Dress was a wonderful length, and very flattering. Wore to a wedding as the officiant. Dress had pockets which held a phone without bing bulky. Also very fun to dance and spin in.

I wore this for an outdoor Fall Wedding. I am 5'6 & 145 lbs, I wore a size 8R. The dress was a little loose which allowed me to breathe, dance, walk, sit and chat all night! Plus it had pockets and everyone gave me compliments. I especially loved how the back of the dress flowed and billowed while I walked around mingling. Would rent again!

Great dress. Full coverage, and I'm busty. I wish the bottom part was a little lighter. The dress might as well be all black, but nonetheless I'm happy and would rent it again. It also traveled well because I had to shove it in my suitcase to travel to event.

This is a great dress when I don't want to go too springy. Fits absolutely beautiful and does run a little large. I ordered the 14 in the 16 and probably could've gone with the 12. The green brocade skirt was awesome and I love that it wasn't floorlength all the way around. Hit the floor in the back but a little above my ankle in the front. The jersey top makes it really comfortable to wear

Comfy dress and full length on my shorter frame. Note that the straps were a little loose around the arms but still offered full coverage over a regular bra.

This dress turned a lot of heads! In a good way! Beatiful piece, made out of quality fabric (but not heavy!). I wished I had ordered a size 2 - the 4R was a little roomy. i paired it with ear pins and a choker by slate & willow.

Fit was perfect & comfy! Pockets were a plus!

I love this dress, it reminds me of an updated version of some of my favorite dresses from White Christmas. The only issue was that the zipper was a little tough to zip where the fabrics meet, but it was otherwise perfect. I tried it out with both black booties and open toed stilettos, but I thought the booties made it look a bit clunky. At 5'10", I often struggle to find dresses that are long enough, so the uneven hemline on this dress was perfect for me. Highly recommended!

So comfortable. You can eat whatever you want and not worry about bloating due to the waistline being so high and the fabric so thick. So many compliments. LOVED this dress.

I am 5’7, 185 lbs currently, pear shaped. I carry most of my weight in the hips/butt. Also a tummy pooch from having a baby recently. The dress has kind of a ball gown feel, as the bottom poofs out a bit. It took me some time to get used to it, but ultimately I liked it. It was comfy and had pockets which was amazing. I could eat & dance happily. It was appropriate for my work cocktail event on a chilly January evening in Florida. I do concur with others about the zipper being SUPER hard to zip up, not as difficult backing it down.

I'm 6 months pregnant, and thought this dress might work, and it did - mostly. I wore a 12 - my pre-pregnancy size. The skirt is big enough to accommodate my baby bump, but the torso was quite long. I ended up pinning a strip about the width of the waistband TO the waistband, and it raised the waist to a comfortable point. The waistband/belt was definitely a complication a couple times in getting it zipped up all the way, but other than that, the dress was gorgeous. I got so many compliments, and while I needed to wear a cardigan since it was so cold the night of the event, it was great for dancing, and very comfortable while still looking chic!

This dress was incredibly comfortable, and appropriate for a formal wedding. It was slightly loose around the waist but I preferred that to having it too tight. Also, the length worked perfectly for me with a 2-inch heel, which is tough to do.

Wore size 0, and fit perfectly! Fabric has some give which makes it comfortable all night.

Needed a dress for a formal fall wedding and this dress fit the bill. Usually wear a size 6 but am 9 months postpartum so ordered both 6 and 8 but wore the 6. The dress is comfortable! I didn't have as hard of a time with the zipper as some other reviews. I am tall and the back was a good length on me. I would imagine it would be tough for someone on the shorter side.

Fit perfectly, and was very comfortable! Only drawback was the zipper. It needs to be waxed or something. You will need help zipping. Tons of compliments!

Be sure to attach the top hook underneath armpit then pull down lightly on the skirt (on zipper side) before zipping it up. Otherwise the zipper will stick halfway up.

Loved that it had pockets!! Loved the material. It was super comfortable. And was very slimming.

I rented this for my sister's wedding and it was perfect. I figured I would need the 10 at the time since most dresses are a bit clingy around my stomach. This one isn't! It's forgiving and the 8 actually fit a bit better. It is a secure dress so you don't have to worry about taping and special bras and shapewear. You can just wear it, eat dinner, and then dance your face off without worrying about your clothes. In summary, it's everything you want in a dress for a major event.

