This dress was perfect for my engagement photos in Chicago! It was a hot day and this dress definitely kept me cool! Perfect jewel tone color and good length. It does seem to run a tad large though, and I wish I would've chosen the XS as my backup size (and by no means am I ever an XS). Overall, I felt like I truly fit in with the bustle of the city, and it's a timeless look that I'll be proud to look back on in future years.

This was a perfect dress for a September wedding reception. I opted not to wear the tie (just one more thing to have to fiddle with), and I thought it looked just fine without it. I ordered a M and a S. The S was too tight in the chest, so I ended up going with the medium. The material was nice and overall the dress hung loose enough to be comfortable and dance-ready but not so loose that it looked too big or sloppy. The color was a nice shade of blue.

I tried to make this dress work but I was self conscious all night. I could not get the bow to cooperate and it was really large around my rib cage and my bra kept showing in the back. Blah. Loved the color - that's about the only love I had for the dress

If you are hippy, size up.

This dress works perfect for a night out on vacation or special occasion. Definitely plan to rent it again for a wedding because you can totally dress it up or dress it down. I didn't use the bow because I didn't see it in the garment bag until I was getting ready to return it but I actually loved it without the bow. I wore it twice on vacation and absolutely LOVED it!

Rented this dress for my graduation and I LOVED it!! The dress is true to size. I was nervous about this because a lot of other reviewers said the dress ran large but the medium was perfect for me. (Normal size M or 6). The dress was actually very slimming and flattering how it falls. I ended up wearing a sticky bra because the back goes a little low and I didn't want to keep adjusting with a strapless bra. You could probably get away with a strapless bra, the back of the dress may just show the top of the bra at times. The bow comes separate so you will have to tie the bow yourself.

This runs a little big. I ordered a Small since I gained 15 pounds in the last year. But I am so used to wear xs from previous years, that for the backup I ordered the XS. It was a surprise for me when the S fit was too big, so I am super happy that RTR sends a backup. I am not sure why other girls on the feedback say this runs true to size, I would recommend getting your normal size and one size smaller for backup. The fabric is BEAUTIFUL and the fall of the fabric too. The color is bright and clean, got many compliments on the dress that day.

I wore this for my son's 21st birthday party. The medium was tight in the chest, so I wore the large. When I sat the fabric pulled down so the back of my strapless bra was exposed, so next time I rent I'll use a pin. It was hot, but I was nice and cool!

I loved this dress. It was flattering and the color was gorgeous. What I loved most about the dress was that it wasn't fitted and I knew I wasn't going to pop out, or dance and show everyone my lady bits. It was flowy and breathable for a hot summer Texas wedding.

I received this dress as a backup when the dress I originally ordered was not available. I ended up loving it and wore it to the wedding I was attending. I wore it without the bow and would recommend sizing down. I wore a medium and it was definitely roomy.

I wore this dress for my sister's bridal shower. It was pretty and I received a lot of compliments! The dress was comfortable and a good length. The bow come separate from the dress in a little baggy and doesn't need to be worn with the dress. I decided not to use it.

The dress was fun and so comfortable! Ive got a booty and never felt like the dress was being stretched by my hips/butt. Piece of advice - the back scoops pretty low so you either need a backless bra or pasties.

Both the small and XS fit but I felt a little more comfortable in the small! The color was INCREDIBLE! It is a fairly simply dress but the color really popped! I had MULTIPLE compliments about how awesome it looked! Comfortable and classy!

This dress is perfection. Wore it to a wedding and the blue was such a great pop of color. Danced the night away it was so comfortable. I rented a small and it was still loose but I didn't feel like a potato sack. I'm pretty short with C cup books though so if your smaller I could see how there would be more wiggle room. Will definitely Rent again

It was pretty much true to size. I have a large bust so that was just a tad tight but that's normal for me. It was very comfortable but the clasp at the neck was a little tricky at first. I was a little worried when I put it on about the bow but it's very subtle. I'm 5'2 and this dress hit perfectly at a couple of inches above the knee. Nude wedges and hair up if you need a suggestion :)

Got this dress as a back up in case my other dress was too formal for an outdoor summer wedding. Ended up wearing to rehearsal dinner and it was a great choice

Perfect dress for a casual, low-key day on my vacation. The color is bright, the bow detail is very cute, and the dress is very comfortable. It does seem to run large though so make sure to size down. The back of the dress is a tad loose and needed to be pulled up throughout the day.

The fit was perfect, it was loose and hid my stomach. The back was a little too wide, I constantly had to pull it up from draping. The length was perfect and it was overall a very comfortable dress. The shade of blue the dress is was amazing, I got compliments all night.

Worked great for a wedding. I'm rarely a small but the small fit great so definitely size down. Halter is great if you're broad shouldered like me!

This dress was perfect for a dinner dance. Color was great. Loved the neckline. The length was just above my knees which was perfect. I was able to wear a strapless bra which was great. Would definitely rent again!!t

This dress was adorable. The color was very vibrant. I loved the little bow on the neckline. The haler top is put together with latches like a necklace. It fit loose and fell right around my knees. I would recommend a sticky bra or braless because of the open back. Would be great for work with a nice blazer.

Love the vibrant blue color! Hate the closure on the back of the neck..had to twist it around a bit so I could look at the mirror to do it. Definitely size down, it runs large!

I absolutely loved the color of this dress. It's not a silhouette I would normally wear, but I gave it a shot for a colleague's going away party. I wore a cardigan over it, and skipped the bow-tie element (I couldn't figure out how to make it not look like a stray piece of cloth tied around my neck). I'm usually between a 12 and a 14 (12 is tight and 14 is roomy), and the lining on the large was a little snug and shimmied up a bit, but overall, I didn't feel uncomfortable in it.

Loved the color of this dress, although the fit wasn't perfect. The large felt baggy, so I wore the medium even though it was a bit tight in the chest. Otherwise it was comfortable for dancing. I didn't wear the sash.

This dress was great. I normally wear size 6-8 and I wore the small, so it definitely runs small. The only problem I had was that the back was not tight so it fell below my strapless bra at times. It was for semi-formal wedding and I think the length was perfect. I loved the bow detail, I think it makes the dress. The halter snap is NOT easy to do yourself. Also loved the deep blue color. Really great dress.

I loved it and wore it instead of the other dress. I'd rent it again but would plan to buy some stickies. Biggest pros: -It didn't wrinkle AT ALL -Beautiful blue color, almost royal blue -It wasn't at all see-through Biggest Cons: -As others have mentioned, the back drooped significantly. Definitely plan on wearing stickies or going bra-less. I was pulling the dress up and my bra strap down all evening. This is why I rated it 4 stars. -In addition to the back drooping, the hanging strings (you know, the ones in the armpit to hang it up) tended to slip up and out of the dress so I was constantly tucking them back in. -The neck-bow is weird. It's not attached to the dress and looks more like a belt when detached from the dress. I didn't wear it.

I loved this dress! The only reason it didn't get 5 stars was that the medium felt a little too tight and just slightly pulled, while the large was too big in the back and kept falling down below my strapless bra. If you are lucky enough to not have to wear a bra with this, there is no issue at all. I would definitely rent this again! I got so many compliments in it.

When I first put this on I was worried that it would be too clingy. After about five minutes it settled and I realized the color is gorgeous. My caveat is - you need to be tall (at least 5'11" with curves) or shorter and straight for this dress to work. Short and curvy- AVOID! This is not your dress.
