One of my favorite RTR dresses so far. I wore this to a wedding and I received compliments all night on the fabric and the open back. I have a fuller chest and the top was a bit tight and impacted the opening of the dress in the back. It didn't look like the pictures on me but it was still gorgeous. I wore this dress with wedge heels and it was the perfect length.

This dress is super comfortable but definitely still appropriate for a formal affair. The material is very light so probably best for summer. As other reviewers mentioned the dress does stick out a little right by the armpits but you can fix this with fashion tape. I did find it ran a little large as the 10 was loose on me.

Although the bottom of the dress was a bit see through I wore a skin colored skin like thong. Your legs are visible only in certain light so I thought it was fine. The dress was long so I wore 4-5inch wedged heels that worked out.

fit true to size, although the cut is a bit loose on the the sides of the bust. I wore a stick on bra, and felt totally comfortable all night.

This dress was awesome! I wore it to my senior prom and felt great all night. The one con is the skirt is see-through, so you definitely need to wear a slip. I wore a sticky bra with the dress, but for the most part I don't think you'd really need to wear any bra. I'm 5' 7" and with 2.5-3 inch heels, the skirt was just an inch or two above the floor, so it wasn't too long, which made walking and dancing easy. The dress is super comfortable! Highly recommended! Photographs really well.

Absolutely loved this dress. I ordered 2 sizes 4R and 4L based on reviews. I'm 5'4" and felt that even with 3" heels the 4L was too long. I'm a borderline 4/6 in size, and agree that because the back is open you should go with the lower of the sizes. I recommend wearing a slip or black boy shorts with it because in the light it's slightly see through. The color is bright and looks gorgeous! There's a keyhole in the chest area as well. The tie around at the waist gives you a slimming effect. It's flowy and you can dress it up or down with all sorts of silver or gold accessories which is really nice.

Really vibrant and different. Loved the fabric (pretty blue with gold and silver intertwined) and the open back cut. Some things to note beforehand- first, the bottom of the dress is a bit see through so be sure to have a slip. second, the top front has an opening. It's nothing too exposing but I ended up using fashion tape to close the slit.

the nice thing about this dress is that the size didn't matter so much, since it kind of wrapped around it was easy to adjust. The fabric was really beautiful, kind of sparkly and filmy. I loved it.

Fit was fairly true to size, I was able to size down a bit because of the open back, but I might have been more comfortable in an 8. I wore a nubra as well as a nude half slip (based on other reviews that the skirt was see through in some light). This was the only size available, so luckily it fit great! The sides do gap a bit (near the armpit), which is the only reason I did not give this dress 5 stars. I got compliments all night long, and felt so graceful moving around the ballroom. I am about 5'2-5'3, and with 4" heels the dress just grazed the ground.

The dress was nice, although I must admit that I do not like dresses that tie in the back. I wore the dress to a ball... it was out-of-state, so I had the dress delivered directly to my hotel. If I were at home, I would have covered the waist tie with a decorative belt (instead of tying it in back). Also, the dress did slightly stick out, as indicated by others, in the breast area; however, it was not too bad. All-in-all, I was pleased with my rental experience, and I would definitely consider renting again.

It was a gorgeous, light fabric. The back is sexy, you need a strapless/backless bra though. The only thing didn't fit perfectly is the sides by the underarm. They were a little big and could have used some tape. Other than that, I loved this dress!

I wore this dress for a black tie wedding in early summer at a formal venue. The dress' length made it feel formal, but the material was light enough not to feel constrictive. The wrap-front and open back were flattering, but the slit in the bodice is barely noticeable. I wish it would have been more visible, as it would have broken up the long column of fabric. Ordered the 8L but was not available - 8R was a little short in 4" heels (5'10") but made walking up and down stairs easier. I agree with other reviewers that the skirt is a bit transparent if you catch the light wrong - but a strategically placed hand / clutch / tuxedo jacket will keep you safe!

fits great and is flattering. it shows off your back in a way that for me personally was not the most flattering but overall looked great.

Dress was a huge success and I received loads of compliments all night. The colors are more vibrant than in the photo. I was worried that the gold and silver threading would be too gaudy, but it was perfect. I wore a slip since the material is a little sheer. I also tacked the 4" "keyhole" slit shut since it was a little too revealing for a swanky beach formal affair.

I loved everything about the fit of this dress, except for the length! It was much longer than I thought it would be. I'm 5'5 1/2 and didn't think the length would be an issue - so was disappointed when I first put it on and the fabric was pooling. I put on the tallest shoes I could find and still had the slightest graze on the floor. It luckily was not an issue with the platform wedges, but definitely something I would have hemmed if I personally owned it! Best for taller women.

This dress was great for the beach wedding I went to. The top fit was a little off on the sides (the material didn't lay flat), but overall the fit was good. I used a Nubra which worked well. A slip is a must, because you can absolutely see through the dress in certain lighting situations. I wore black underwear, but I was rushed to get ready and just had to hope that no one was looking ;) The regular length was perfect for flats.

This dress is a bit large on top and is great for girls with a larger bust. A slip is a good idea! Also, it looks amazing with gold accents.

The Dress: The picture of this gown really doesn't do it justice. The pattern is much more beautiful in person and actually has tiny gold threads throughout. I'm typically a 6/8 in ISSA, but because the back is open I actually was able to wear the 6. I'm also fairly short (5'5), but if you plan on wearing heels get the long (I wore 3.5 in heels and the length just skimmed the ground.) Definitely a fun dress that's equally appropriate for a ball or a more casual event. And...it's pretty lucky too...my boyfriend proposed to me just a few moments after I took my RTR photo! About the Customer Service: Amazing. The dress I reserved for the event—the ISSA French Riviera Gown—came back to RTR totally unwearble...the day BEFORE i left to attend the Krewe of Columbus Mardi Gras Ball in Mobile. Obviously not an ideal situation. Luckily, I work near their showroom in NYC. When I showed up, in tears, the ladies there couldn't have been more helpful and kind. Not only did they help me find a dress (which I'll say was even more magical than the one I originally purchased). They refunded my order and sent me away with new earrings (the old ones didn't match the new dress) free of charge.

