Fit perfectly! Got so many compliments, and felt amazing in this dress!!

My fiance has a thing for slip dresses with a cowl neck. Wore it for our special "holiday" dinner. Also wore it again for our holiday card photos! I would rent again for a formal/special occasion.

Perfect velvet dress for the holiday party! The open back with adjustable straps makes it perfect for those of us with small waists, but need something bigger across the back. As I varying n size depending the fit across the back, I wore the size 2, instead of the 4, as it fit well in the waist and was more flattering. Super comfortable! Wanted to keep it, but RTR said it was being rented again, so I had to return it.

Fits like a glove, pulling off that perfect combo of sexy and comfy. Still considering buying!

The fabric is very forgiving, perfect for a formal dining setting. The back is open from the neck to the bra clasp area (with the exception of the string ties) so if you need extra support I would suggest a backless bra. If going braless of any size be mindful of bending over so you don’t spill out or get fashion tape. The velvet texture looks more lush in person than in the photos. If you have long legs like me, just make sure to adjust your dress upon standing to make sure the slits are where they’re supposed to be and you don’t have any minor flashes in the back. I recommend styling it the way I had it as it gives a glamour vibe. I wouldn’t recommend wearing this in a super warm venue or climate. Long story short: wonderful dress! Be mindful of certain tips and things when moving around, very comfortable and I chose now to wear shapewear underneath and it looks great! I kept getting stares all night. If you’re in between sizes, go with the smaller one. The fabric is somewhat stretchy and you can adjust the top fit with the ties in the back.

This dress was really easy and fun to wear and really made me feel pretty at a formal wedding. The velvet material was stretchy and the back was a tie so I felt supported in my chest area even while dancing. I ordered a 10 and it was a little big but still give this dress a 10/10

I wore this dress to a formal wedding in December. Fit perfectly. I am 5’1, around 107lbs.

Fun dress. Worked for me - I’m not heavy chested- so nothing was needed underneath. The back strings can be pulled tighter for the from if it hangs to low.

Hugged all the curves. Very comfortable! There was some transfer of color to my undergarments which was odd, but not a deal breaker. Would definitely rent again!!!

Got tons of compliments. Felt great in it. I love a cowl neck dress. Hemline great for short gals.

Felt amazing in this dress! Loved the back and slit, fabric felt so soft and it stayed put all night dancing. I sized down in this and was glad I did, fairly stretchy material.

I'm 5'2" and wear a size 6 in pants but with broad shoulders, I wore this dress in a size 12 and it fit well. The adjustable straps were key! The cowl neck gives it an interesting neckline and the asymmetrical hem was perfect for my height - with three inch heels it didn't drag and was easy to move, walk and dance in. The texture of the material is soft and stretchy which made it very comfortable, forgiving and flattering; and the cut of the dress gave me a more curvy silhouette. A regular bra is a definite no-go with the low back and so is high waisted shape wear. It was perfect for a fall wedding and can definitely be worn for a more formal or black tie event with the right accessories.

Obsessed with this dress and talked about it so much that my husband bought it for me for my birthday! Perfect fit! Usually wear 25/26 short/jeans for reference. The material was perfect for fall in south Florida weather and I’d wear it anytime fall through winter here- it’s like a thin velvet.

This dress fit perfectly. A nice stretch when moving and sitting. Velvety soft and gave a nice depth in color with the light. I had to use body tape to make sure I wasn’t flashing anyone while setting up the food for guests. I wore with Cakes instead of a bra. I would definitely rent this dress again.

I went up a size for my apple body shape. Fit great with shapewear! May be hard for a larger bust.. I am a B cup. I may be buying this dress because I liked it so much!

I originally ordered the 4 to wear but ended up going with the 2 (probably could’ve even gone down to a 0). The material has some give as well. Overall beautiful, flattering dress! Received lots of compliments!

Wore this to a formal October wedding and it was a big hit! The fabric is fairly thin but thankfully the venue was quite warm so I was ok. I’m only 5”1 so I was worried the bottom of the dress would drag but with a 3 inch heal it was fine. The cord that ties in the back did stretch a bit throughout the evening so I had to retie it a couple of times. Felt beautiful though!

Would 10/10 rent this again! So comfy, hugged all the right curves, and got so many compliments. I will say for some reason the material stained a little bit and my thighs looked black and blue the next day from the dress??…But it came right off in the shower. Used a backless adhesive bra and you can adjust the tightness of the top with the straps.

My sizing varies between a 4, 6, and an 8 sometimes, but the 4 fit me perfectly in this dress. I kept the strings tied in the back just the way they came, but if I needed to adjust them, I think I could have. SO many compliments. Super comfortable yet sexy at the same time, perfect for a steak dinner date. Loved wearing this dress so much I thought about buying it.

I wore it for a winter wedding (below 0F) BE CAREFUL if you’re moving a lot because it may start rubbing on your arms. After hour 3 of dancing my inner arms were rubbed raw.

This dressed works. It's easy, has some stretch. The open back is nice and since it's simple it's a good opp to wear fancier shoes to dress it up a little. Not my favorite item but it did the job for a wedding. I didn't love the way the top fit without wearing bra, but this is probably not an issue for smaller chest.

Didn’t end up going with this one for a wedding, but it fit well and is a fun asymmetrical little black dress option!

Was hesitant to wear this at first but ended up loving it. Paired it with a pashmina and it was perfect for an engagement party. The neckline is loose, and you can't wear a bra with this, so just no bending over, but otherwise great!

Nothing to really write home about but it's a solid and forgiving little black dress. The asymmetric hem does come up quite high in the back so beware :) it's not the best quality, and felt a lot like a dress you might buy from Forever 21. Probably wouldn't rent again but it worked out fine for a cocktail event.
