This is the 2nd time I've rented this dress and I'm tempted to buy it. It's a little big on me, but I can never get the 16. It is a compliment catcher. The fabric is a beautiful woven cream color background. The dress is fully lined with large pockets. It's in the running for a dressier event this weekend where I'd change up the accessories.

This dress fit like a glove. I loved the buttons at the top. The material is thick and a very good quality. It was perfect for the beginning of May but might be too hot on some if it's really hot out. Gorgeous dress. I wore it to a birthday party dinner and also to a wine festival in Saint Augustine, FL and it was perfect!

Loved this dress! Was perfect for a fancy steakhouse dinner outing with my husband's company. Very true to size fit and structured well - didn't need a bra! Other reviews mentioned the material is heavy, which is true. However it was fine for AC dining and I would've been comfortable outside at an event in it. Multiple people said it gave off "Betty Draper vibes" from Mad Men so that was a huge compliment in my opinion :)

RTR sent me this dress as a replacement for my rental that was unable to ship. I was very worried about selecting a replacement dress a week before the event, but this dress was great! I received many compliments. Was very comfortable to wear for 6ish hours at a wedding where I danced A LOT.

This dress is absolutely gorgeous. It's a little heavy like a tapestry. My husband asked me if it was itchy the answer is no, it has a very good lining. I loved it so much I couldn't wait to take a picture hence no makeup or even shoes in the photo. It fit like a glove. One of those dresses that offers enough support that I didn't even wear a bra with it. Best part, it has pockets. I felt like an island princess in this dress, very flattering for those of us with curves.

My friends wedding has a palm theme so this felt like a nice nod. Fabric is thick but that was nice as it felt like it tucked things in. I did wear a cardigan as I needed to wear a bra with straps and honestly I don't think I would have liked wearing it as much without a little coverage. The skirt naturally puffs out a touch and the fabric does have sort of a blue fleck to it so it's not just black and cream like it might appear.

This material is very thick. It runs big in most of the areas of the dress.

Really liked this dress. Worked with a little black sweater. Would not have taken the sweater off. Plus: pockets! Could wear with or without a bra.

The dress has deep pockets and a flirty vacation vibe. Although we were quarantined, we still made a nice dinner and got dressed up! I'd definitely rent for when we actually go on the trip!

My sister wore this dress for Dapper Day at Disneyland. She loved the pockets. The dress was perfect with two crinolines underneath. But the straps were too long and even though they could be unbuttoned, there was no way to shorten them. I had to remind her all day not to slouch so her straps would stay up!! She did love that she could wear the dress without needing spanx.

Great multi use dress! Wore to a bbq and another night at husband's work party! Received many compliments- only complaint is that the zipper was really hard to zip over the seam in the back!

I received so many compliments on this dress. It fit me perfectly and the length was great for a short person. It's a heavy material. Like a thick woven material, but it is beautiful. I wore this two different days on my vacation and was super comfortable in it.

Loved the dress and for the few hours I was wearing it, I had to say "renttherunway" so many times it became an instinct (but hey, I'm pretty used to it by now ;)) I loved that the dress has a full skirt, it's flattering, and has a great fabric - heavy but not hot. Will probably rent again!

Love the palm print and pockets! The fabric is textured and thick/heavy, which was a bit warm on a hot day in Mexico, but still fun to wear!

I love this dress by Hutch. Fits true to size with lots of room in the waist. No need to wear a bra it holds everything perfectly. Might need to size up if you have larger chest, recommending wearing with heels or sandals.

This gorgeous dress has a very fitted bodice but a wonderful flared skirt. The beautifully printed material is like a woven hopsack--on the heavy side but I never felt warm. I gave the dress a 4 instead of a 5 because the shoulder straps were a couple of inches too long for me and not adjustable. I had to pin them in the back to make the dress work. A larger chested lady probably wouldn't have any problem with the straps, but adjustability would have been great. I highly recommend this dress!

I really liked this dress and wore it twice, but I would note that the chest area can be tight. After wearing the dress for a few hours, I felt squished. I did wear a strapless bra with this dress (very lightly padded), but I think it would have been lost comfortable without one. The straps also slide down pretty easily. Pockets are a great addition to the dress and the A-line shape is flattering.

The pattern of the dress is beautiful up close and the subtle bits of green are just so delightful. But wow, this dress I heavy! So much material that doesn't hurt your shoulders but you do feel it. Otherwise the fit was great for me loved the pockets and it was so fun to spin in.

I wore this dress a LOT. it is soooo cute & you don't have to wear a bra! I got so many compliments at a family dinner I wore it to in Minneapolis and again on my beach vacation out for dinner with girlfriends. It's so cute and the pockets make it super functional. Problem is the slip for this dress is really poorly made and pops out at the bottom. I had to tuck the dress a specific way so you couldn't see the stark white slip hanging at the bottom and it still showed 50% of the time. It was pretty crappy. Additionally, the zipper was a situation. Honestly I was afraid it was going to break and I was going to be stuck with a ripped dress. One time it took so long to get it unzipped as I was trying to get ready for bed that I was like "...am I going to have to sleep in this?" There was a time I didn't have anyone to zip it up for me and I knew I physically couldn't wear it so I chose to wear something else. Bummer. So the dress is beautiful. But it's also really, really poorly made. It feels expensive but there are SO many things wrong with it. I'm frustrated that RTR didn't notice the slip issue or the zipper issue before sending it to me - so be careful if you decide to order it yourself.

I liked the pattern and quality of the thick fabric. And it was a fine dress to mix things up near the end of summer. Pockets were awesome!

This dress was a very thick material. Felt almost like a canvas bag. It also ran very large on me; it just swallowed me whole. There was a lot of gaping under my arms, so it may be good for larger chested girls. The dress came just below my knees, which is long considering I'm 5'11". I thought the dress was black and cream when I rented it, but there was actually some dark green in there as well. This zips in the back so you do not have to undo the buttons in the front. I just didn't love it on me, but it might work for other bodies!

It was a little big on me but i don't want it to smoosh my chest either so I still wore it anyway because I just loved the way it looks on. And it's made so well.

Substantial (heavy) material. Very comfortable. Great fit, true to size. Love the pockets in the flared skirt. Did have slight issue with the lining, that it was longer than the dress in one area, so I had to pin it up on the inside. Easy enough to fix. Enjoyed wearing it.

It's a heavier weighted dress which was great for a flattering fit and flair look! The length is just under the knee and I loved it so much.

Pattern is cuter in person--has blue in the palm fronds. The material is very thick, which is nice for maintaining the A-line look, but warm. True to size.

I love this dress. It's a heavy material that drapes nicely and doesn't wrinkle. Busy pattern keeps it interesting and pockets make it good for every day. Have rented and worn it several times to a Havana Nights Fundraiser, to Animal Kingdom Disney World, for backyard barbecues, to work, and just for every day. I cannot say enough good things about this dress. Because of the thick material you can wear without a bra and it feels supportive and provides proper coverage.

Straps were way too long for me. I'm small busted so this is a common problem round here.

I"m a true 18 and this was at least 1 inch too large in every direction - even my 38DDs didn't fill out the top. However, even if it had fit I couldn't have worn it because it would have been Just. Too. Hot. It is beautiful fabric that is equally beautifully cut and constructed, but the fabric was unbelievably thick. Like, as thick as a winter jacket. Simply not possible for our swealtering Southern summers.