The dress runs large in waist and bust area and very see through. The color is beautiful

Very comfortable and felt great all day. A little on the shorter side if i had any longer heels it would be awkward length.

I fell in love with this dress online. The back is absolutely amazing! That said, the fit is a bit weird. It was tight in some places (under the arms) but loose in others (bust and waist). I ended up using a few pins and some fashion tape to get it to fit just as I wanted to. With that, it was perfect. I wore a 4L (2L fit but 4 gave me more room to adjust). It was just long enough for me with flat sandals.

This was a stunning dress! It was super light and comfortable, perfect for summer! I wore it with 3-inch heels and the length was just right. The metallic strands in the fabric are both gold and silver, so you can choose whichever metal you prefer for accessories. There was a little loose fabric around the bust, as some of the other reviews mentioned, although it seemed like it was mostly because I have a high waist, but there was ample room in the bust (it wasn't stretching awkwardly, or showing too much cleavage through the keyhole). I would definitely consider this dress again. It was a perfect for a formal event event where you don't want to feel too dressed up (and just a little sexy).

It fit well. The straps are not adjustable

You need to wear a convertible bra since the back is open. Otherwise this dress is very well fitting and flattering!

Good for athletic body

I'm 5'3" and 155 lbs and dress fit perfect. I'm not as well endowed, but some double sided taped make the halter top fit like a custom dress. Wore platform heels and danced the night away without worries about stepping on the dress. Fit well into a black tie wedding. If you wear a bar extender, the flow of the dress covers the stomach where the bra extender crosses your body (so you can go backless) -- great fit.

Incredibly flattering, top is snug enough that you don't need a bra (back is too low for most strapless).

While this dress was absolutely gorgeous, it simply did not fit my frame well, thus was unflattering. Ordered a 10R and a 12R of the Badgley Mischka "Make Love Not War"purple dress for my brother's wedding in Miami. As the 12R was not available, RTR kindly send a 10R AND a 12R of this ISSA gown at no additional charge. The 10R "Badgley Mischka sadly did not fit, but the ISSA was so much prettier in person. The fabric is so light, yet really makes a statement when in the light with it's gold and silver threading (so either gold or silver accent pieces will work). However, keeping the light and modesty in mind, be sure to wear a long, preferably flowing black slip for underneath as you can see right through. You can even wear your Spanx or whatever under that. No bra is necessary, at least not for me at a 38B, but it is backless and very low down the back at that. And when choosing a length, with my 3" heels I was at 5'11". With the REGULAR length you could see a bit of my shoes, still, I am glad that I didn't order the LONG. As far as the fit....while I am tall at 5'8", I think this dress is meant for thinner frames. The 10R fit with room to spare, but I just did not look good in it. The midsection is meant to be wrapped around your waist, but the minute you sit down that beautiful criss-cross scarf design will move up and be half it's width before you know it. I don't know why, but I looked just plain heavy in it. I am currently 160lb at 5'8" and fit into the 10R. I don't know what happened or what I was expecting to look like, LOL. The dress is beautiful and the customer service was amazing. I highly recommend RTR.

This dress was extremely comfortable, and I got a lot of complements. I am 5'4" and ordered a 2R. I tried the dress on when it arrived, and I knew right away that it was way too short. The dress did not even touch the floor when I was barefoot. Fortunately, RTR had a 2L available that they sent to me. The 2L was perfect with 3.5" heels on.

Fit true to size. Was for my daughter to wear. 5'3" perfect fit.

I could only try on a size 10 in the boutique and was convinced by the stylist to get a size 4 and 6 rather than a size 2 and 4. I wish I had gotten a two because I needed a fair amount of tape to prevent the lower back from sagging. I don't think you need a slip like others have said but I was at a nighttime event.

This dress was beautiful for an outdoor formal affair. My primary dress didn't work out - but this was a great back-up. Was very comfortable and easy to move in. Only issue I had was the fit of the sides on the chest - was a bit big on top.

The dress is quite see through in the skirt, so make sure you have a slip!

The fabric on this dress is lovely, and I loved the bodice from the front. On my size 12 frame, the open back seemed really wide and wasn't terribly flattering, and the petite length was too short even for flats (surprising, since I'm only 5'4"). I'd recommend going with the regular length unless you're under 5'3". Also, definitely requires a slip - you can see right through the full length of the skirt.

I rented this for a fall wedding but ended up going w my backup dress. The dress would be beautiful for an evening beach wedding but the material was thin and came across a little cheap... it was also completely see-through, making it completely inappropriate for a wedding in NYC. It also ran very short, the 2L was still about 2 inches too short for me with a lower heel. But again, I think it would be great for a beach wedding.

I rented this dress for a wedding, but unfortunately did not get the chance to wear it because I ended up feeling uncomfortable by how low cut the back is. The dress is really stunning, and if you're cool with showing a little skin in a sexy, classy way than I would highly recommend it!

I read most of the reviews on this dress but loved it anyways and ordered it. It really is a beautiful dress but it did not fit me properly. The chest area was too big by my armpits and flared out to the point that everyone I showed it to said I could not wear it without having to alter it. Also, the fabric is really delicate so I was afraid of damaging it. I did not end up wearing the dress.

Fit very well. I am curvy and this was forgiving.
