I Rented this for a New Year's eve wedding. I normally wear a 10 or 12 and I will typically size up in most of my rental dresses. I rented this in a 12 and a 14 anticipating that the lace could potentially be tight on the arms. I was pleasantly surprised that this dress runs small and the lace has a good bit of stretch and give to it, it actually ended up being too large and rent the runway was unable to overnight me a size 10 due to the holiday, but it worked out nonetheless the lace was just slightly too baggy. This dress was so comfortable and so beautiful, I will definitely rent it again for another event.

Very flattering dress with the gathered waist. The lace is a little stretchy, no issues with fit. Not scratchy, but the buttery soft fabric of the included slip was nice! I wore a strapless bra, but you might be able to get away with skin tone straps under the lace. The length was comfortable and didn’t ride up too much.

I felt very comfortable all evening in this dress. True to size and a quality dress. I’d wear again.

I paired with champagne heels. Get ready for all the compliments!

Great color and fit! Loved this shade of purple and having sleeves for March. The lace has some stretch to it which is great. Some other reviews mention that the slip and lace are separate pieces - I almost wore the 14 slip with 12 lace accidentally and so happy I had time to change. 12 fit me better overall, 14 wasn't as fitted and had looser sleeves on me. Seems true to normal sizes.

This is a great dress that looks beautiful and is so comfortable. I was in between a size 4 & 6, but they were out of a 4 for a second size. The six worked, but was a touch large in the sleeves. The slip is totally separate from the dress so it doesn't get caught. I got many compliments throughout the night!

This is a beautiful dress that fit perfectly. Material stretches a little so very comfortable. Only con for me was the sleeve length was a little long as I’m short, otherwise perfect.

This dress fit perfectly! It flattered my figure well. Definitely good for a winter wedding since it was long-sleeved, but the lace makes it breathable and not too cumbersome. I tried it on in the store, so I already knew how it would fit when it arrived.

The dress fit perfect and I was able to wear a strapless bra. The slip rides up and twists so I spent much of the night trying to straighten it out and pull it down. Perfect dress for events that don't involve dancing or a lot of moving.

This dress is two pieces: a slip and the lace overlay. The lace is super flattering and I didn't feel like I had to suck in like I normally do which was a plus haha. It runs SLIGHTLY big. I usually wear a size 6 and had size 8 as backup but I probably could have worn a size 4. The arms were loose on me but other than that it looked great and I felt great wearing it! The color is exactly like how it is on the screen - the first photo just makes it look darker because of lighting.

The Bride choose this beautiful deep purple for her Bridal party and folks thought I was in the wedding! It was very comfortable. I rented a size 6 but could have probably gone with a size 4. This was a very classy rental, and I highly recommend it.

I am usually in between sizes 6 and 8. I went with the 8 because I do like like overly tight fitting clothing. The 8 fit perfectly in every way. The color and style were gorgeous! My picture is making the dress darker than it appears, but it is true to the color in the model picture. The length was also perfect. Not too short and not too long.

It's 2 layers and the lace overlay made it a bit more conservative.

This dress was beautiful and super comfortable. It comes in two pieces - the slip and the overlay, which was a gold style for my large bust. My only complaint was that the sleeves were a tad big on me, but not a deal breaker at all! Received many compliments on this one!

Eeks! After looking at the review photos, I think I arranged this wrong, but I liked. When I ordered, didn't realize there were actually two pieces: the under slip and the lace outer. Ended up wearing the sz 10 slip under the sz 8 dress for more length. The lace overlay didn't lay right (maybe because it was the 8?) I ended up angling the dress and showing some of the slip but I liked how I pulled it off. However, I didn't think it photographed well. 5'1" and 140lb

I loved this dress and wore it to the wedding of a close friend. I loved that it was super flattering on my figure but was still conservative enough for me to be a reader and stand in front of the crowd at the Catholic wedding

This dress is really beautiful. It is TWO separate pieces, the slip underneath and the lace overlay. I accidentally wore the size 14 slip (my backup size) and the size 12 lace overlay, and I was pulling up the slip all night, whoops. And the slip does have adjustable straps, which I really appreciated! The overlay can be tricky-the first time I didn't put it on correctly and I did NOT like the dress. I tried it again a few hours later and did it correctly and was so, so happy. I wore to a late October wedding in Connecticut it and it was perfect for the occasion. I'm in between a 12 and 14 and the 12 was the idea size for me. The lace has nice stretch which I appreciated. Highly recommend!

I loved this dress because it was sooo comfy!! Lots of compliments too. It comes in two pieces - a slip and a sheer lace dress. You will be cold in cold weather!

I wore this for a gala. The dress was very comfortable. The area where it was knotted was a little bunchy. Overall very nice fit!
