This dress is GORGEOUS in person and is extremely forgiving--you can eat as much as you want and still look amazing!I Everyone wanted to know where I got it. I did my homework before getting this dress, and read the other RTRer reviews--the torso IS a bit long if you're petite, you should plan on pinning up the halter and using lots of double-stick fashion tape to keep your boobies from peeking out. The dress came to me a bit used, and at first I was a little bummed, but you really can't tell at all once you're wearing it. You also have to be careful not to walk all over it all night, but these are small prices to pay for a fantastic gown like this one. I wanted to keep it!!

I rented this to change in to at my wedding reception and boy am I glad I did! I was a little nervous about the fit based on the reviews and to be honest there were some fit issues but I was able to make it work! It fits beautifully from the waist down it is just a little too large on top. Since I wore my hair down I was able to cinch the extra material together and I wore double stick tape to hold the front down. It was low in the back so I could not wear a bra which may be an issue for some but it was totally fine. The dress looked so gorgeous and flowed beautifully. Many guests told me it was one of the most beautiful dresses they'd ever seen! And because it is flowy and there is a slit in the front it was great for dancing. I would definitely recommend!!

I wore this to the White House Correspondent’s dinner and it was AMAZING. I got so many compliments and I felt like a princess the whole night! Some tips: Expect to wear fashion tape to secure your girls! Don’t even worry about SPANX, this dress allows you to eat all without worrying about your stomach! RTR did a fabulous job picking this one out, it is a spectacular gown and really made me a Haute Hippie groupie!

The dress fit perfectly, was very comfortable and shimmered glamorously.

This is a beautiful dress. I rented it for prom and got tons of compliments. It's slightly off gray person, but it was a pretty flattering color for me (pale with redish brown hair). The fit was a little crazy. I thought I needed the medium (I'm about 5' 3" with a athletic build, with very defined shoulders and about 125 pounds). The small was really baggy in an unflattering way and I ended up wearing the extra small, but still had to pin part of the halter up. It's hard to tell from the picture, but there's a slit that goes pretty much the whole way up, but it's not super obvious and just gives the dress more movement. The sequins on the bottom get caught on seriously everything. It was the prefect length for me to wear without heels (knee problems). The other only downside was that the beading rubbed in on the sides of my armpits and now they are pretty sore. I wore it with a silver beaded bangle and a longer diamond necklace.

What a gorgeous dress! Only the size small was available. I needed the xs, but had to make the small work. i'm 5' 2 1/2", 100 lbs. the halter was way too long and i had to pin it shorter. i also had to wear very high heels. I felt fantastic at the black tie wedding i attended in this dress and received loads of compliments. I styled it with my own long silver pendant feather necklace, diamond studs and delicate leather and bead bracelets. oh, and a beaded velvet belt from jcrew a few years back. only one issue, besides being too large; the beads are sewn onto the chiffon of the dress from hem to the top. the thread on the back of the fabric makes long loops which want to get caught and pull every step you take. they catch on your shoes and on eachother and i had to carefully seperate them several times. still, at the end of the night, i wished the dress were mine.

pretty fabric, but the drape made me look a little bit wide in the hips. Luckily this was my back-up and the Vera Wang gown I ordered was unforgettable. LOVE.

I thought this dress was so pretty once I got it all fashion taped up. I had to pin the halter at my neck so it wasn't too low and put fashion tape next to my strapless bra(front and back) to keep the dress in the right places. I used half my supply of fashion tape & all of the tape I was sent with the dress. I spent most of the evening worried my heels were going to tear a hole in the delicate silk but what was happening was my heel was getting caught in the thread that was holding the sequins on the dress.

I rented this dress for a Marine Corps Ball. I was glad I selected two dress options for the event. Although this is a beautiful dress, it was not flattering for my hourglass figure (in either size). The medium was really baggy and even with the small I would have had to pin up the halter part. It's hard to tell from the picture, but there's a slit that goes pretty much the whole way up. In the short time I had the dress on, deciding if it was the one I wanted to wear, the sequins go caught on everything and the beading rubbed in on the sides of my armpits. I can only imagine how sore they would have been had I chosen to wear this from my event.

I'm pretty small on top and this dress, I think is for a more bustier girl. Also, should come with wearing instructions as I spent at least 10 minutes trying to figure out how to put it on.
