I'm a true size 8, pear shaped, so the waist on 6 was perfectly snug. People mention the sleeves being itchy but it was fine. Got sooo many compliments on it because it was different than others dresses

Loved the length and the look of the fabric. The cap sleeve I also really liked but if you are wearing it and need to lift your arms a lot or carry a small child, I would skip it.

Get ready to receive compliments wherever you go in this gown. I felt so beautiful in it. As others noted, the arms are a bit restrictive, and it is hard to raise your arms in this dress. Otherwise it is so pretty and I’ve never been stopped so many times with compliments.

I got so many compliments on this dress! It is a great dress to wear if you carry weight in your stomach. I could eat and dance comfortably. Definitely a tight fit - so wear true to size or size up - there isn’t any stretch. But I loved it!

Love this dress! Pockets! Full skirt! BEAUTIFUL fabric!!! I was torn on what to wear for a necklace, and it was better with none! Silver accessories to compliment the silver texture in the fabric. I switched shoes half way through the night, from a little MaryJane pump to an ankle boot with a heel (because my pumps hurt!) and both looks were adorable! It feels both retro classic and very modern, and I loved wearing it!

I normally border a size 8/10, I couldn’t zip the 10. The 12 was perfect. It has pockets! I wore it to a formal wedding in winter - some people had on backless strappy dresses, and I was so happy I had on something a bit more weather appropriate and classy. I’m also short, so often have trouble with long dresses, but the graduated hem made this perfect for my height (with heels on).

With very short notice I had to scramble for a dress. I had heard of RTR but never used the service before. I download the app and went on the search. What was most helpful for me in my choice were the real life reviews from other renters so here I am to say thank you and give my two cents. This dress was lovely. I had to size up because I’m 6 ft tall and because I have a large bust. We had a very long night and had to walk over a mile in the freezing cold and this dress was up to the challenge!! Shipping was so fast which was surprising due to horrible weather in my area. Thank you for a great service. I would definitely use this company again!!

This dress was so fun and allowed me to show off my statement silver bow shoes!!!! This dress has pockets which is such a huge plus. Of course, it was a little disappointing that the size 8 didn't fit, but my spirits completely were lifted as I had the size 10 as a back up. I felt gorgeous in this dress and my 26 and 29 year old daughters chose this dress for me over another dress I had ordered. It always feels good when your hip young adult children think you look beautiful at 58 and menopausal. :) Per others reviews, I did not find the dress to be "scratchy" nor difficult to raise my arms. I danced the night away in this gorgeous dress.

I rented an 8 and a 6 in this dress because I’m pear shaped and my issue is usually the bottom half and the 8 was snug, and the 6 wouldn’t even zip. The plus about that is that I didn’t have to wear a bra (34C) since it was so snug. The fabric is itchy under the arms and you can’t raise your arms very high but neither was an issue for me. I did have to trim some threads sticking out in various places on the dress. I received a ton of compliments though and was told I should buy this one. It’s hard to find a modest dress for a formal event so I was so glad to find this!

I really enjoyed this dress. I wore it to "work" at a fundraising gala and it was perfect for that. I received lots of compliments and it has pockets. I had to wear the smaller size because I have a shorter torso and narrow shoulders. The only thing I didn't like is that the fabric and under seams were itchy. It was a little longer than I was expecting but that was great for me.

I read the reviews and got one size larger than I usually wear; it was a too big on me and sadly too long. It looked like I had a train! I wore it to a wedding with stairs and had to be very careful. Got so many compliments! And I would get this again!! All that aside

This was such a great dress! I got so many compliments and it was perfect for my brother in laws holiday wedding. It’s comfortable, easy to move in, and has pockets which is always great. I was a little worried about the sleeves maybe being too tight but they weren’t at all. In fact the sleeves are very flattering. I’m just under 5’8’’ and the length was perfect for me with a low heel.

The top is definitely tight, so size up! I usually wear a size 0-2 but I ended up wearing a size 4 and probably should’ve even just did a 6. But this dress was too fun to care. Great for dancing. Packed well. Hung up the night before and the wrinkles fell out. Love. Love. Love. Will rent again!!

Wore to a black tie gala. Fit perfectly and was very comfortable. Got so many compliments. The picture doesn’t do it justice. Tiny small watch out is the fabric is a bit scratchy so the under side of my arm got a bit irritated but nothing major. I’m very short and wore this with about 3 inch heel and it worked well. Just had to be careful no one stepped on the back. Would absolutely wear again.

I usually wear size 8. I have broad shoulders and muscular upper arms and have found in styles that have cap sleeves it can be very tight around my upper arms. For that reason I decided to size up. Glad I did.

I usually wear a 6R and had to size up to 8R for this one. The 6R fit okay but was too tight in certain areas to dance comfortably so I sized up. Tons of compliments! I will definitely rent this one again in the future

I’m 5’10, and I was nervous of the bust being too tight. Size 14 normal size fit great. Oh, and it has pockets!

I’m typically a 4P in RTR dresses, but this time the 6R fit better so make sure to get a size up as a backup! I do wish there was a 6P but it wasn’t available so I just wore high heels so it didn’t drag on the ground. The 4P fit, but it was tight in the shoulders and the 6R gave more room up top. The actual dress is so comfortable and looks great on. Plus the pockets are a plus! I received compliments all night- highly recommend!

Many complements on this dress! The waistline and full skirt were so flattering (I struggle a lot with finding stuff that works for me, I don’t have a waist, I’m a self described egg shape). Pockets were fab. The material has absolutely no give or stretch so the arms were tight and I was a bit worried zipping it up but it all worked out.
