The name speaks for itself. It was such a beautiful dress and exactly what I was going for, classy with sex appeal. It was mini and tight but not too revealing so it was just enough sexy. Received loads of compliments and totally felt like I was sparkling all night. Its a beautiful emerald green dress and was pretty comfortable (a bit heavier than you would think though). Perfect dress for a great party occasion.

This dress is awesome! It is extremely comfortable and doesn't have the sequins that scratch you, like so many designer sequin dresses. The dress is shorter than it looks on the website, and is definitely more flattering as well. The hunter green color is extremely unique -- got tons of compliments!

Fit: I ordered the dress in a S and M. The S fit and looked good - all except the length of the skirt. It was too short to be appropriate for the event I was attending. That's why I went for the M instead - it gave me a little more length, but even that was a little shorter than I prefer. The M was a little too big in the top and I had to keep pulling it up. CON: If you're wearing this to an event where there will be dancing...good luck! I was not able to lift my right arm at all due to the way the dress was made. Any upward movement you make with your right arm will also pull the skirt higher. Condition: I was a little disappointed because both of my dresses (S &M) had sequins missing in spots. Bummer. But because of the color, the flaws were harder to notice. Color: I love, love, LOVE the color! It is a rich emerald green that looks black in some lights. A lot of people complimented me on the color. Overall: I felt great in the dress despite a few flaws, skirt length issues. I will definitely be using RTR again, as they make the whole process SOOO easy.

The color alone was just beautiful a nice deep dark emerald green. The dress was as a little tight around my bum but stretched through out the day to a more comfortable fit. I got TONS of compliments on this dress from the color to the sequins this dress is a knockout!

This dress is AMAZING. I felt and looked great and was told I had the best dress at the event. Loved it. It was very short, but I knew it would be. You also will not be able to lift your right arm all the way up. The trade off for the fabulousness of the dress was completely worth it.

perfect for a fall/winter dance. the lights hit the sequins and it looks fabulous (very comfy to dance in too). As a dark brunette, the color was stunning and definitely a dress i'd like to order again. You can also make it as long or short as you like with the waist band (that's nice for the taller gals like myself!).

This dress appears black but turns to an emerald green in the light. Inside it looks almost completely black with just a hint of green. Once you go outside in the sunlight, it is almost completely green. Not an issue, as it makes this dress even more stunning, but something you should probably know and be able to plan for (i.e., you probably shouldn't plan to wear hot pink shoes). I wore this dress in Vegas and the sparkle was perfect. I received so many compliments. I absolutely loved this dress and would probably buy it if given the opportunity. It is classy, yet fun and looks great on. An important thing to note is that I am generally a small-medium in dresses and the small was waaay too big. I was able to wear it, but had to tape it in places because it was just too large. Didn't get the back up size because it was my second rented dress, but definitely go a size smaller than usual in your backup size. I tried to choose a photo that showed the green color but it just didn't show up in the photos as much as in person.

Went to the Grammy Awards and wanted a fun yet formal dress and this was perfect. I am a "pear" shape so the bottom just fit and the top was a little loose, but it was ok, because the loose top works with the dress if you are small chested and I felt it was more flattering. Got tons of compliments and I will definitely rent a dress again in the future.

I loved the fit of this dress because it's loose and quite forgiving around the waist but accentuates the buttocks zone. The dress does run a bit on the larger size. I wouldn't recommend this dress if you are very petite.

I would never have rented this dress if I wasn't so lucky to try it on in the RTR Showroom. The color is amazing in person and shined super bright in the clubs I went to. It was comfortable and sexy at the same time. The only thing is that you can't really lift your right arm above your head so it kind of restricts movement while dancing. The sequins can get a little scratchy too.

I wore this dress to a black tie New Years Eve party. I got so many compliments!!! The sizing is pretty spot on. I rented an XS and a S based on the description. I ended up wearing the small, which is the size I thought would fit when I ordered it. The only issue I had, and it could just be me and my body shape, was getting the skirt up over my hips to go to the restroom. Ended up having to unzip the dress every time. But it was worth it! I felt fabulous! Thanks RTR!

I originally ordered another dress in both an XS and S for a friend's bachelorette party, since I can wear either size depending on the cut of the dress. I was notified that the XS in my original choice was unavailable, so I was able to choose another dress in any size to be shipped with my order. I'm SO glad I chose this Haute Hippie dress as the replacement! It fit perfectly and was perfect for a night on the town.

