It fit a little tight, but not uncomfortable. It was snug, so I didn't need to worry about an accident. I didn't need to wear a bra. I loved the dress, and I would wear it again!

I rented this dress for a Great Gatsby themed semi formal for my sorority, and it was a huge hit! I got tons of compliments throughout the night and it went perfectly with the theme. Although I normally range in the 2-4 or small size, I wound up wearing the extra small and it still was a little loose, but otherwise great fit. Overall great dress, loved getting to wear it!

This dress is beautiful and elegant. I love it and got so many compliments. It has a built in bra, too. It does run small so I would recommend you size up. I typically wear an XXS / 0 and the size XS was comfortably snug on me.

I loved this dress! This was my first RTR experience and I was not disappointed. Both sizes would have fit me but I went with the one that was more comfortable. It came down to just above my knee and looked great with a long strand of pearls! It was fun in the wind and the color pairs with any color of shoes

The seamlessness of the shopping, customer service, delivery and return experience made RTR a standout. So hats off to y'all and the last minute scramble when I realized I order it the dress for the wrong month! What could've been a disaster wound up going beautifully. I wore this dress in my role as a bride's maid and going by the image versus the "mocha" color description it was a home run, color-wise. Definitely more grey than brown. So if you are looking for silver or grey this is an option to consider. The structure inside the dress was really good (ex: an extra hook/function thingy just below the chest), and while the dress would serve someone with a smaller chest better…I was able to dance w/o worry the dress would expose me. I love this dress and RTR. Thank you.

This dress is beautiful. I loved the sweetheart neckline and the lace with the satin underneath. It is dressy, but not too dressy. The one difference from the picture is that the underneath layers tend to hang below the lace layers a bit.

This dress was so perfect for the prohibition era new years eve party I attended! Love it!

It looked perfect for the theme. It is very short, but so am I so it didn't look bad. Especially since the ruffles help cover up the fact that it was a mini. I usually wear a size 2 and the XS fit great. It is tight on the bust but wasn't uncomfortable and I never felt like it was going to fall down. Great Gatsby dress!

Fit just a little bit small, needed some help with the side zipper. Once on the dress was comfortable and stayed in place. There is some built in support in the bust area that also enhanced the fit and look of the dress. Looked great with the pearls I rented as well.

I wore this dress to my boyfriend's restaurant opening party. The restaurant was built in an old hat factory from the 1920's and the decor is very "Gatsby-ish" so I fit in PERFECTLY with this little number! I was complimented all night on the dress and the beautiful pearls. As for the size, the Medium fit, but it was pretty tight around my chest area (gained a little weight lol) so I went up to the large. The top was a little big, but it actually worked out fine once my strapless bra was on! I highly recommend this dress with the pearls. It was so classy, fun, comfortable and a show stopper!

A little small in the chest and upper torso area, not extremely uncomfortable though. I am usually a medium but had to wear a large do definitely order a size up!

The size I intended to wear had a broken zipper, so i pinned it for the time being and informed RTR directly. The customer service was PHENOMENAL and credited my account for a future rental. It was a wonderful experience regardless.

The dress was definitely shorter than I originally anticipated, but it still worked. There was some wire thing poking me all night unfortunately so I was definitely ready to take it off at the end of the night, but it was still cute!

I felt like it ran small and the boobs felt awkward until I found the right bra! But I got so many compliments. A little on the shorter side too.

The dress was true to size and fit snugly. There was no need for additional undergarments, as the dress had built in layers for comfort. It was a bit short for me, but beautiful! I loved it overall and would wear it again.

I wore this to my rehearsal dinner and loved it! I wish I could buy it because I would definitely wear it again. I received so many compliments on the dress from both men and women. The women wanted to know who designed it and where I bought it, so I happily told them about Rent the Runway. I thought it might be a little too dressy, but as the bride I figured I could wear what I wanted and it was perfect. I highly recommend this dress. As far as size goes, the small fit me perfectly. I wore a sticky bra underneath to give me some cleavage (I'm a B cup). I have a wider rib cage than most, and this fit just fine, so those ladies with a narrower rib cage may want to go with the XS. The length was perfect -- not too short, not too long. I bought my own pearl necklaces (similar to what another "renter" wore in one of the photos she posted) because I thought the one they offered to rent was too bulky. I thought it looked perfect.

I rented this dress for a wedding. I loved it. I had many many compliments. I am 42 years old and felt it was age appropriate.

