I tried the 6&8. These are very snug, could barely zip up the 8. But once in it, it was comfortable and super flattering. I ended up choosing another dress, but would definitely order this for another formal affair

Rented this for a chateau wedding and it was perfect - I got so many compliments! It was slightly big because I had to size up due to having a wider rib cage. But the top is very structured, so it doesn't slip down easily.

Literally, what waist?! This dress was comfy. The pockets are well placed. I hadn't considered a drop waist before, and this dress was STUNNING. It's also kind of lowkey.

I absolutely love this dress… fit, fabric, length all fabulous. I rented it along with other NYE party dresses chose this one even though it had a small hole in the side seam of the bodice that had to sew up by hand. My goodness did it exceed my expectations! I felt amazing and was comfortable dancing in it all night. My partner said he loved it. I really wanted to buy it and rented a second time this month. Will keep my eye out for sale so I can snatch it up!

It was a cold and windy night. There was a chill at the aquarium during the event. It was a large open room with a shark huge tank in it. Yet this dress' skirt kept me comfortable. It was a little poofy, but not too poofy to sit comfortably. Nor did it take up a lot of room that it was in the way at all. It was very manageable. I got a lot of compliments on the dress. It was comfortable. I was not self conscious in any way. It also had deep pockets! I didn't need a purse. The pockets fit my cell phone and credit card and lipstick.

This dress is so flattering and pretty. I'm short, and it was not too long. The drop waist wasn't too dramatic and was pretty, and the ruching is very flattering. The slit is high, but I didn't find it indecent. I wore it for a black tie wedding, and got a lot of compliments.

Loved the concept of this dress, but given how big the skirt is, you’ve really got to make sure the top snatches you to balance it out— and on my it just didn’t do it was frumpy. I think it could’ve worked in a size or even 2 down.

Top fits very tight especially for us with larger girls:). I sized up for that reason. Dress overall very comfortable and has pockets!!!

Sizing was tricky, the six fit better but wouldn’t zipper around my chest so I went with the 8. The built in bodice held really well though (even through dancing) and looked beautiful regardless!

I attended a gothic themed prom at my community college and had a great time! The dress was so pretty and I got compliments all night. My only qualm was that the larger size I ordered was almost too snug to fit. I wish the website included measurements in the size charts. But now I know to size up for my backup size instead of down. Also, as a 6'1 girlie, I was floored to see that this dress dude fall at my ankles. This is a rarity for me. I felt so pretty in the dress, so I have no regrets!! I will definitely be using rent the runway again!

I was very excited to wear this for a black-tie wedding and I felt so beautiful in it. Everyone loved it and I got compliments non-stop. I did order a size too small since nothing else was available, however I managed to squeeze into it. It fit perfectly everywhere else except my waist, which was a bit too snug. I did notice that the boning was digging into me at the end of the night, however, I had been wearing it for over 10 hours so I think that's normal. Nonetheless, if I could wear every day all day, I wouldn't be against it. Please get it.

This is such a classic and timeless piece. I didn't wear it for black tie optional spring wedding but would rent again for another event! Fit was perfect and I loved the hidden pockets! Of note one of the wires was poking through the inside of the dress making it rather uncomfortable when I tried it on but I'm sure RTR will fix it as I flagged it for them when I returned it.

This dress was so incredibly stunning! I waited for it to come in stock. I would size up one size because there is no stretch in the top, but if you need a classic piece to make a statement i highly recommend
