I wore this dress to a charity gala and it was perfect! The waist is very form fitting but that adds a lot to the silhouette as this dress is more covered-up than most. The low back and is the most "wow" part not pictured here and you need a backless bra. The lace is a turquoise/green and is a simply stunning color. I was so sad to return this dress!

Returning it to RTR was difficult as I absolutely loved this dress. I wore it for my senior prom and received many, many compliments. It was comfortable, classic, and exactly my style. When I went to place the order they didn't have my usual size available so I took a risky move and ordered the size 6. Though it was a little roomy in the waist, it fit perfectly everywhere else and I'm really glad I sized up - it made it much more comfortable to dance in. I'm 5'8" and I paired the dress with 3", nude pumps which left the dress hanging just above the ground - perfect for pictures and moving around. I would absolutely recommend this dress!

The 8R fit perfectly. I wore it with flats though because it was the perfect length for my height. I'm a full B cup and was able to do without a bra because of the open back. It was a wedding in Miami and the fabric felt light, didn't feel hot at all the entire day/evening. Only complaint was that the top clasps would come undone sometimes while I was dancing. Had to ask people to re-do it for me. Still, felt incredible in it and would absolutely rent it again.

Great dress very small in the waist but it made for a pretty shape. I am 5 5 and wore 4 inch heels and the 4L fit perfectly. Also RTR has the most amazing customer service, would absolutely rent this dress again!

I am usually a size 0 in most dresses, so i rented the smallest size, the 2R. It fit perfectly. I am 5'3 and wore 4" heels and the length was great. i would highly recommend this dress!

RTR saved the day by sending me this dress super last minute after the size of the dress I ordered wasn't available. It was perfect. I'm 5'7'' and with 3-inch heels, the dress was a perfect length. It is very fitted around the waist, but I could still sit, eat and dance comfortably.

TEENY, TINY fit. i wore the 2R and am usually a true 0. The fabric has no stretch/give whatsoever and the chest/rib/waist/shoulder areas are very narrow - the dress JUST fit me. I wish i had the 2L since I wanted to wear higher heels. The 2R was SLIGHTLY too short in my 3.5 inch heels (i'm 5'6"), but it wasn't terribly noticeable. dress was gorgeous - one of my favorite rentals ever.

This dress was my first RTR rental, I only ordered one size so I was nervous about the length and fit. The length was perfect, just slightly touching the floor with 120mm heels. The waist is very fitted, but I was still able to dance/sit just fine. Overall this dress was incredible, the color is perfect for blondes! My only con is the dress arrived extremely wrinkled!! My boyfriend had to send it out to get steamed prior to the event which added stress.

This dress is incredible. Beautiful, rich green/blue color... perfect length (with 3.5 inch heels)... gorgeous lace... amazing shape. I wore with the Oscar earrings that are on the model (can't see them very well in the photo and because of my dark hair, but they were awesome, too!) Classy, timeless dress. Be aware that this dress does run small, especially in the teenie-tiny waist. If I was to rent again, I would likely go with a size up.

I didn't wear this dress for a couple reasons: I'm 5'6.5" and the 6R was too short unless I wanted to wear flats (note that in the photo, I'm barefoot), and while the fabric is lovely, it's pretty bright and solid, plus, as an hourglass, I would say that it's better suited for straighter and narrower types.

Dress was such a beautiful color with the lace and cap sleeve effect. Wore this to a Gala/Auction and made the society pages. Runs a little small in the waistline so don't err on the small side nor the short side.

This dress is very comfortable and easy to wear. The color is really stunning and easy to wear by all skin tones. The pint on the dress is interesting an understated, which, I think, makes it a unique option for your upcoming event. The overall fit of the dress is true to size. I typically wear a size 10, and I wore a size 8R here - I could have gone up a size. I am also 5'6", and I had one 3.5" heels - I could have used a long length dress. The feel of the dress is wonderful and very easy. This is a great option for an evening to cocktail affair. I think that due to the color and pattern on the dress, it could work well in either environment. The closure of this dress is a back zipper, so if you choose to wear this you will need someone around to zip you into this. The overall shape of the dress is a sheath, so I feel it is good for all shapes outside of pear shapes and those with broad shoulder. In fact, if you have broad shoulder or wider hips and are considering this look, you will certainly need to go up a size for your backup size. For all other shapes, I would consider going down a size for your backup. All in all - this is a fabulous dress. It's easy to wear with minimal fuss, is standard bra friendly, and is great for a multitude of shapes.

