The 10 was too big, but the 8 was damaged and RR was unable to send it. It is short, so be careful if you lift your arms up!

Loved this dress! i wish a 6 would have been available. I had ordered the 4 as my backup but was too small. I got many compliments on the dress. Also photographed very nicely. I had read other reviews wear people mentioned pairing with nude shoes. I think the coloring of the dress looks much better with brown or gold. (I went with gold). Only negative I could see with the dress is the length. It was perfect for me but am only 5"1. there's no way someone taller could wear without tights or be able to sit comfortably or raise their arms.

The size 8 fit but the arms were kind of tight. The size 10 was perfect fit for my arms and the perfect length.

I got so many compliments on this dress... you can't see in the photo, but I wore nude pumps and minimal jewelry so the dress would be center stage. While the event was a day event I wanted to look polished but trendy. I like clothes with a retro vibe and this was really fabulous. I wish I owned it and would consider renting it again. The sleeves were snug around my forearm, so if you are a little heavy in the arm area, you may want to go a size up.

I wore the 2 which fit because it is a shift. The sleeves were a tad tight so you could size up and be a bit more comfortable. The fabric is beautiful and I got tons of compliments! It's mini (mid-thigh on me and I'm 5'6")

I wore this to a work function. I did forget I work with television set decorators so the majority of the night people asked if they could touch the fabric because it had a very upholstery feel. It got attention so I guess it worked!

I loved this dress, but I chose not to wear it for my occasion. I ordered it in the 8 and 10, but the 8 got destroyed and I had to choose another dress. The ten was just too big through the chest and waist area to work right. The 8 would have been perfect! Watch out though, it is really short! I'm not a tall lady and it was still boarder line too short for my taste.

I am busty so it was great in the chest but large on the bottom. Super comfortable and loved how different it was. Great for a party.

I usually wear size 4's and so I ordered 4 and 6, but order 6 and 8.

I wore this to an Indian wedding luncheon where most women were wearing elaborately embellished saris. This dress fit right in. It was shimmery but not too "cocktail / evening" feel to it. The arms were a bit tight, as was the bust. It has a "boxy" fit, so it you don't have a small waist, this will fit nicely.

The 4 fit, but if you're curvy...but I wore the size 6 because my breast felt smashed in the 4. So I'd step up the size one notch if you are at least a C cup.

Since Issa is a UK brand, I asked a stylist what size I should get since normally the sizing runs really small compared to US sizes. Unfortunately, the UK size 8 I got was enormous and seriously was like a big boxy bubble around me. I had been looking forward to wearing it for my company holiday party but thankfully I ordered a backup dress...I really wish I had gone with a UK size 4, though, because I think it is probably really cute with the proper fit. Other than that, the fabric is really beautiful and this dress is perfect for the holidays...really wish the sizing was more clear on this site, especially since they randomly have a nondescript "size 2" mixed in with the rest.

The dress was a beautiful turquoise/aqua color with brown and brown design and definitely looked very different from what everyone else was wearing at the wedding. I liked it a lot, but it is very short. I wore thick tights that looked like leggings and it was ok but I had to be careful if I lifted my arms over my head to make sure the hem didn't rise too high. Also, it is a very thick dress. I am glad that I rented it for a winter wedding because I definitely would have been too hot in it for a summer wedding. I have read in some other reviews that the arms are pretty tight. It wasn't too bad for me, but it was a little snug around the elbows. Overall, I am glad that I rented it, but I probably won't rent it more than once.

I received this one size too big but even an 8 might have been too large. Its a very gorgeous pattern and has a lot of layers, so its definitely a Fall/Winter style. Would love to try it on in an 6 and 8 but I felt like a sumo wrestler in a 10!

I am normally a size 6 in dresses, but size 8 was the only size in stock, so I ordered it because I loved it, and it fit perfectly.

This dress was beautiful.. Unfortunately I was stuck with my backup size because the size I wanted was unavailable last minute (RTR let me choose a new dress that was twice as expensive). This dress was a little too big for me but the fabric and the pattern look incredible in person. I definitely recommend it.

This dress is perfect for someone with an apple figure, or someone who just wants to wear something loose, or possibly and expecting mother. It is very short, I'm 5.1, and although I usually don't wear this short it worked out fine for the event. I wore this to a theatre fundraising event and received sooo many compliments. The event started during early evening so the sun was still out and made this dress really shimmer and stand out. I would have liked a size 6, but none were available. The dress is showing signs of wear so I'm thinking it will go on the "For Sale" column the next time RTR has a sale.

This is a short dress. It is also tight at the bust and shoulders, I have a larger bust. I paired it with some brown tights and brown boots for a fancy dinner. I received more than enough compliments on this dress to know it's something special.

Great dress to show off legs!

I am short, but have a long inseam. This is great for showing off your legs and hiding any tummy. The fabric has no give, but I do think it runs a bit large thru the torso. Divine dress!

I wore this to a rehearsal dinner for a very formal wedding. I am typically a size 8. Rent the Runway did not have a 6 available in the dress, so I ordered a size 8 and a 10. The 8 was fine and probably what i would have gone with even though it was a tiny bit baggier than I typically like. The 6 would probably have been too short. When the dress arrived the green looked darker than what is pictured. That threw me, but I tried it on anyways. TRUST ME- TRY IT ON! It looks so much better on than on the hanger.

