This dress fit me perfectly and I was so reluctant to take the dress off at the end of the night! I didn't wear Spanx, but I understand what a previous reviewer was talking about in reference to this dress being body-hugging! I was able to wear a regular bra, though, because of the way the straps sat. I have a very small ribcage, so the small waist worked well for my body shape, but I would recommend sizing up if you have a larger chest and/or ribcage. I also needed help zipping it up, so I would recommend having a friend nearby to help!

my size isn't available any more, apparently, but it was an amazing dress. i have no complaints. the mid section is a little tight, but it worked perfectly.

This dress fit great. I'm usually between a 4 and 6 US so I ordered the UK 10R and the 12R based on the advice that it runs a bit small. 10R was a snugger fit which seemed appropriate for the style of the dress so I wore that one. I wore flats so if I had wanted to wear 2-3" heels the 12R would have been better. With even higher heels I probably would have wanted the 10L. Spanx and a strapless bra are needed. Tons of compliments and I made a lot of referrals to RTR!

As others have described, it is UK sizing, and so even though I am usually a 0/2, I wore an 8R. It is very fitted, I ended up wearing a spanx slip underneath for extra converage, which worked perfectly. I loved the color and got so many compliments! I wore 4.5inch heels and it was still a tiny bit long on my 5'2 frame. Definitely a standout dress!

I got this dress to attend a function with my boyfriend and he told me about this function at the very last minute so getting the right dress was of MAJOR IMPORTANCE. I am pretty petite so the fit was most important to me. I am always concerned about how a dress is going to fall and whether it is going to look right on my small frame. It fit just right and it fell perfectly in the right area. It was a little complicated putting on but I finally figured it out. You need to wear at least a 3-inch heel because the length of the dress is pretty long so you need the height. I would absolutely get this dress again if I had to!

This gown is a great color that will look fantastic on almost any coloring. I really like the sleeve/one shoulder combination as well. I tried on the UK 6 which was too tight right under the waist band. I liked the way the UK 8 fit better on me, more comfortable! This dress is great for any bust size and has a good amount of stretch too it. It's a dress I would recommend Spanx for is someone is body of their stomach area just because of the way it lays. Very comfortable though! Winner!

It is a beautiful dress and i got a lot of compliment on the color. The front is beautiful with interesting drapes. The back is just uninteresting and very conservative look. I normally love dresses with interesting back, so it might be just me. My usual size is 0-2 and i picked, US2- UK8 R. This size is not too tight on me but definitely recommend spanx for smooth look. The clingy fabric shows every single bump and curve. I am 5'5" and wearing 4 inch heal, the length is perfect.

I rented this dress for my prom because it was the only one I'd been interested in trying on when I was in the showroom (I was in from out of town). It's very simple, which I like, even though I was initially looking for something more exciting. I rented the "Yours to Keep" emerald earrings to go with this dress and I think it really made the outfit. As far as fit goes, this does run really small and the sash at the waist hits in kind of an awkward place, so I'd recommend spanx - the material is also clingy so that's pretty much the only form of underwear that won't show anyway. Overall, this wasn't a "wow" dress but it was a good classic look.

Fit was great! Unfortunately, there was a split in the left seam about 3 inches long. I had to have my neighbor sew it up in order for me to wear the dress.

Very beautiful dress that has a sort of Grecian feel to it. I wore it for prom and got tons of compliments... Would have given if five stars if not for some structural issues with the dress. The was a rip in the seam that was pretty small and my friends mom stitched it for me, which wasn't too big of a deal. Once I put the dress on while getting ready, the zipper got stuck because something was wrong with the teeth, but it was already on so I didn't care much.... Right before prom ended the teeth just kind of gave up so I pinned it. Hopefully they will fix this for the next renter as it is a truly stunning dress. As a side note, I would definitely recommend wearing spanx shorts under this dress just to make it fall smoothly. If you follow the sizing conversion chart you should be fine... I'm usually a 4L so I ordered the 10L and it was perfect. This is a great dress to wear if you want to be comfortable and be able to dance.

Thankfully the RTR go-to-gal sized me up TWO WHOLE sizes on this gown, because it was so gorgeous and it would have upset me not to wear it. The waistband really sat more at my ribcage, making zipping the dress a pain. Once it was on it really stood out in a sea of black dresses and was worth the trouble!

I am usually a size 2, sometimes a 0. I wore the size 4 in this and it was very snug. I would definitely size up for this. The color is pretty and the fabric hangs nicely. Lovely neckline.

