Loved this jacket! With 50 degree Fahrenheit outside the jacket kept me warm. It feel like you have a blanket on top of you! Love the deep pockets and the 1 inside pocket- they held a lot and I didn't even need to bring a purse! Will definitely rent again!

Luxurious, yet subtle. Sleek not bulky. Perfect for weather in the 40's with a wool turtleneck. I'd consider buying, this coat is well made, a stylish classic. Darker black than it looks in pics, I tweaked the brightness to show the fabric.

I did not want to take this off. I wore it with the dress I rented for my engagement photos and it was just perfect, really hit the vibes for my photo shoot. It is SO warm and comfy, i literally would use it as an every day jacket, but it also has the perfect amount of upscale for a more formal look. My free backup size was an XXS, and i probably truthfully could have worn that one if i were to button it up, but i wore it open the whole time and it was perfect (the XS looked like there would have been too much room if i did). I am so sad I could not buy this out, but I will forever be on the hunt for it, lol. Apparently it is sold out on J Crew's sites, so it must be super popular.

I rented this to wear to a funeral. Unfortunately it was too warm that day to wear it. But it was warm, cozy, and chic. Would definitely rent again!

I really love this coat! It's cozy and warm and transitions from casual to dressy (not that the pandemic provides a lot of dressy occasions, but one can be optimistic). Pockets are a nice size and there is a bonus one inside! I got it a little big so I can wear layers underneath but it's pretty much true to size.

I really liked this coat. It was a little big on me, but felt and looked good and warm. I even considered buying it when I first tried it on. But then I wore it outside, and any slight movement would make the snaps come undone. It wasn't tight, the snaps are just not strong enough for the heavy fabric. It needs more heavy duty snaps or buttons.

would recommend a different style, but will be wearing this to a wedding this december. definitely more bulky than other teddy coats but still cute!

I actually think this is a solid coat option. You can dress it up or down and it was decently warm and lined. The sleeves were short and tight on me and the biggest drawback was the snap closures! Would. Not. Stay. Closed. So annoying! It basically rendered the snaps useless so I wouldn't rely on this coat to stay closed thus making it less warm than it could be.

I didn't feel like this did anything for me. With a fun scarf, it could be improved, but it just looked too bulky without being fun.

I’ve always wanted to own this style jacket but I’m so glad I tried it on first. It’s way too bulky on the outside but too tight fitting on the inside, the button doesn’t stay closed well. Would opt for something more chic

Not very warm because the snaps don’t stay closed at all, so you have to wear it open.

The snap style buttons do not stay closed. Easily pop open making it very ineffective in the weather.

I looked like a black bear, except for the fact the button are not functional and do not keep the wind out. I should've listened to previous reviews.

Nice, warm coat but bulky

I really enjoyed the fit and the fabric. My only dislike was how thick the collar was from the plush fabric, I wasn't able to turn my head easily