Pros- Colors are vibrant... Cons- Very, Very short, and the sleeves are a quarter length, but gives the dress an edgy look without being to formal. Yes, I will rent again! Fits true to size, and I wore it with shoes other than brown. Edgy Look!

If you don't like very short dresses, do not attempt this dress. If you like body hugging styles, do not attempt this dress. If you like fashion forward, show stopping dresses, this is perfect for you. I wore it for a day of sightseeing/partying and had too many compliments to count. I've rented it twice and I am desperate to own it. It is my favorite of many dresses I have rented from RTR. I simply must own this dress.

Loved this dress! As others have noted the sizing is weird and I went down to the 2 equivalent. The fabric is very heavy and beautifully embroidered. I wore it to dinner at a formal French restaurant in New Orleans and I got compliments on it all night. I did wear it with a sports bra underneath, the thickness of the fabric combined with a 34c did no favors. Other than athletic bras, I paired it with a nude pump & lip and a slicked back bun on the top of my head.

I got SO many compliments on this at the wedding. It was cool outside so the sleeves were perfect. It was a conservative cut but the length made it sexy. It's a special dress that stood out just enough! Highly recommend it.

This dress was really pretty in person - it's very metallic, but not in an overly flashy way. It's also silk-lined and very comfy. I wore a size larger than I usually do, and it definitely fit loosely, but I'm glad that I did, because it was really short. I'm tall, so that could have something to do with it, but if you're over 5'7'' or 5'8'', I wouldn't risk it unless you're willing to keep your arms at your sides at all times. If I raised my arms even a few inches, the dress lifted, and if I raised them above my shoulders, it got very...inappropriate. I ended up wearing bike shorts/tap pants under so that I didn't have an incident, but anyone considering this dress should definitely think about the length first. It can also be a problem with sitting down/bending over...it's just not possible. That being said, I did really like this dress and got a ton of compliments! It's absolutely gorgeous in person - I just wish it was a bit longer!

I loved the look of this dress and the fact that it was a shift made it both comfortable and roomy for dancing! The fit did run a little large however, but I like a larger fitting dress. I could have worn the 6 but felt that it would be more constricting than the 8. The green is a great look, however the accent is a little deeper tone than what is noted in the image. It paired really well with the Baroque Bejeweled Necklace by Oscar de le Renta!

This is a beautiful dress, very distinctive. However, it is made of a stiff, thick brocade fabric that is warm and not comfortable. I wore it to a formal dinner party, and it was perfect, but I don't recommend it for dancing or any occasion where it may be warm.

One-of-a-kind dress that will stand out amongst the crowd. The material is stiff, and the fit is strictly shift, so don't expect a waist-slimming look. However, the short length allows you to show off your gams with some gusto. *Months after wearing this rental, I saw Giuliana Rancic donned in this number on television!* Extra style points!

The dress has a lovely color and special design, which resembles traditional Chinese dress. However, like Chinese dress from the imperial time, it does not have waistline, dangling like a huge box over me. I had to wear a belt. I am 5'3'' and normally wear 00. I ordered a size 2 because that's the smallest available. I don't regret renting it, but think I should have looked for a beautiful belt to go with it too.

I don't consider myself that tall, I'm almost 5'5" - and this dress was borderline too short. If I raised my arms... my entire butt would be on display. I have a big chest, so I didn't really think it was "boxy" - it's a shift dress, it's not supposed to be form fitting. I had no problems with the arms being tight as others had reviewed. Also didn't think the material was overly stiff, it's just a thicker fabric. It was a cool dress, not something I'd own but fun for a night. Would recommend for shorter ladies.

This runs large, I had ordered it as a back up. It's pretty but kinda looks like thick curtains. I would seriously order this 2 sizes smaller than your usual.

The fabric is beautiful, but this dress is very very short. I'm generally a size 8-10 and based on the other reviews went with the 8. It fit overall except for the length. I went with my other dress choice.

Uncomfortable, material and Fit. No stretch and arm holes are way too tight.

Beautiful quality, but it was small through the shoulders and the material is very very heavy, so unfortunately wasn't appropriate for a summer event as I'd hoped.

I did not end up wearing this dress but it does run very large. I would have worn the 8. The fabric was a quilt like consistency and would have been too hot for my event. Because it was a thicker fabric it was also not very form fitting. It was very large at the top and fitted at the hips (which never happens to me).

This dress could be kick ass, but you really need to order it 1-2 sizes smaller than normal. Otherwise, I loved it.

I had read all of the reviews about fit issues but I am pregnant and welcomed the extra fabric in the mid section. The fabric IS indeed quite heavy and restrictive but beautiful. I was stopped multiple times by admirers. I didn't mind the boxiness of the dress because the length is quite short and still allows you to exude some sex appeal. My main caution with this dress is how tight the fit is in the arms. It's deceiving because the mid-section encourages you to go down a size to promote a better fit but the arms make that impossible to do. I was pushing it in my normal size 2 (and no my arms are not yet bigger because of the pregnancy). I ended up changing into my back-up dress before dinner because I was so uncomfortable....but then again, that is probably just the hormones. There was a time when I would have just rolled with it!
