Fit was okay in general but the material is not good for hot weather. I was in Mexico and it was very hot. I am 5"3 and the length of the dress was fine. My size is 0 or 00 or and I wore 2 but it was okay fit to my body.

I wore this to a cocktail attire film festival in Hollywood. I think I could've even gone for a size 4. I used those stick-on cups, so I think it helped fill out the top! What was great about this is that I'm athletic and my lower body is muscular, so by putting all the attention up top, it really lengthens the body quite nicely (with assistance of heels of course!) And as everyone has mentioned, it's comfy!

I love this dress! My only regret is not owning one myself. I received so many compliments on the design and color, and you can't help but feel VAVAVOOM wearing it! I chose my size (6R - US 2) based on other reviews. Many said it ran a little small so I was conservative with my sizing and sized up. Personally, I wished I hadn't because the US 2 was big and I could have went down a size. I normally wear a 00 or XXS in mass production brands (Gap, J.Crew, etc.) and a 0/2 in designer clothes. I would suggest getting your first one one size up from your regular size and getting your 2nd dress 2 sizes up just in case...instead of going up 2 and 3 sizes like I did.

This dress looked and felt great on, and I received many compliments. I felt feminine and glamorous. The cut was nice and the front draping fell beautifully over my soft stomach and made my waist look slim. I have a small chest so the deep V looked very nice, but double stick tape was fully necessary to keep the front panels secure. Overall I loved this dress!

I wore this dress for a formal wedding and got compliments on it all night. Beautiful color, so comfortable and the plunging neckline made it sexy but not over the top. I am 5'5" and wore 2' heels and the length was perfect. Was so happy I didn't have to wear tall heels so I was comfortable dancing all night. I am small-chested and used fashion tape to hold the top in place and those stick on nipple covers underneath, which worked great. I would definitely recommend this dress if you want to look hot and be comfortable, a win win!

First of all, THANK GOODNESS they send you two sizes. I usually wear a size 4 but I'm very tall, so I ordered a 6 (10R UK) and an 8 (12R UK). I was flying out to DC Friday morning for the wedding and the dress arrived Thursday afternoon, as expected. I tried on the six, which fit beautifully all over, but was about 8 inches too short, YIKES! Luckily, the 8 was just about perfect. The dress is jersey- but not the jersey I"m used to. It is 100% silk and it drapes beautifully. Added bonus: the ties around the waist allow you to make it a big tighter if you do have to go with a bigger size like I did and it makes the dress fit like it was made just for you. I'm fairly small-chested and didn't have a single issue with wardrobe malfunctions (though I did use a bobby pin that I had in my purse to secure the neckline for the ceremony at the church- it's a whole lotta boob....)- didn't have to use fashion tape, spanx or anything- just super comfortable all night. I used a regular iron on the steam function to lightly steam the few wrinkles that were down in the bottom of the dress out and it was perfect- took about 10 minutes. The best part was that the next morning, I dropped it off at the front desk for UPS pickup and didn't have to do anything else at all (except hate the fact that I had to give the dress back... I loved it that much!). Seriously got compliments all night. Dress was incredibly comfortable- the most gorgeous shade of blue and just all around perfect. Get this one!

This dress is very easy to fit given the wrap style and is so comfortable. I ordered this as a back up out of curiosity...I did not think that the plunging neckline would work with my bust size. I am so happy I was wrong!

I rented this dress for an awards gala. I normally wear a US size 4 in dresses so I ordered the UK 8 and 10. The UK size 8 fit better up top but was slightly too short, so I ended up wearing the size 10. As others have said, the ties around the waist make it easy to wear a larger size. I used a lot of fashion tape to make sure I had no wardrobe malfunctions and it held up really well, even through lots of sweaty dancing! The dress was great and arrived exactly on time. I had no complaints and will definitely be renting from RTR again.

Fit was great, very flattering dress. Length was perfect for me with my heels. Could have used some double sided tape, but got through the night with no slip ups.

