes. I wore the dress all day and not only was it very comfortable, it maintained its shape and was overall very flattering! Honestly, I would buy this dress if I could figure out how.

I wore this dress to a morning work event. Got lots of compliments! It's thick fabric, but not hot. I'm usually between a 4 and 6, I have a mommy kangaroo pouch that gets in the way of fitting into hourglass shaped things, but I was able to get into this sheath dress in size 2 without feeling like a stuffed sausage. Arm holes were appropriately sized, I could have used an extra inch. It has two pleats that are sewn outwards, on the front and back, which adds a bit of bulk. Wanted to wear this dress all day and keep it in my closet! The colors are gorgeous!

Wore this to a black tie event with a strangely casual theme. Fit and length were perfect for me. I don't have one complaint. It might be tight in the chest if you are well endowed, as there is no give to the dress. The fabric is beautiful - luxurious with beautiful colors. This dress is much prettier in person. I got compliments all night and would definitely rent again.

I wore this for a reunion event that was "business casual" yet knew I needed to be a little more dressed up. It was still casual enough to not stand out enough from the crowd. Great fit! I have been in between a 14/16 for a few months but with little time to find a dress and the 16 was available I went for it. Likely could ah e fit in the 14 but know there is no stretch to the material at all. Either order both or possibly size up for that matter. Even for me, being a little loose I'd still rent the same size again and found it very flattering.

I felt like Mrs Draper from Mad Men! Everyone was in love with this dress and it fit like a glove! I'm usually a size 0 but always size down one size in J Crew dresses. I wore this to work and for drinks with a friend! Could not recommend this more. It's also super flattering!

Gorgeous dress! Runs very big though. I rented a 4 and 6, and needed a 2. Unfortunately, they did not have any left. The fabric doesn't have any give to it at all (which is why I sized up), but don't be afraid to size down! Overall, gives a great professional but fun look- wore for my masters graduation ceremony.