Although i rented this dress, i didnt wear it because the fabric looked a bit too worn. I got the Small, and it fit me a little tight, but i feel if i would have gotten the medium it would have been too loose.

I wore this dress my graduation weekend, and it was perfect! It's not tight-fitting, but it's still very flattering for the legs when paired with some cute heels. I rented the pearls pictured on the model and loved them as well. Got a million compliments and it was super easy and comfortable!

This was a dress that was overnighted to me by RTR after my first choice didn't fit (GREAT service, guys!). Unfortunately this dress was also a bit too big in the bust area but I didn't realise this until I was moving around at the wedding and had to keep pulling it up. In the end a friend of mine pinned me into it and it was much better. It also looked a little worse for wear in the sense that I think it is at the end of it's rental life. That said, I got lots of compliments about it. Definitely was a great outfit, but I was surprised at the large fit in the bust given that I'm not the smallest in that area!

came in pristine condition. the dress actually had a lot of shape a showed a lot of leg. i'm only 5'2" and it was not overwhelming. nice color and lace material looks lush. i would order a size smaller since i typically wear a 2-4.

This dress is very pretty, but might not be the best choice if you are petite or curvy. Would definitely look wonderful on a tall, straight, and narrow figure. The XS was a little too tight for comfort on me, but it worked out ok as this was my backup dress and my first choice fit great!

...but it was too tight in the chest. There is a built in bra but it doesn't have any stretch material so it pushes you up - and for me, it was too much "boost" to be appropriate for a wedding. Otherwise it's gorgeous and wish I could have worn it!

I ordered a xs and S, as I have not worn a medium in who knows how long, and I ended up not trying on until too late to re-order from RTR, so I did not get to wear this to my "Gatsby" event. I had a backup plan, so it was fine, but this was cute so hate that I didn't get to wear. I did not even take the xs out of the cover, but I would say the S looks slightly like it has been worn some.... Not bad, but not super fresh either, in case you are a picky person, may not be your thing. But, definitely, if you try it, order a size UP as your backup!!! Main issue for me was the top being extremely tight. Flattened my chest and I could have worn, but would have been flattened and not comfy.

Fits pretty true to size. I'm 5'2" (on a good day!) and it was the perfect length. I weigh 106 lbs. The dress was large for me in the chest area (I'm a 32 B) and I was tugging it up alllll night- very, very annoying. The quality of the dress was good though and it was very pretty.

This dress runs VERY small. I'm quite petite and was surprised about how short it was on me! However, I think it balances out by being loose fitting. There is NO STRETCH with this dress. If you have a chest size larger than a 32b (or anything 34 or larger,) order a medium. The zipper is really hard to get up.

This was my first time using Rent the Runway and I chose this dress for a Great Gatsby themed wedding. I chose the XS and it was huge. The entire bodice was way too big. I could stick an arm or two in the top of the dress. The whole thing sat on my hips. The dress looks cute in the pictures and in person, but make sure you size down. If you're anywhere near my size, it just won't work.

Loved the fabric of this dress! The length was perfect for me (about four to five inches above my knee). However, I ultimately did not end up wearing it because it did nothing for my figure, which was odd because the slip underneath definitely hugged my body. The layers of fabric added volume, and I didn't want to walk around with my arms plastered to my body (like the model in the pic) all night.

I rented this dress for a great gatsby themed party and was not impressed. The color was not flattering on my skin tone and the fit was awkward. I didn't end up wearing the dress.

I wore this to a friend's company work party that was 1920's-themed. While this dress was precious, and not totally inappropriate, it is something I would not have worn to my own company party. It was quite short, and impossible to wear a strapless bra with (luckily it does have a built-in bra). I felt too undressed without having a shawl wrapped around my shoulders. It was also quite damaged upon receipt, although there was little I could do about this situation - I received the dress about an hour before I needed to go to the party, as the day before UPS couldn't drop it off at my house.

If you are 5'6 or taller and have a long torso, I would not suggest renting this dress. I ordered a small and an extra small. I could have wore both as a shirt with skinny jeans. The XS was way too tight and very short. The small fit fine but was still very short. I don't think a medium would have worked either. It would have been too big in the bust and still too short. I'm sure this dress looks beautiful on shorter girls (as I can see from the pictures) but it did not work for me at all. I called RTR and requested a return credit and just wore a dress I already had with the beautiful necklace I rented too.