The color is darker and much more rich than the picture (in a good way). It is super comfortable and with a little fashion tape and sticky bra it was perfect for the black tie event. I danced and had no issues with the low v-neck. I got a ton of compliments. I would rent this again for sure!

Fit was a little large, but nothing a little fashion tape didn't cure. It was also a tad long for my 3" heels, but I'm only 5'3". Otherwise, it was a dream! It creates a nice waistline if you're straight-waisted like me, and the fabric is forgiving enough that you can eat and drink freely. I loved the plunging neckline and open back for a dramatic effect. Bonus: it's really just very comfortable all around; I wore it all night with no issues!

I'm about 5'7, 115 pounds, and a D cup. The dress fit however I think the 2l would have been a better fit than the 4. I am not however complaining since I won my pageant in this dress. Obviously the judges and everyone else thought it looked quite elegant.

It fit as if it had been altered for me! I got the regular length which was absolutely perfect for my 3.5 inch heels. I am 5'6.

I wore this dress for a friends black tie wedding. It was GORGEOUS. I have a pretty small chest and it actually looked really good on. I didn't even wear any fashion tape. The color is certainly darker than the site's picture makes it look, as other people noted, and as you can see in my picture. The length was perfect with 3" heels. I usually wear a 6 but I got an 8 in this dress as recommended by the fit guide and it fit like a glove. I got tons of compliments on it - highly recommended!

I was very hesitant about renting this dress due to the low cut but it was not an issue once I applied a little fashion tape. The dress material was very lightweight and draped beautifully. Like other reviewers have stated, the dress is a darker shade of blue than pictured. I decided to get a nu-bra to avoid any wardrobe accidents while dancing. Loved this dress.

The long lenth was perfect...I am almost 5'8" and could wear 3 inch heels. I was worried about exactly what to wear underneath. The fashion tape really worked well to hold it in place. Then I just wore breast petals. Worked perfectly!

It was a great fit, true to size. It was also really comfortable. I was alittle hesitant renting a dress that i didnt try on but I had no problem at all! The only thing I would say is that the dress is a darker shade of blue unlike the picture, its more of a teal color. Also the bra issue. I wore fashion tape and it stayed the whole night.

I've rented this dress twice (once in pink, once in blue), and it's been perfect both times. The long version is long enough to wear with 5" heels, the top provides enough coverage to not need a bra, and it has these ties that wrap around your waist that ensure figure flattery for curvier girls. It's really loose in the hips so I would suggest ordering so that it fits your top half.

Such a beautiful dress. I was worried about the low-cut, but I felt so comfortable in the dress all night. I got many many compliments. I used some fashion tape to hold the front in place. I wore tall heels and the length was perfect. I was very sad to return the dress.

This dress fit like a glove and the color and draping made a big impact. I got so many compliments. I was worried about the deep v cut but I ended up being just fine. This is a great dress for smaller chested women; I think it would be difficult to wear and have everything stay in place if you have a larger chest. The color and cut make such a statement I kept my jewelry to a minimum. I was sure that I would wear a necklace, but you really don't need one. I recommend earrings and a bracelet. The length was great. I'm 5' 4" and got the Regular length; wore3 inches heels and I was just fine. Another amazing thing about this dress is how comfortable the fabric is - very soft and silky, feels great against the skin. A gorgeous statement making dress that is just really easy to wear.

I am the furthest thing from a fashionista and wouldn't know couture if it hit me over the head. That said, the idea of shopping for a dress for the Grammys really stressed me out (no wonder celebs have personal shoppers and stylists!) and when a friend suggested RTR I jumped all over it. The European sizing made me a little nervous but the 8R ended up fitting perfectly (I'm typically between a 2 and a 4.) My only "complaint" is that the regular length was a little too short for high heels which was surprising since I have short legs. I had to switch to a 1.5 inch kitten heel. Undergarment-wise I wore a Nu Bra which was seamless under the dress and stayed in place perfectly w/ the fashion tape included with the dress. Great bonus!

