Absolutely loved this dress. Wore it for NYE and got many compliments. It's a very unique dress. There's no way you'll find anyone else wearing anything similar even in a big gathering of hundreds of people. I had so much fun wearing it. I could have gone for the size 4. Size 2 fit me OK with a little bit of force but because it dint have any room, it was bunching around the waist. So, I wore a golden belt which actually looked perfect. I would definitely recommend it.

This dress made me look great! It for sure is made to show off your curves. I used the low U sticky bra from Victorias secret and it worked wonders for this sexy low cut dress! I wore gold shoes and accessories.

The red is a beautiful muted pinor noir color that is very unique so you really stand out. I had a zillion compliments about the dress, the design with the opening -- the mini dress underneath. It all comes together beautifully when you walk. The neck plunged a bit too much for me so I pinned it and that made me feel comfortable all night. The dress fit snugly everywhere else per the design and as shown on the website.

The fit is perfect, true to size. Had to use RTR's dress tape for the chest area to make sure nothing pops out when I go to the dance floor, but wasn't such a big deal.. :-p I used 4 inch heels for this dress, enough that the dress isn't dragging. I would definitely rent this again! This dress is so SEXY AND ELEGANT! Love love love it!

Thank god they sent two sizes because the extra size I got was the one I wore. I am 5'7 and wore 1 inch heels, the Medium regular was a little bit short but I ended up preferring it because it didn't drag on the floor for dancing. It really fit me perfectly and was just sexy enough with the slit and low cut top.

Extremely comfortable, great quality, you can adjust the top part accordingly (I had to use tape because I am a 34D) The draping was flattering!

I ordered this dress assuming that the slit in the front of the dress was as open as it showed on the model picture. I bought a leg chain for this purpose, but unfortunately was not visible unless I purposely popped my leg out. As well, this dress runs small for us taller girls. I usually wear a small-medium in many dresses, and I ended up wearing a large so the dress could at least reach to the bottom of my heels. Overall, everyone loved the dress at my formal and received many compliments. Definitely a winner if you're going for the boho look.

The fit was nice. You definitely need to get double-sided fashion tape and "tape-on" bras in order to make this work. If you don't, your ta-tas will fall out.

I am about 5' 7", usually a size two, so I rented the extra-small and the small. I liked the fit of both; the small felt better around my waist (I had to fight the zipper on the xs a little) but the xs looked better in the end, as it accentuated my figure. The top would have needed body tape regardless, but stayed in place much better with the xs. Both were a little short with my heels so the long probably would have been better but I only had the regular-length option. Once I decided on the xs, I picked out my jewelry and the whole look really came together. I couldn't wait to wear it! I rented this for a military ball in North Carolina and received compliments from the Army men (and their wives and dates) all night long, which I must say felt great! I would recommend this dress and Rent the Runway to anyone- the process was easy, the price was great, the selection was phenomenal, and the dress I ended up choosing was gorgeous and just what I needed. Dress was very comfortable. can tend to be a bit baggy with extra fabric , I wore an XS Reg, so I recommend going a size smaller. I definately could have used a long, but because of the design with open front and short dress underneath, I could get away with the regular. The first dress I ordered was not good at all. This company was so wonderful. I called them, chose another dress and they had it to me the very next day.in time for my event. Would definately rent from them again. Thank you Rent The Runway!!!. You saved my formal!!

I fell in love with this dress instantly when I saw it on RTR. It's a modern twist on Old Hollywood. I ordered a small and medium (both regular length because tall wasn't available) and ended up wearing the medium. It fit perfectly on top, although the bottom was a bit snug (this is typical for me though due to my shape). I'm 5'9 and the skirt underlay was just long enough to be sexy without being too revealing. It was so gorgeous, I really didn't need many accessories - just a necklace! I got compliments all night! My only gripe was the length, as I wish that the "tall" version was available - I could have used a few extra inches with heels on. Otherwise, it really was an absolutely amazing dress. Wish I could keep it!!

