This dress was so cute. I wore it for a night out and joint bday celebration. I knew from the reviews that it would be tight on me as I still have about 15 lbs of baby weight to lose. It was still okay but I wouldn’t have bought something that tight. Not too short which at 5’10” is usually my main concern. Loved it!

I rented this dress for a 40th bday at a restaurant/lounge in NYC. It was really comfortable, held me in well and didn't ride up. I especially loved the pattern! I am 5'7, 165/170 lbs, athletic build, and I was wearing 3 inch block heels. I ordered a medium, and it fit true to size. Overall I was really happy with this rental!

Thought it would be a bit more stretchy, but overall good fit. Past the knee, definitely shows the cleavage.

Stylish and fun dress. Was very tight over my 27 week bump, but was very cute. It is quite low cut on my petite chest.

I'm a singer in a band and 21 weeks pregnant. I rented this dress for a bar gig and it was perfect. I sized up one from my normal size to accommodate my bump. It fit nicely. There's some stretch to the dress even though it's form-fitting, but it's also weirdly a little narrow. If you want a little wiggle room I might suggest sizing up.

This was such a great cut and the fabric was thick enough to hold me in well as if I were wearing Spanx almost. I even felt I could go without a bra (rare for me!!). But my husband didn't love the print (I disagree) and it was a bit tight for this TX heat wave and I didn't end up wearing it.

This dress is stretchy, comfy, and super cute. The grey is a more of a beige though so it'd be better for tan to dark skin renters. If it was a different color, I'd rent it again, but probably the Medium.

TRue to size

Cool dress, but long in the torso. At 5’2” the torso and contour of this dress was too long, making it bunch up at the waist or too loose at the shoulders. Would be better for a taller gal!

I’d planned to wear with a leather jacket but the tummy area just wasn’t flattering enough. I could’ve pulled off Spanx, but I just wore something else instead. Otherwise it’s well made, just the right amount of stretch, and generally fit well everywhere else.

I've rented other John + Jenn dresses before and loved them because they're comfortable, cute and flattering form fitting without being too tight. Surprised when arrived NWT since it's been on RTR for a while. Then I tried on & realized why - the combo of the print and cut on this one is just not attractive. The spots hit in all wrong the places. Disappointing but I too returned without wearing

Too small

I probably should have sized up to make it work appropriate but otherwise it was too conservative for the weekend but unwearable to work.

The colors didn't look great on me and the neckline was too low and wide so it showed my bra. Probably ok if you have bigger boobs.

Thicker material. It’s cute but nothing super special

I thought this dress ran very small. Would size up for best fit; it was very tight everywhere.

Loved the idea and quality of this, but could not wear due to the straps being way too long. 4 friends tried this on (all same size but different body types) and straps were too long on all of us. Such a bummer.
