If you're a fan of shirt dresses, you'll love this modern revision of a classic. The cut of the dress is generous but because it's a shirt dress, you can customize the fit with the belt. The fabric has the weight and consistency of crepe but doesn't wrinkle nor does it attract lint. The pockets are well-placed and deep and lay flat. The side slots are practical and sexy but appropriate for the office. This dress is a winner.

This Hoffman Copenhagen Ina Shirtdress in size 10 is the most comfortable, easy-to-wear dress for work and it has pockets- so perfect! I didn't even steam it. The material doesn't really wrinkle so it would be great for travel & our new puppies' hair didn't stick to it! Black is so risky around dogs. The contrast piping and button panel is actually two shades- a light blush-pink and camel/cream. Definitely the oversized, slouchy look in your true size. I could've sized down to the 8, I think, even with a large chest. 5'8" 165ish pounds and about a 36DDD/E in the photos. You can cinch the belt to narrow the waist. The belt tail is super long- be careful tying and sitting down, especially in bathrooms! Now I'm stalking it in a smaller size because even too big I loved this dress.

Wore this for a work event. Great dress but could have sized to remove the bagginess

Loved this dress. I followed the recommendations from other reviewers on going down a size. It was a slightly thicker material, so maybe not ideal in summer heat. I gave a talk in this and it was a modern take for a busy work day- and I had to travel in it (this was not an issue at all)! Great rental!

Loved this. Went on a date night with a few friends and it was the perfect look. White heels and tan heels definitely elevated this look. Ran big but the belt helped that. I’d say sizing up or down in your normal size would still work.

Gorgeous design. Very nicely made. Other people complained about the belt but I thought that was super cool - I liked that it was so long and it made the dress edgy vs. normal shirt dress. Pockets are a plus but i didn’t. Use them much.

I love that this dress has pockets that do not add bulk to the hips! The adjustable waist and belt are perfect for creating that cinched in waist! I also love the flowy arm sleeves!

Got this in an attempt to ease the transition from wfh to office life and it was exactly what I wanted it to be (basically pjs) (but fashion). Felt like I got away with wearing a robe to work. Definitely size down! If I got my regular (2) I think I would have been swimming in it.

Comes with a belt but the belt is a little hard to figure out without having a long extra piece hanging. Beautiful details in the dress, and I loved the longer length. This was a great one for work and going out after work.

This was kind of a basic dress with a few fun details that was good for work. I love how you can cinch the belt in as tight as you want, and the top is super blousy while the skirt is not tight but a bit slimmer. It's flattering and comfortable, but thw downside of the shape and belt design is that on my height at least, thw pockets end up cinched in the belt.

Comfortable dress, unique and fashionable if styled well. I wore with knee high slouch boots, worked well with the slits on the side. Tied the belt instead of looping

Very heavy terry cloth-like fabric, not flattering in photos but cuter in person. Has no form and the belt doesn't really help that. My husband thought it was a new bathrobe, was surprised I told him no it's in fact a dress lol.

This dress has dusty rose accents that really modernize this dress. Without it, it might be a little frumpy. The belt is worn very long but is a nice detail. However, be sure to pick it up when you visit the ladies room. I got several compliments all day -- from business meetings to cocktails later.

I am a size 8/10 and the 42 was large on me.

Might run a bit on the big side so if you are between sizes you could go down. Great everyday work dress.

Runs big so definitely size down one. The black, pink and beige are very sophisticated. But even with the belt, the dress isn't super flattering. It was good for one wear. Note that it runs quite long.

As a shorter person, this dress felt like it drowned me. I ordered up to be sure it would fit and that was a mistake. The belt helped give the waist shape but the sleeves/shoulders were still very long and wide. I would order it again, just a size or two smaller

The color of the beige accents was pretty blah. This dress looked okay, but it wasn’t great. Biggest plus was that it is a great length for work.

I SWAM in the this dress. It was huge. The belt helped make the waist for defined but it could only do so much. I'm absolutely obsessed with the dress and would have loved it on me if it were smaller. I'd consider renting again but at least 2 sizes down from what I ordered last.

I thought this might be an interesting dress despite reviews that it looked like a sack. Welp it looked like a sack on me too. The 36 fit perfectly, I typically wear a 4.