This dress made my night -- I loved the dark green sequins and got a lot of compliments. I wore the XS because the S was a little stretched, I usually wear a 2/Small. I would definitely recommend this dress to anyone!

I felt like a movie star in this dress! The second I got it in the mail, I was thrilled and couldn't wait to wear it. It did run a little bit on me, but not I don't think I could've worn a small. I am probably in between sizes. It is definitely a very flattering dress. I can't even count the number of compliments I received. I would 100% recommend this dress to someone else!

By far, one of the most beautiful dresses I've ever worn. The dress sparkles when the light hits it. I received many compliments on this dress. I wore this to a party in Las Vegas for St. Patrick's Day. It was very sparkly and fun, yet sheek and sophisticated. I usually wear a size 4 - 6, and the small fit great, the x-small was WAY too tight. Great dress!

I was so excited to wear this dress for a special date out with my boyfriend. The other reviews said it runs true to size, maybe even a little big... so I ordered the medium thinking it would fit perfect, but also got the small as a free extra size just incase. Well I was so disapointed that even the medium was too small for me! The part around the butt and legs is very small and not made for girls with butts!! I only wish there was a large available at the time for me to exchange it with :( maybe next time!

The dress is an amazing color and fit true to size. It was easy to style and a great length on someone my height (short). My only complaint would be that it was a bit heavy but have a few drinks and you forget all about that!

This dress is very fun and unique. I wore it to a Monte Carlo party and it fit the theme perfectly. The sequins obviously made it a little heavy, but definitely manageable. The one sleeve was the perfect length. This dress is amazing if you want a little bit of sparkle without looking like a disco ball.

Rented this for a girls weekend in Vegas and absolutely loved it! It's a gorgeous dark green color (photos don't do it justice).. while it was a bit heavy due to the sequins, I had no problem dancing the night away! Runs true to size. I'd order a size down for the backup size, as the top is a bit loose.

I can confidently say I was the best dresses at my high school Navy Military Ball. Although it didn't fit very well in the chest area I made due by pinning the side under my arm. I had a little problem dancing for four hours in the dress but it worked good enough. The compliments made up for it. It was an amazing night and the dress definantely lit up the room.

This is a beautiful dress and it really stood out in the sea of black dresses at the museum fundraising event I attended. I was between sizes, with the XS too tight and short in the hips, and the S too big on top (I'm 5'7", 130lbs, fit hourglass figure). I ended up wearing the small, even though the top was much looser than I would have preferred. This dress would be best if you have narrow hips and can go down a size from your usual. As always, five stars to RTR for their excellent customer service!

Very beautiful material with great color. But the dress ran too large

This dress runs extremely small. It has a side zip that I couldn't even begin to zip up on the small. Then I ordered the medium and it came and it was falling off of me.. I did end up wearing the medium because I am very large busted but it really wasn't a good fit for the rest of my body.

The dress was beautiful. If you have any junk in the trunk, this is NOT for you. I had to go to a large to get it even close. Which of course left me pulling up the sleeve all night so as i didn't flash the entire club. All in- the dress was absolutely gorgeous and worth the struggle :)

It fit kind of big- I am big in the chest and it didn't do much for my upper body. It was also a little scratchy but all in all a very comfortable dress for a party and the color and sequins really dazzle.

As a woman with hips, this was not the dress for me. I read reviews that it was flattering on figures like mine, but I didn't find that to be the case at all. The color is absolutely gorgeous and it would make a great party dress - I was so disappointed I couldn't wear it!

Have owned this brand before, other pieces ran true to size or even large. Not this. The Medium was too small. I had also ordered a backup size small :-(

I am only 5' 3" and this dress was waaaay to short to wear! I love wearing short dresses but it was crazy short!!!

I rented this dress as a backup and never wore it. I typically wear a size 8 or 10 dress. I could barely slip the size large dress over my thighs. I was very disappointed b/c it looks so fabulous on the model. If you have full hips and thighs, this dress is not for you!

This was my backup dress. The RTR rep on the phone said it runs big and that the small should fit, but it was not even close, I would say I needed it in a large. The fabric and material was so nice though. It was a beautiful dress, I wish it would have fit.

I ordered this dress in two sizes, but unfortunately, I only received one -- and it did not fit. This dress is just as gorgeous in person as it is online. I will definitely try to rent this again in the future!
