It doesn't look like anything special in this picture - but I thought it was nice in person. Comfortable and great elastic waistline - but even though it says it's sweater material, I was expecting a basic black pleated skirt - and this was much better than that! There is an underlying blue color to the black and the sparkles make it much more interesting. Nothing spectacular but definitely a step up from a basic black skirt.

I have never been a big skirt-wearer but I wanted to give this a try because I love the length & the pleats. It was comfortable, but I just didn't like the fit. Also, it's a bit glittery and felt too fancy for daily wear.

Hard to see in the photo I'm bottom right. I wore a rehearsal dinner in December with an oversized black knit and black leather boots. It's a dark navy with a bit of a shimmer with a black band. It was so comfortable and chic. Would rent again

Fit well, the material is a little itchy when you sit but not unbearable and it isn't as flowy as the picture makes it look. You could definitely dress it up or down.

This looked super cute on the model and I'm not sure if it was just too small but it did NOT hit mid calf length (went way longer) and molded to my hips in a horrible way

The fabric stretches so it was a perfect fit. I was very happy with the skirt and would rent again!

I was definitely nervous about the XXS as I usually wear a small or Xs but this fit well and was stretchy. I had a blouse tucked in and you couldn't see the lines too much. I think next time I go with a long skirt I will try to do something brighter because the dark colors made this look a lot more formal

Wore this to work the other day in the currently bitter cold in NYC. Had long socks underneath and still felt warm and insulated! The waistband was comfortable, even when seated, and I liked that the glitter didn't feel too over the top. Would definitely rent again.

I liked the shirt and a few of my own personal items I could wear with it.

Unsurprisingly JCrew made a perfect work appropriate sweater skirt. The skirt is black and navy/dark blue. I wore it twice. Once with a black turtle neck and flats. second with a thin white turtleneck, a black pullover cardigan, black tights and boots. I am 2nd trimester pregnant and these types of moveable waste-bands are key.

I think this dress is simple and elegant. It is perfect for an average day look.

Fit awkwardly on my hips - did not wear

Beautiful dress with nice details and material, but oh boy did it make me look pregnant after a small slice of cake. Not for me :(

Despite what the pictures show, if you have a plus size body this will definitely snug your tummy. I wore this skirt once to work with an oversized sweater and I looked so baggy in the long sweater and long skirt.

The navy thread has a slight, glittery weave to it which was a fun detail. The dress hangs differently than expected, but ultimately it worked fine. It is form-fitting around the butt area and hips.

Heavy knit, pleated sweater skirt, perfect for cold weather. The fabric is a bit glittery, so I dressed it down with a denim top, and sneakers.

I loved the blue-black combination, which I didn't expect from the photos. The slight sparkle in the blue was very fun and the skirt itself was very comfortable. It was longer than I expected and would have been more flattering if it had been a little shorter but otherwise great.

Very thick sweater type material. Great for the crisp end of winter and breezy Seattle. Paired with blouse, tennies, and denim jacket. The slight hint of sparkle was a fun addition and made for a great contrast with the tennis shoes and denim. Could easily have dressed this up for a night on the town with some heels though

This has a fun sheen/glitter look in person and seems really sturdy and thick, but it doesn't fit the body of you have any sort of tummy well.

No good. Maybe better on a tall person but I am 5'2". Sparkles very muted because this skirt was quite faded. I will say that RTR was awesome in swapping it out for a different piece due to the fading of the skirt. One positive is that this was comfortable and a good skirt that you could wear all day at work.