You will probably want to size up. Dress has zero stretch. Also, the"long" length wasn't very long.

Definitely runs large. RTR didn't have a 2 available, so I had to make the 4 fit. Complements all night long!

This fit just right, but I will say that it could have been a little longer. I'm 5'9 and thought it could have been a inch longer. I wore flat shoes, so it wasn't an issue. Also, it did smell a little around the top, so I had to febreeze it which fixed that. Overall, the dress was great.

Runs pretty much true to size. Could have worn either the 6 or the 8, but the tighter fitting looked better. Only issue is the clasp at the neck came undone a lot. My boyfriend got very sick of buttoning it for me.

I have a weird body with a large rib cage and am top heavy so the top was a bit loose because of the open back but the rest of the dress fit perfectly. The bride even stopped me and said "you look hot!"

im usually a 4/6, in this dress im a 6/8, very tight around the waist. i am 5'10 and ordered the long, it was still not long enough but everyone took their shoes off at the wedding so in the end it didnt matter. highly recommend the dress

This is a stunning dress that is luxurious and well made. The problem is the waist is tiny and is hard to close on your rib cage. The 2R fit perfectly everywhere but I could not zip the final two inches. I will try the 4R and 6R next time. (I am normally a 2R) The color is intense and memorable. There was also one small tear on the back lace bodice, so be sure to check the dress carefully. Will try again.

I didn't end up wearing the dress because I was not able to get the Long length. I thought the regular might work, but the bottom of the dress landed just above my ankles. The material wasn't as nice as I expected it to be, but the color was amazing and it did fit well, other than length. I'm 5-7 so if you plan to wear heels, get the long!

I'm a curvy size 6, and I sized up as recommended. The dress fit, but the high neckline looked strange. It sort of made me look matronly. I ended up wearing my backup dress instead.

The waist on this dress is high. Also, the shoulders are extremely narrow. So, if you've got athletic shoulders or arms this dress may not work for you.

This dress ran very small, I normally wear a size 4 and even the 6 was snug. Recommend a size up from your regular especially if you're busty. I'm not and it was still tight. Also, the tall is not very long. It was way to short for me even if I had worn flats. Would not recommend if over 5'8". The fabric has zero stretch as well so it's really a dress that needs to be tailored to your body.

This runs small. I am a 0 and I wore a 4 as it was the only available size. I thought it was going to be a little large, but the waste of this dress is quite small.

I received many compliments on the color, tasteful open back, and fabric. The sheath silhouette was perfect! It was a beautiful canvas for a statement earring or clutch. If you're 5'7 and up planning to wear a heel, I would go with your size in the L version!

This dress fit me like a glove. The color is stunning. I usually can't do capped sleeves because of my lats, but this worked out fine for me.

This dress is a show-stopper with the color and cut-out back. That said, it is super SUPER small through the frame. I usually take a 4L, and at a size 6L, this dress was never going to zip up over my broader ribs. If you have a very narrow frame, you might be fine with a size up, but for any athletic body-types, I would say size up by 2.

Fits tight in the waist but stunning no slip needed fits seamless

Unfortunately, this dress was too short for us tall ladies, even in the L version. I didn't end up wearing this dress. The color was beautiful, the back was pretty, but there is no way I could have work even a tiny heel with it. Also, because of the high neckline, I felt like my arms were trapped and I couldn't raise them very much. Too bad!

The length would never work if you are 5'7" or taller. The color is beautiful. The style is great. The back is very dramatic. It runs extremely small to zip around the waist. The eye (for the hook and eye) was missing, so the zipper wanted to slide back down. It was my backup dress, so I did not wear it (not that I would have been able to wear it due to zipper and length). Also, I was emailed the day before the dress was to arrive that my ordered dress was not available. It is very stressful not getting what you wanted. My daughter's ordered dresses never arrived for our event. They said they would refund our money, but you have to have a backup plan when Rent the Runway cannot deliver as promised.
