Lovely dress, comfortable, no stretch in waist.

This dress was perfect for an early fall wedding, simple yet elegant. I love how it hid my not so tight midsection, and gives all the room to breathe and eat! And the pockets are definitely a plus! I received many compliments.

I felt like I was dressed for a galaxy far, far away in this spacey dress! The metallic navy skirt portion made me think of swirling nebulas, and the unusual black top with cutouts on the sleeves gave it just the right amount of uniqueness. I added a feather fascinator to my hair just to be a little bit extra. I will say that I am VERY glad I listened to everyone's advice and sized down significantly. 2 whole sizes to be exact! This dress is not for smaller busted ladies. Oh, and lastly, this dress has pockets!

I’m 5’4 and weight about 215 pounds. I ordered a size 16 and it was just right, maybe a little tight when I sat. I could have worn the 18 but I wasn’t chesty enough to fill it in. I got lots of compliments. I wore it to a retirement party for some coworkers.

The top of the dress was loose and I needed to pin the straps to my bra so they would stay up. The dress was very easy to wear and I got a lot of compliments on it! I would have liked one size smaller but it was not available. Size down !

Love the dress but the sleeves kept falling down because they’re too big and I have a big chest. Definitely need to size down

Easy to wear! Formal but sexy. I have a larger chest but still didn’t fill it out. A bit of fashion tape probably would have helped.

This was my 6th attempt to find something for a wedding. This one fit well, although tan slightly big up top. Super easy to wear-no spanx required

This dress runs true to size/a little large. I’m 5’8” and 155 lb. I wore the 6 because the top of the 8 was very loose. The waist ended up hitting a little high and the skirt was extremely full, which made the dress almost look a little maternity-ish. The colors are beautiful and it was very comfortable. You will need fashion tape to keep the straps in place. It’s fairly low cut if that is an issue to you.

I loved this vintage-feel dress! As others mentioned, the plus version seems much shorter than the straight size, but I thought the shorter length ended up more flattering on me! Also like other reviewers, I did find the bodice to be slightly large. I have a large bust so this doesn't happen often! That said, I was still perfectly comfortable in it and received many compliments! It was perfect for the semi-formal wedding I attended.

See my comments in the size 12. The dress probably photographs well and was comfortable but I felt very large in and it’s not flattering for an hourglass shape.

I'm tall, not sure how it would fit on someone shorter. The dress is VERY comfortable with pockets. I'd recommend it for anyone tall and curvy!

My fiancé said I look like a princess! But you should 100% size down, I usually wear a 2 and this time I wore a 0 and the top was still too large! It slipped off my shoulders often and could've been taken in like two inches off the bodice. It has pockets though! Great dress.

This was my ultra-tempting back-up style. The top is super-soft and comfy, the skirt is full of shimmering blues and purples, and it has pockets! While I ultimately went with my original style, it took me a moment to make that decision because this is a beautiful dress. I tried on the size 2 (I'm 5'7", 130lbs, small bust, bigger hips, long torso, generally a 4) and the fit was sublime.

I loved this dress. So so comfy where you don't need to wear spanx (!!!) and pockets are huge where you can fit so much. Sometimes the shoulders didn't stay up, but them falling off the shoulder wasn't so bad, it was in style! Highly recommend- I wore this on a red carpet to work and it's a perfect combo of workable and stylish.

The top of the dress is a little loose and large, but the bottom fit perfectly. I used some double-sided tape and it stayed perfectly throughout the entire evening. The dress was exceptionally comfortable, and I especially loved the pockets which held my phone all night. Cannot recommend this dress enough!

Very flattering neckline and the girls fit in the top even with sizing down. It's hard to find a dress that can accomodate big boobs, but this dress does it! The pouf in the skirt hid my big post-partum tummy well and the sleeves even cover that weird boob/arm pinch that stands out in tank top dresses. Love it! So flattering! Definitely size down! I wear a 10 and usually have to size up to a 12 to get my boobs into the dress, but the 8 fit with room. Could maybe even go down 2 sizes.

Loose in my waist and shoulders but I’m a 38 DDD so I needed the 14.

This was one of the two dresses I got for a wedding and, in the end, decided upon the other dress. This dress is gorgeous and the material lining the inside was so soft. And the pockets! The only thing I had an issue with (hence my final decision) was the angle of the straps. They’re not quite on top of your shoulder and not quite on the side of your shoulder... nor are they flexible in that regard... they’re really meant to be on the corner of your shoulder. I knew it’d just make me feel like my bra strap was falling all night (and interfere with my killer dance moves lol). Pictured here in leggings because it was cold in my house.

This was a lovely dress for a "soirée" event. Super comfortable, fit well, and flattering. Even being short and this falling longer than intended, it looked intentional. Lots of compliments and my husband said I had the best dress at the party. Would definitely rent again for a formal affair.

