This dress is very light and flowy and made me feel glamorous without being over the top. I am 5'6" and rented the 2R and wore 4" heels and the dress still dragged a bit. The neck secures with a hook and eye clasp but I had to make it tighter so I did not use them. I was able to wear a sticky bra that had an ultra plunge neckline. I tried a NuBra type bra, and I could still see the clasp and bra through the key hole in the front. Overall, a beautiful dress!

I wore this for a fundraiser called "Sunset at the Zoo." The colors were perfect for the event with the reds and golds - it has a nice gold threading throughout. The picture does not really how how beautiful the fabric is, but I felt like a princess with how beautifully the dress moved when I walked. It was a very long, though, and even with high heels, people still stepped on the bottom. This is not the dress I originally picked out (there was damage to the one I ordered) but I am SO GLAD for the mistake because this dress was simply elegant and perfect. Thank you, Rent the Runway for a big win! :)

I wouldn't have picked this dress based on the pics from the site, it just didn't seem like the right colors, but I went to the RTR location at Henri Bendel (lucky that it's close, since I live in New York), and the stylist pulled it for me, and I'm so glad she did. The colors are actually more reds/pinks in person and the patten gives it a very free-spirited, boho vibe. The flow makes it more of a casual (in terms of wedding attire) choice, which is perfect for an out door wedding. I actually wore it with some swedish hasbeen platforms, so I wasn't sinking into the grass the whole time (a bonus!). Cons are that this dress might be tough for the bustier ladies, since the peekaboo neckline in front means you can't wear a bra. It was also really comfortable, though I did have to make sure I was standing up nice and straight (not a bad thing) so that I didn't flash some side boob! The cut out gives the dress a sexiness, but it's also subtle so that keeps it classy. I got the 2 in regular length, and with the platform shoes, it was still brushing the floor, so that's something to keep in mind if you are on the shorter side. Overall, I felt like a million bucks in this dress, and would highly highly recommend it!!

sooo awesome! Love this dress. Amazing print and fit so well in the bust area and waist. Its probably better for a-c cups, as you cannot wear a bra or just wear a nu-bra. Halter tie-neckline is adjustable. Fitted through waist and flowy for the hips! Love this maxi!

The zipper was a little tricky, it stuck and was hard to work. The dress is also VERY long, I am short and wore very tall wedges, but it was still super long.

This dress fit very true to size. I am 5'6" and it was a little long on me but not so much so that it impeded my walking. The top was reveling but not overly sexy. I received compliments all night.

I wore this to a military ball and I definitely stood out. I loved the colors and I didn't think it was too bright. It had shimmery detailing the fabric, which I also liked.

Seams were unraveling at the zipper and top when I got it. Luckily had a master seamstress as an aunt who fixed it morning-of. Definitely check that in the store / right away. Wore it bra-less. I'm pretty busty, but it held up really well.

The dress fit true to size. Just a little too long for the wedges I wore with it. I wore this dress to dinner in Mustique during a week long 40th birthday and wedding celebration.

Great dress. Beware it is SUPER SHEER. I prob needed a different bra option but it was fun to wear. Love the colors! Totally recommend!

This completely gorgeous dress was falling apart- clasps barely hanging on, tears in the fabric... Loved the look but definitely not a durable piece. Paired with gold high heeled sandals. Wished for a length between long and regular, which of course does not exist. I got lots of compliments on the dress.

Fit perfectly on top so good for someone with small bust like me. Only issue was it was a little long - the poor thing kept getting stepped on!

