I have a short torso but a high natural waist, so things that fit low across my hips is my way to handle the "snow man effect." I thought this skirt had enough stretch to fit across my wider part (my lower hips) in a comfortable, chic way. Pairs well with all different types of blouses (as I tried on many before settling on white!)

I have wide hips for my size so this skirt was a tight on me, even the small. Still wearable, but I was a little worried before the night started. I typically wear 0 and XS in dresses because my top is so small, but I forgot to size up on the skirt. OOPS! It still worked and it made for a perfect night in Vegas. Love the sparkle, it looked exactly as I expected from the pictures/website. I highly recommend for a night when you need some extra sparkle!

This was my first time renting from Rent the Runway. I was a little nervous about the size. Based on the other reviews it was hard to tell if an XS would fit. The skirt arrived on time looking exactly like the photo. It was in great condition and it fit perfectly. It was shorter and more snug than what I usually wear, but it looked great. You can't ask for anything better than sparkly and sexy to celebrate a birthday!

Fit was true to size. Slight bit of stretch which made the skirt extremely comfortable in a number of different poses. Paired it with a denim shirt and Kate Spade Devi wedges. I absolutely loved this skirt and am already thinking of other occasions I can rent it for!

Loved this skirt for my bachelorette party - didn't want to send it back! It was super comfy and can dress it up or down. I'm 5'7.5" so it was a bit short on me though.

This skirt is awesome. I love the color and the length was perfect. I wore it for my bachelorette party in December and had a blast in it. I have wider hips, so I think I ended up wearing the Medium, but that's pretty typical for skirts with my body type. Would be great for the summertime, too! Would definitely rent again!

I love love love this skirt; 5'7 136lbs and the size small was the ultimate perfect fit, not too small nor too big. I wore this skirt on a vacation to Las Vegas for my 25th birthday and it was literally a showstopper. I paired the skirt with one of the newest trends the "pussy-bow blouse," it was a very elegant party-ish look.

I am slender hipped and typically wear a size 6 (28). In this skirt i wore a small. It was super fun, super cute and super sparkly. I would definitely rent it again. If you are tall like me (5'9)- it will wear shorter like a mini. But super fun for a girls night out!

The skirt was comfortable and I received a lot of compliments. Unfortunately the size I'd really needed wasn't available so I had to go with the medium and it was a little big. Other than that it's a great skirt and you can easily make it super glam or a little more subtle.

I'm glad I got two sizes, the smaller of the two was way too short, so I ended up going with the larger size, just so I could wear it a little lower on my hips. I thought it was a gorgeous skirt and I got tons of compliments. Wore it with a black crop top and black tights. Let the skirt shine!

Though this was not my favorite rental, it did grow on me and I was able to wear it twice. For being a medium, it was quite snug, and even on me it was short! But it was fun to wear for Christmas Eve and the sequins are very unique.

I typically wear a 0 so I thought an xs would fit, but it was a little tight for my liking. Over all it was a hit and everyone loved it!

This skirt is so much fun to wear! I was afraid to order the XS, since I have a bigger butt and thighs than my waist. But it worked perfect! I wore it with a loose white blouse and it looked amazing - tons of compliments and it is easy to dance in!

It is definitely on the shorter side, but snug enough that it doesn't ride up at all so you don't feel exposed. It ALMOST passed the "fingertip test," but was about a half inch short of that. :)

I own this in black, but decided to change it up for an annual party. It's gorgeous paired simply with a white tee or sweater. Beware, it is quite a bit shorter than pictured!

I wore the large since the medium wasn't avalble but really should have mediym. I loved it so much i bought it on Gilt , when they had it on sale.

I rented this as a back up option for a date and ended up falling in love with it! It's sparky but not trashy because of the cream tones. It's night time appropriate but I loved it so mug I wore it the next day to brunch with some strappy flats and a cream henley! The fit is perfect and looks amazing with tan gams!

This skirt is perfect. It fit me pretty true to size and not quite as short as the model, but I'm only 5'2". It is so classy and the sequin is beautiful. I wore it with a plum top and gold strappy kitten heels and got lots of compliments. Felt great in it and its one of my favorite rentals so far!

I have rented this skirt twice. The first for my 30th birthday, the second for my 31st birthday. I celebrated in different cities with different groups of friends, so no one was the wiser. I wish I owned this skirt, because I would wear it all the time. AMAZING!

I was given the opportunity to rent this skirt since the original size I had requested for another dress wasn't available. I really lucked out! The skirt is short, but not too short and fits nicely. The sequins add a bit of sparkle. You can either dress the skirt up or wear it casually with sandals. It can easily go from a day to night outfit. I wore the skirt to a Labor Day BBQ and received many compliments. I'd probably rent it again!

Seriously amazing. I rented this for my 30th and wore with a white men's button down shirt. They didn't have my size (Medium- I'm 5'5", 120) so I went with the small and it was snug but fantastic!! I got so many compliments and was so pleased! I recommend!

great mini, wore it for my 24th birthday with a black silk tank & black peep toes. since i am a size 4 i ordered the medium which fit for the most part, but was a bit loose in the waist.

I absolutely loved this skirt. I wore it for my birthday party and it was perfect. I ordered the XS and S and the XS fit perfect, it was fun, cute and just what I was looking for. I paired it with a black tank and blazer with black bootie heels and it was adorable.

I wore this paired with a silk ivory tank and a multi-strand gold/pearl statement necklace and got tons of compliments on my birthday. It was a teeny bit longer on me than on the leggy model, but still a mini! If you are between sizes I would definitely order down a size so that it stays on your hips!

There was a mix-up with my skirt so I never got to wear it for NYE. I did get to look at it though. It seemed like a good, strong material, but it also seemed small. I ordered a medium, with no back-up because they didn't have a large in stock. I would definitely size up as your backup order.

Like a lot of the reviewers stated, this skirt was pretty short, but I think the model photo is a fairly accurate representation, as long as you wear the right size (one size larger). I ordered both the XS and the S, and wore the S because the XS would have been too tight. The S was a little loose around the waist -- there isn't really a waistband, which I would have liked -- but otherwise fit fine. I recommend getting the size you think you would be, and the size above that, which is the one you will probably end up wearing. I wore it with an ivory blouse and nude patent heels. This skirt would be a lot of fun for a bachelorette party, birthday party, or New Year's Eve.

Rented for a bach party in Vegas and oh mama was this thing short!!! The picture is deceiving. It looks like a higher waist with plenty of length but the garment I received was WAY more scandalous. It was pretty snug as a size M too. I'm a size 6 on the bottom and if I would have rented the L I might have worn it for a little extra comfort. One thing I should mention is that I have a bubble but - which totally makes a difference from those size 6's with no rump at all but I would still say this item ran small. Nonetheless! It was perfect for Vegas. Snug, sparkly and SHORT. No complaints. It's a fun little number that's easy to pair with a simple top

Runs larger in the waist and smaller in the hips...watch out if you have a true hourglass figure!

This skirt is great. I loved being able to dress it up or down depends on what top I wore. Just a fair warning, the skirt is super short. It really shows off the legs but I liked that :)
