Perfect fit through the bodice and not too tight around the hips. She looked and felt great. She is 5"8" and 145 - muscular. Size 4 fit perfectly.

Pretty holiday dress! The fabric feels weird on the outside but it looks great. The dress also fits very straight, so it's kind of fitted more in the hips than it is in the midsection (causing a little bulge). I suggest going up a size for the back up size because the fabric has no stretch to it. A standard bra works perfectly with this dress. Because the dress is so fun, you don't need to go all out when it comes to accessories!

I was worried this dress would not fit well; none of the reviews were very applicable for me. Luckily, though, it ended up working and I wore it to my cousins winter wedding. It is not as full as it looks in the picture, it is honestly more of a shift, but because it does have a slight A-line it fit my hips and butt. It also is not as short as it looks, I did wear shorts under it though because it flies up when dancing. It was a great option, different shape and look, with beautiful fabric.

This dress had a flattering cut for curves. In the end I chose a black one sleeve that felt more appropriate for my event. This one made me feel like "mother-of-the-bride".

I wore the 10, which was a bit snug with some bubbling if the dress.wasnt laying a certain way. The 12 was too big. That said, the dress looked fine and I was comfortable and able to dance in it.

Beautiful fabric and hemline. However, I wish I ordered a 0. The extra fabric made the dress stick out in stomach area and gape under the arm. I'm usually a size 2.

Rented for a New Years Eve house party. The dress itself is stunning, and I did get conpliments, but definitely size up if you have any kind of curves! The material is super shiny but has ZERO give.

This dress was literally brand new (no reviews yet on RTR) and still had the tags on it. Sadly I did not wear the dress- it fit snug on the hips but very baggy in the middle area. The material felt funny too- I ended up wearing another dress I ordered since there weren't any reviews online and I knew it was a gamble! RTR has great customer service however since it was my error, I didn't contact them for a replacement since I had another dress. If you have smaller hips and a mid-section you don't want a dress to be snug on, this one might be a better fit for you!

Definitely runs big. I wear a 4 normally, and the 2 was still a little roomy. It was also longer than I expected...I'm 5'5" and it was just above my knees. But it was really cute, and I liked it!

I did not take a picture, as this dress made me feel uncomfortable. Thankfully it was only my backup style. This is not a dress for people with wide backs and a bit of belly. I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to eat without ripping the seams. Unfortunate, as the picture does it no justice it’s really a beautiful dress in person. But a dress perhaps for people of a smaller frame.

I rented this dress for NYE, but sadly could not wear it because it was wayy too big! The length was down to my knees (I'm 5'3") and the chest/arm area was very baggy (I'm a 32C). The skirt puffs out more than the photo, so if you're looking for a slimmer style, this dress is not what you want. Loved the design and gold color though!

I hated the material of this dress. It looked cute, but anytime you move the dress goes up. The material did not stretch and felt really harsh on my skin. Didn't fit my waist well either. So, glad they sent me 2 sizes because I definitely needed the smaller size

According to sizing that I got from the designer's website I ordered the 12 and the 14. Both were way too big, however I feel that the 10 would have also been huge.

The dress is snug around the hips; it's probably good for some people but just not my apple shape. The material doesn't give it's quite structure.

I rented this dress as a backup to a previous dress that didn't fit properly. I HATED this dress. It looks much different on the model. I'm 5'10 and rented a 2, yet the dress still came to my knees and was too baggy in the bust. I felt like I was wearing a bag. I ended up going with the first dress.

The dress itself was very comfortable on and the material seemed to be of good quality, however the cut of the dress is so awkward looking. The top portion is baggy and boxy looking and the ruffles of the lower part seem to be positioned way too low. I did not wear this dress.

When I rented this dress, it didn't have any reviews, but I played it safe and rented it in 0 and 2. I put on the 0 and felt like a little kid! The frills were to my knees and the dress itself was massive and wide on me. I didn't even try the 2. This one seems to run pretty large.

Tight throughout abdomen to waist. I even ordered a larger size and it was too tight. Recommend for thin figures or go up one to two sizes. Did not wear to event.

There weren't any reviews for this when I rented it so I definitely took a chance - and it failed spectacularly. I rented this for a wedding and did not end up wearing it because it was so terrible. To start, the dress is made of this really cheap, thin, itchy gold material - not like any of the other high quality dresses I've rented from RTR. The fit was also really weird. The stitching where the ruffle part of the dress starts hits right at the hips, so the dress ends up riding up when you walk! If you have any curves whatsoever, this dress will not work for you. I'm 5'2, 140 lbs and rented the 6 and the 8. The 6 was way too tight around the hips (the material doesn't stretch) and the 8 was too long and fit too big up top. The dress is pretty short so I would not recommend this dress if you're pear shaped unless you want to end up flashing people!