I'm 12 weeks pregnant and this was the perfect dress for a wedding where I could still wear a dress that was shapely but allow room for my tummy. I don't think the waistband would work for me at this size in a few weeks but it was perfecttt at this stage! The waistband is very flattering & the cut of the dress conservative for a winter/cold weather wedding. It's a high low dress and the back of it is beautiful!!! Touched the ground a LITTLE with me in flats and height 5'7" just FYI. Highly rec!

This was the perfect dress for a winter wedding. I was comfortable all day long, and it was so lightweight and easy to dance in. The dress even has pockets!

Super comfy, great pockets, flattering fit, nice fabric. I had another Hutch dress in 14R that wouldn't zip and got this as a replacement. 14WR was much bigger - the 14R in the other style was like 1cm too small, and this 14WR was roomy in the top. I would've liked a more form fitting top, but it still looked great.

I ordered several dresses and this style was not my first choice for my body type, but after the other style and back up didn’t fit, I ended up wearing this one, love the colors and it was comfortable to wear. A little gaping under arm pit, but over all it was fine for our gala event we attended. Size 12, typically a 10 in dresses and jeans.

I wore this for a wedding in March in NOLA and it was perfect for the occasion. I was on my feet for a while before the ceremony welcoming guests and we continued all night after the Second Line through the French Quarter. The dress was so comfortable and beautiful. The bodice has a lot of stretch in it with the skirt a bit heavy it does weigh it down slightly pulling down the fabric under the arms but that wasn’t an issue for me. I am 5’3” and was able to wear 3 inch heels without any drag for the skirt. The pockets were a blessing-deep and able to hold my phone and lipstick in one and powder in the other. (Necklace was borrowed from a friend).

Wore this dress for a vocal performance. It was sturdy and comfortable -- all in all exactly what I needed. The bodice portion is very stretchy, and I could have easily gone a size down even though I'm rather large chested. I do wish the bottom had a bit more volume to it, more tole underneath maybe?

Winter wedding. Easy to wear. Runs a bit large. Pockets are deep and fit a phone and lipstick. Lots of compliments.

I normally wear a size 4 but have kind small chest(34B) so after reading the reviews I rented a size 2 and the chest was still too large. Overall the proportions just felt off, I really needed a size down in the chest and a size up in the waist. I looked at getting a replacement dress but couldn't find something else I liked on short notice so I just ate really healthy to lose some bloating around my waist and wore a padded bra to make it work. The back of this dress was just beautiful though and with some adjustments it worked well enough for a nice evening!

The top is a stretchy fabric which was a little big, the material at the lower rib cage (for me since I am short) was the start of the fitted skirt.

I wore this dress to my husband’s work holiday party. Super comfortable and fits true to size. Love the pockets and flow of the dress! A definite yes!

This was my backup dress for my cousins wedding. Due to the weather, I decided to wear this dress. The fit is so comfortable and being 5' 1/2" the back, with 3" heels, was just barely off the floor. The hidden zipper is a PAIN to zip up. I find most hidden zippers are that way. It was def a two person job to zip up. Having never ordered from RTR, I had no clue what size to order. I believe I 'may' have been able to fit a 4 but the zipper issue may have been greater. MANY compliments! #Wedding

It had been awhile since I tried on formal wear I was definitely off on my size. I normally wear a 6 jean but went with a 2 dress. Thank god I read the reviews because I learned that what I was planning to order should not have worked. I was working the event, so I opted for flats and the back of the dress was just off the ground. Pockets were very helpful and I couldn’t bring my purse while running around. I’m a 32D, 28 waist, 37 hip, 5’10”. The 2 fit perfectly. Thanks RTR.

Super comfy, absolutely love the pockets! Wore it to a June, black tie optional, wedding. It was very flattering and helped cover up my 2 month post baby body. Got so many compliments as well!

I loved this dress! I wore it to a formal work affair so I wanted something cute but appropriate. I'm 5'2" and had to walk up and down stairs all night so I knew I couldn't wear tall heels. A normal length dress would've been too long, but the high low on this was just about perfect with 2 inch block heels. It did drag in the back a little, but I could've worn taller shoes if I wasn't going to be on a stage that night. The fabric felt beautiful, although the black top half was a little large. The zipper was difficult to get up and down but besides that the dress was wonderful!

I loved this dress! I do think it was a tad looser/longer than expected, but not so much that it didnt fit.
