I wore this to work with black ballet flats and a black cardigan, then changed up my shoes and threw on some bright pink lipstick to go to a friend's high-end consignment store opening. I love this dress, although the fabric is thicker than I expected. The pockets also stick out a little bit, but that just may be me, it probably wouldn't on someone with a straighter figure. I still love it.

The dress fit well, looked good. I think I went braless, maybe I wore a strapless. It was a fun change on the little black dress.

Loved this dress. It was an outdoor fundraiser and it tied in with wearing hot pink or something with pink. Thicker fabric, comfortable, not too long. I couldn't wear a normal bra, so wore nipple petals and with it being a thicker fabric, it was fine. Would rent again!

I wore this dress for a wedding and loved everything about it. I ordered both a S and a M and decided to wear the medium because I knew I was going to be either sitting at a reception or on the dance floor. The M provided a little more room to groove and didn't make me as nervous about the length. This is super flattering for someone who wants to show off their arms more than their middle. A super great choice!

Loved this dress! Wore it to a rehearsal dinner. The fabric was sturdy and thick which was great for a winter event. Good for showing off your legs and arms while hiding midsection. Sizing felt true to size. I usually wear a 4/6 or between a small/medium. I ended up going with the small on this dress. The medium was too large in the bust. I agree with other reviews- the bust and arm holes are roomy and it's snug around thighs. I don't like things form fitting on my stomach so the fit was great for me.

This dress was beautiful, comfortable, and easy to wear. I received many compliments throughout the evening. I wore it to dinner and then out to a museum event. Paired with pink heels and diamond earrings. Everything about it was perfection! Hides tummy problems, shows off legs. A little short while sitting, but not a big problem.

I'm 6'0 and the medium was short, but that was what I was looking for. I rented this for my senior dance and it was great! I'm a 36DD and was able to wear a normal bra which was perfect! The material is heavy so the dress never flew up or exposed too much. I had a great time and received lots of compliments!

I loved the pattern of this dress! The fabric is pretty stiff, and I wasn't expecting it to be quite so structured, but I was still pretty happy with it.

Me:5'3, Apple/busty/short waisted. 34dd. Generally an 8 in Milly or theory. Very cute, well made dress, beautiful pattern and fabric (good wool, feels high end). Good length for my height. Could be on the short side for someone taller. Rides up when sitting. This is a bit sack like. I could probably have gone down to a small so I'd say this runs big. The fabric is quite stiff so may work with a belt but probably would be too short then for work.

Wore for a work event on a very hot evening. The color and fabric hid sweat (bonus) and the pockets were great. However, the neck was so incredibly tight and irritating that I have a red line on my neck a day later!

I changed my order for a wedding I had the first weekend of fall to this dress - I was a little worried with it not having any reviews yet...but I figured with getting a S & M one would fit! I wasn't so lucky - the small fit in the top but was way way too tight on my backside. I wear a small in tops and a 6/28 in bottoms (sometimes 8 depending on the fit) and this is really because of my glutes more than anything [I say all this to give you a way to see if it would be a good fit for you:) ] The medium was perfect around my waste but WAY too big in the chest (I would need DDs to fit into this top). I ended up wearing the medium and pinning it on the sides to make it work. It turned out to be a great dress and got lots of compliments on it - it just took a little more work to make it fit. I wore this to a networking event in Silicon Valley. It's such a gorgeous dress with pockets! It definitely boosted my confidence and got me through that networking event.

I tried the dress on and it fit true to size. Not too short. The material and colors are beautiful. After looking at the invitation last minute, I realized the party called for "casual attire." This dress is too dressy to try and dress-down, and I ended up not wearing it. However, I think it would have been very comfortable, and I will rent it again for a more formal affair.

Pros: thick material and could be dressed up or down. cons: didnt fit my pear shape. I ordered a small and couldnt get it over my thighs, but a medium would have looked like a bag on my chest and shoulders. This style is always a gamble for me, and this time it didnt work.

I rented this as a backup for a wedding. Ended up wearing my first choice. Very pretty and great shape to the dress. Loved the pockets. Slightly snug up top (I'm larger busted) and slightly itchy material.

The colors on this are amazing. The material is thick and was a great rental for the winter. The top was really tight and the bottom very loose. I ended up wearing this with black tights and booties. I added a blazer which hid the fact that I did not zip the top up completely. Also wore with a belt to since up the waist.

It seemed a little big and the armholes cut down lower than I would have thought. Not my favorite RTR dress but I did like it and got a lot of compliments. It is a thicker material though, so probably avoid this if going to an outdoor wedding/event in the Summer months.

I love the pattern on this dress, however the bust is too large. It's supposed to be a shift dress but it has weird creases in the chest if you don't fill it out.

I am between a 6 and 8, so I rented the M. I have a smaller chest, and the dress was just too big in that area. The fabric was thicker than I expected, and the feel is more Fall/winter.

As others have noted, this is not for those with a petite build, especially on top. I'm a size 2, 5'6". Love the pattern and fabric, but the small I rented fit like a potato sack. Friends agreed, and it stayed in the closet. Would be cute on a different body type, just not for me.

Definitely not made for petite build. Combination of a boxy cut and thicker fabric made it ill fitting - but I did love the print!