I didn't fall in love with this dress but it is a nice dress. I received compliments and it held up well, it just wasn't my favorite. If I had a tighter body, I might have loved it more as it had the potential to be a wow! dress.. just not on my shape/height lol.

Iam only 5"5 so with the heels my dress fit perfect. Even though it drapes far in the front it still compliments my size with a 32 A cup size

This dress is an unexpected look among the sequins that have become standard at formal occasions. I felt special but not overdressed. The skirt under the slit is definitely short, so be prepared to show off your stems! And buy some garment tape and/or Nubra to keep everything in and lifted.

I loved the deep burgundy color of this dress. Also, it really hugged my curves in all the right places and covered any problem areas. My one complaint would be that the material made it feel a little on the cheap side. But it still worked for my event.

I really liked this dress - one of my favorites - it was very flattering on and very comfortable. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because I struggled with the bustline. I used fashion tape - maybe I'm just not adept at sticking it in the right places - but it either looked too pasted on or was too loose. I think if you had the right breasts for it or were really good with the tape it would be fine... I could almost go tape free but any bending over or energetic dancing would have probably caused a wardrobe malfunction.

I had to pin this dress in order to not have a malfunction and even then, I was very uncomfortable in it. This dress is not suitable if you're a curvy girl...the slit came up way too high, when I sat down it felt like I was flashing my crotch and I was popping out the top. I'd recommend this dress for someone who is not curvy. The color of the dress is very beautiful and it arrived in great condition.

Even taped I felt this was inappropriate for the wedding. I read all the reviews, so I felt comfortable with my choice. I am 5'6" and 160lbs. My boyfriend loved it, but I had to do a reading and felt it sent the wrong message. I bought it, so I am stuck with it. I'm sure someday I will wear it, but I am not sure.

pros: great color and design, length is appropriate for average height cons: I ordered this as a backup and had only 1 size option. unfortunatley i did not choose the correct size because the dress runs really small and it doesnt have that much stretch to it. I am considering to reorder the dress in a more suitable size for a friends wedding coming up in april.

this was a backup dress rented for a mardi gras ball (which is why i did not have a backup size). unfortunately, i do not have any decent pics of this dress to show, but the reason i did not wear it is that it runs extremely large at the top of the dress. it's a shame too, because otherwise, the dress was a great fit and a beautiful color. i think this dress would be great for someone with a longer torso, as i could not figure out a way to salvage the sizing issue without being uncomfortable the entire night. but definitely be prepared to tape the center of the dress, as it can be a bit revealing. otherwise, this could have been a beautiful dress!

This dress was sexy and hugged all of the right places but it wasn't appropriate for my event. The slit is fairly aggressive (even for me) and the material was a little too casual for a black tie. I would LOVE to wear something like this on a date with my man but probably not to a party unless it was in Vegas or NYE.

I didn't end up wearing it because there was a stain down the front. Rent The Runway sent me a replacement so fast and really saved the day!

I didn't end up wearing the dress as the bottom flap was very very short! I am 5'9" and I could not pull it off. I recommend ordering the long length as that may make a difference.

The color is beautiful, but I wasn't to crazy with the fit. I felt like the under skirt would have ridden up all night. Wasn't able to wear it. It is a very pretty dress

This dress was very pretty, but just didn't fit me right. The top was stretch out on one side so it didn't stay up properly. It was my backup dress, so I wasn't too worried. I'd suggest this dress for someone a little less busty then myself, since the top is not secure to your chest like it looks in the photo.

The dress is not made for tall women. I normally wear a 4 or 6. The Medium fit beautifully ... except that the bottom of the dress didn't hit my ankles! Far too short. And that was when I was flat footed. It's a hot number but only made for women far under 5ft. 6in (maybe 5ft 5in). Tall ladies - opt for a different gown.

I ordered this dress in two sizes as my first choice. The dress was far too small to wear comfortably so I opted to wear my back up dress.

Received this as a replacement for the dress I actually ordered because my size wasn't available. It looked really frumpy and shapeless. I didn't like the jersey material.