This dress was so flattering, comfy, and beautiful! Oh and did I mention IT HAS POCKETS! I would recommend sizing down for the alternative size. I was so happy with this dress and I wish I could keep it and wear it all the time!

Loved this dress!! Got lots of compliment and felt very pretty. I ordered both a 16W and 14W and went with the 14W, fit much better but the sleeves were pretty loose. Noticed myself pulling them up and checking them often through the night but no big deal. Loved the skirt! It cinches at the smallest part of the waist and the puffs out so it was super flattering and made me feel so comfortable. Always an added bonus when a dress has POCKETS!

This dress hits you in all the right spots and hides the rest. Runs a bit large so you may want to size down.

So I had ordered 16w & 18w in this dress. The 16w was a little snug. The 18w fit just right in the waist but was too big in the bust and straps area. I had to tape it down & make it off the shoulder.

I loved this dress but didn't end up wearing it to my event. I usually wear a size 6, but ordered a size down based on reviews. The size 4 was still a bit too loose up top - not unwearable, but loose enough to lack a flattering shape and made me feel a bit frumpy. I will consider ordering this in a 2 for another event as it is both beautiful and comfortable. Side note, the length hit just right on me, I'm 6'1". The large skirt and long hem might overwhelm someone with a more petite frame.

This was cute but I ended up wearing something else. Skirt was voluminous as others have said but has pockets! I sized down as I don't have a big chest and the 10 fit perfectly. (Usually a 12). If you are busty may want to stay with your regular size. On me it hit above my natural waist.

The shoulders were a bit loose and there are no snaps for a bra strap but I had a silk wrap that I used when I was sitting down. The skirt is quite full with many pleats and not entirely flattering for a short buxom gal but the fabric is very pretty and overall worked for me.

It was cute but it was a tad big on the top. I'm a 34DD so I normally have this problem lol.

The skirt fabric is beautiful! I wore the 16W as the 14W wouldn't zip all the way due to my chest size. Pros: beautiful fabric, pockets, comfortable. Some things to be aware of (can't call them cons because they really aren't): the top is a little on the short side so depending on your shape/length of torso it can sit odd (on me it made my chest look long), the skirt is very poofy and bell-shaped (not a bad thing but if you don't like fullness this isn't for you). I did use fashion tape to keep the straps in place. Overall was comfortable dress.

I'm usually a 16, but can occasionally wear a 14W. I didn't even try on the 16W, as the 14W was slightly loose itself. I may have even been able to wear a size smaller. The dress was beautiful, the colors were fun with the little bit of sparkle in the skirt. The skirt did have a lot of fabric, so while it hid everything it did feel a little poofy. I got a lot of compliments though and it was comfortable all night!

This style by Hutch runs true to size so I would recommend getting your usual size as your primary and going one size up for the backup size. This dress is fitted at the natural waist and the fuller skirt on this piece allows room for fuller hips. It is comfortable for any cup size and it is recommended that you wear this style with a strapless bra. In regards to length, this dress hits me at mid calf. I would pair this dress with a pair of black heels (as pictured) and some nice pearl jewelry pieces.

This dress is gorgeous! If you are not busty - Be sure to size down at least one size, and even two sizes for your back up. I'm typically a size 4, but even the size 2 was huge on me. The top of the dress has a bit of stretch and the skirt has pockets! If you can get the sizing right, this is a stunner. I rented with the Sondra Roberts Gunmetal Beaded Minaudiere and it was a great pairing.

This dress was definitely disappointing. I had picked this as my main dress, and after reading comments chose my normal size and the size down. While I wanted to love it, it just wasn't possible. My normal size was way too big in the bust and arm straps. I ended up wearing my back up choice because this just didn't play out. It definitely was not tea length on either dress (phone was angled in photo - barely hit the middle of my knees). Wouldn't surprise me if they had been hemmed.

This dress was cute but it was too big and made me look super frumpy. Also, the bottom is so puffy that it was not flattering from the side. It made me look way bigger than I was. I'd say for a curvy girl it's a no!

Love the dress, just felt a bit exposed with how much cleavage was shown. I have a large chest so perhaps someone with smaller cup sizes won't feel as exposed.

The top has a lot of give to it so it will fit a variety of body shapes. Pay attention to the waist measurement—that’s the least stretchable part. I felt very sassy in this dress. I haven’t worn a cocktail dress in ages and this was very kind to me. It was super comfortable and I got tons of compliments. I wore it with a pair of kitten-heel sandals with an ankle strap. Very cute!

I wore this dress as a guest to a wedding recently. The style was perfect for the occasion and even the bride complimented on it. This nice fabric kept me comfortable even on a warm October day. I could see it being just fine for colder weather as well. As for fit, I should have sized down. It was too big overall, especially in the chest and waist area but didn't show as much on the skirt part of the dress. I used fabric tape to keep the straps and neckline more secure. Overall, I would definitely rent again, just a small size.