Fit: Top ~10" of dress very fitted, which you want since there's a deep eyehole. The girls aren't going anywhere in this dress (at least if you're a C cup or smaller). It was tight zipping up but once on looked great. I wore simple sandels (2" heel) & dress went to the floor. Would have been a better length with 3.5" heels but I didn't want to be taller than my fiance in the photos. :) My dimensions are 34"-28"-33" if that helps. Fabric: Gorgeous print! As others mentioned colors more vivid in person than on model. Fabric very light and had great movement (flows in back so make sure people walking behind you don't step on the end). One thing with the fabric: because it's so light it puffs a little in the skirt (ie the nonfitted part) so appearance/wise I think the dress looks better from the front than from the side - felt like it made me stomach look a bit wider from the side because the fitted part ends midway down the ribcage. Condition: I was a bit disappointed in the condition it was in. There are supposed to be 2 eyehooks to fasten the halter of the dress - one was missing, the other so loosely sewn on it was unwearable, so had to tie the halter straps to hold the dress up. The hook on the back of the dress was warped and unusable. Value: Rental price was $150. Given the condition the dress was in, and the fact that it is a very simple design, the value seems fair but not great. But it photographs beautifully and I am happy with how the pics came out, so I am satisfied with the rental

Gorgeous dress, the zipper was a little funny and it runs very long (5 foot 4 wearing 4 inch wedges). Loved it though wish it came in petite length

This dress was a show stopper. It was VERY flattering and the fabric was light and comfortable. the movement on the dress was incredible. I would highly recommend this dress!

It was the perfect mix of fun & colorful, yet classy & dressy. I wore it to my cousin's wedding and was comfortable in it all night.

This and another dress were shipped as alternates, they both fit great, but this one was perfect for the wedding. I wish I would have gotten the regular length, since it was hard to walk and dance in. Overall, it worked great!

i'm typically between a 2 and 4 and went with the 4. the petite length was great at 5'3" and I could've worn flats or heels. the issue was the sizing. the fabric was very soft and flowing. i have a larger rib cage and struggled for a moment getting that part zipped up. when i finally did my boobs were sagging because that area was too large. based on photos from other reviewers i get the sense that my dress must have been stretched out because people with a smaller chest did not have that issue, if anything i should've felt like the chest area was tight! RTR customer service was absolutely amazing and sent me another dress that would arrive the next day even though my order was unlimited and not a regular order! they made an exception because it is likely an issue with the dress. i cannot stress enough how much the customer service elevates the RTR experience!

This dress didn't work for me. I ended up having to exchange it at the store in NYC. It ran very small, couldn't get it zipped. I usually fall somewhere between a 4 and 6 so depending on the dress either can work. I also think I was too short (5'2) for this dress. the neck line was long and I would have had to rig the tie around the neck instead of using the designed hook and eye so that it was tight. Also, the keyhole at the bust was a bit too revealing for me. Overall gorgeous dress on the right gal. It's also worth mentioning that the sales gals at the store were VERY helpful and ended up finding me a gorgeous Rachel Zoe Maxi.

I ended up not wearing this dress because it was simply to sheer. It is a beautiful print and does have a coral/orange slip lining, but it was still too sheer. This is probably better suited for a younger person.

I was unable to wear this gown at all unfortunately because the chest was too large for me. It was evident that it was not filled out as the fabric falls and is flowy. I am a 36B and ordered a size 12. Otherwise, it was a gorgeous dress and I wish I could have worn it. The fabric is interesting, yet dark enough to not be too flashy. The fabric is light and airy.

This dress is much prettier in person than in the picture, but the waist/torso was too small for me, and I couldn't zip it.

I LOVEDDDDD this dress. Pretty and sexy, can be dressed up or down and so lightweight! Only reason for 4 stars is bc the one I received was pretty well worn. Nothing terrible but threads were fraying and the neck tie part had seen better days. All in all, it was perfect and true to size!

A bit hard to dance as it is so long but I just held it up. This dress dug in very badly underneath my armpits where the wire was holding up the bodice and by the end of the night I was bloody from it! Also by the end of the night the sticky bra I wore wasn't sticking anymore because I sweat so much! Just something to keep in mind if you plan on wearing a sticky bra. Also the dress is straight see-through when you spread your legs. The pattern isn't as pronounced in person or in photos, more glimmery and sheer. Knowing all that, it was a beautiful dress for a Mexico wedding on the beach and I love the photos from the night. Will add.

This dress actually has a lot of sparkle to it because of thick gold threads that run through all of it. I would have worn it, but I could not zip the back up. If you are busty, or have a broader back, order a size up or pass on this one.