I got a lot of compliments on this dress, but please note that it was extremely hard to get on and off (not because of it being too small, just the design). the "belt" goes around the zipper meaning that you need to get the teeny tiny waist over your shoulders. Once on, it was super comfortable. Also the zipper stuck, to the point that my fiance needed to find some pliers to get it down. I want to emphasize that the dress was not tight AT ALL once on, so to have these types of problems was surprising. I would definitely get one size bigger than you think you need.

I had high hopes for this dress, but was kind of disappointed when I put it on. The color was great and the material makes it super comfortable, but it just didn't fit the way I wanted it to. You will need some good spanx or a slip of some sort to smooth out the profile given the way it lays across the hips and stomach. It was also a little long (then again, I'm short) and I would suggest at least a three inch heel for those who lack some height. The dress is a great color and could be more casual/formal depending on how you do your hair and accessories.

I loved wearing this dress. Very flattering for an hourglass figure, and enough bodice coverage to wear a convertible bra with straps. I'm 5'7 and wore 5 inch heels with the long fitting and the gown grazed the floor perfectly.

Yes, beautiful color and great draping and if you get this dress early (before a lot of people have had it) it won't be short. As with other ISSA dresses, though, if they've had this for awhile, I'd pay attention to the reviews and see if people start saying that it's running short. This fabric can shrink if it's been cleaned often. Point being, talk to the stylists. Ask them questions about how long this dress has been in stock and, if people are saying its shrinking, go with a longer length. If you're tall, you may need to pass entirely. The sizing on this ISSA is confusing. This dress is in UK sizes and even with the US equivalents, it run small. For example, I usually wear a between a US 2 and 4 and so I ordered the equivalent UK 6 and 8. Both too small. So, I'd say order your size and one up when going with this dress. It is lovely, the color is stunning, but the fabric is just a stretch jersey, nothing exciting.

I was so disappointed. This would have been the perfect dress but RTW sent me my dresses in UK sizes--which was a 2 and 4 rather than a US 6 or 8. I had no idea that I was supposed to convert to British sizes when I was ordering. I almost squeezed into the US size 4... but the US size 6 would have been perfect.

I rented this dress for a black tie work event. I picked it because it was modest enought to wear around a bunch of colleagues, with cap sleeves, a somewhat loose top, and no crazy slits or plunging necklines like a lot of black tie gowns. It was fine, but overall I was disappointed. I'm a 36B and the top was overly loose on me. I think it would look better on C/D cup girls. Also, the dress arrived very wrinkled. I ironed the whole thing out and it was wrinkled again within a couple hours. The crepe draped nicely but wrinkled really quickly. I'm a size 8 and 5' 10" and the 12L fit well. I wore it with 3" heels but tripped on the hem a little. 4" heels would have been a better but I don't own heel that high. The bottom half of the dress is VERY clingly. Unless you do crunches every day you will want some Spanx. Overall, a perfect dress for big-busted girls with flat stomachs. Just not for me.

Gorgeous dress, great color, lovely fabric. Fit just all wrong for me: too long, too much skirt, and bodice too blousy (though possibly I picked the wrong size). Luckily this ended up being a backup dress and I didn't need to wear it!

I rented this dress for a black tie wedding and received it on Thursday evening. I usually wear a 4 or 6 so I got a UK 8 and UK 10. When I went to take the dresses out they looked so small. I could barely get the 8 on and the 10 I got on, but it wouldn't zip. I was extremely disappointed, but I could tell that the dress would be really great if it fit so I immediately called RTR. They were extremely helpful and overnighted me the 2 next sizes up of the dress. I got them and am a little perplexed because the next size up, the UK 12 is a bit large and definitely longer. I can pull it off, but definitely wish it were a little more snug. Overall, I think the dress is beautiful but I would say to definitely size up and maybe even have a back up in case it doesn't work. There weren't any reviews on the site when I rented this, so I hope this helps someone. Oh and I am busty, 36D and I was worried that you couldn't wear this with a regular bra, because I hate wearing strapless bras, but you totally can.

This dress looks amazing, but is not forgiving to people who plan on eating, breathing, or just being. I recommend doubling down on shapewear in this dress.

This dress runs true to size. The 6R was the perfect fit and length for me to wear with 3" heels; however, the zipper kept getting stuck where the material is gathered around the waist. The zipper actually broke before my event. I called RTR and they sent me the 8R, which still would have worked size wise, but it was way too long... At least 3 inches too long with heels on. I tried to pin it around the waist, but ended up giving up and wearing my backup dress. If you rent the 6R make sure the zipper has been fixed!