This is the 5th dress I've rented from RTR and each time has been a great success. I was a little confused when reading the reviews from others on whether they were putting the American conversion size down for the dresses they wore or using the British sizing. Anyhow, I rented this in an 8 and a 10R (British sizing) and went with the 10R. The 8R definitely fit but I felt like the 10R laid better across the front. There was no gapping at any point throughout the evening. The length was also perfect with 3 inch heels (I'm just a hair under 5'6.). I wore this to an Inaugural Ball and no one had anything similar on - color or style - which was fantastic. Thanks RTR!!!

I rented this ISSA dress for my cousin's wedding which took place on a cruise ship at the Port of Miami in December. The wedding was an afternoon affair, 1pm ceremony so I opted for a light color which is more of a peacock blue...which is even more beautiful live vs. in the pics. The 2L fit me perfectly (I am normally a size 4). I chose the LONG size (I am 5'8") and had to wear 3" heels because it was still quite long and I didn't want to trip on it while dancing. I had so many compliments and paired it with the Kate Spade Canary Statement earrings and rocked it with gold strappy 3" sandals and a matching clutch. Wish this dress was in my closet! Loved it!!!

comfortable and sexy

I was stopped by random people all night, including going the wrong way on the escalator, to tell me how beautiful this dress was! Made of jersey, it is extremely comfortable. True to size. Wore the Braza sticky bra recommended by RTR and it made everything perfect. Meaning it kept my boobs perky and in place and kept the dress from falling open. The dress was probably a half inch too long and I was wearing 4 inch heels but it made me feel like Princess Kate anyway!

rented both the 14r and 12r due to reviews warning me to size down. the 14r was very draped and fit ok but I prefer a more body skimming style and I chose to wear the 12. the zipper is in the front of the dress, and if you have a large bust you will have a hard time covering it with the wrap belt. because of my bust the dress pushed out at the chest and the zipper was not lying flat to my body like in the pictures. this might be better suited to someone with a smaller cup size. also the R length was somewhat short for 4" heels but somehow so draped and full of fabric that I still had to hold it up to walk without tripping. overall awesome dress, super comfortable fabric and more teal/darker blue than in the picture.

I wore this to a Prom and it was perfect in the sense that no one had anything like it! I'm 5' 6'' and I got the 2R (US) and it was a little bit short with 3'' heels. The dress itself fits very nicely. My only complain is that it had three small stains on the front, although I almost didn't even see them and I'm sure no one else saw them. I wore a gel sticky bra but I think one of those sticker ones would have been better. Really nice dress!

I usually wear a 2 and the dress fit me perfectly. I was worried it would be too low cut but it ended up looking elegant. I wore a stick on bra and taped the dress using fabric tape. Length was great for 3 inch heels.

I wasn't able to get the size I wanted, but it was easier to wrap the dress around to make it tighter! I would have worn the 6 but it was wayyy to short, so I went with the 10!

The waist ties around the middle, and doesn't leave a lot of options for a bra. Loved the feel of the fabric, very flowy and not a lot of structure.

I wore this dress to my boyfriends medical school gala. The wrap part of the dress is very flattering and I felt like a princess (I received compliments all night!). The only thing I would recommend is trying the different "covers" under the dress before the day of your event. It is a very thin material and shows everything on top!

I rented this dress for an inaugural ball and loved the color! It is a bit daring and might actually be better suited for a woman with curves but I certainly enjoyed wearing it; I got quite a few compliments that night! Thanks RTR for making the evening special.

I wore this dress to an Inaugural Ball so a pretty formal affair. It wasn't the first dress that I wanted to rent, but my primary criteria was to not wear black and this dress certainly fit the bill. I like the halter neckline, although I'm a bit short-waisted. It fit me very well, but I felt like the halther neckline was a tad big on me. I didn't use any fashion tape though, and just made a point to stand/sit up straight that night so the top fit best. It was a very easy dress to wear, very comfortable. And, I think it photographs well. I got many, many compliments. This is my second RTR experience and I'm a total convert! I love how easy it is and the options are so endless!

I used a sparkly broach to close the neckline slightly higher. It looked gorgeous and was easy to move in. I felt great!
