I'm an LBD fanatic. I tend to always wear black. And it can get a bit boring. But this dress is exceptional. It's forgiving and flattering, chic and stunning. It's one of my favorite RTR rentals to date. It is a bit snug through the hips, so I would recommend going up a size if you're hippy. I wore it for a holiday charity event and it was perfect.

At the last minute, the size six was unavailable. So I wore the 4 and felt really good in it surprisingly!:) it was a little hard to zip up but I didn't look stuffed into it once it was on. :) Still, I think the 6 would have been perfect! Lived the asymmetry and the length! Loved everything!

I rented this dress for a night out in Vegas and it was wonderful. I'm a Helmut Lang fan and knew that they ran small (I generally wear a large 8). It fit PERFECTLY. Maybe just a bit tight because I was pulling it down through the night, but nothing major. I loved the asymmetrical hemline, which made it a little sexier because the neckline is pretty high. I'm tall 5'11" and it hit for me right like the model. Definitely not for someone who is busty. Loved the shoulder details.

Helmut Lang hits the right spot for me. Conservatively edgy. The dress fit perfectly, but because it wasn't as stretchy as some other helmut lang dresses I've worn, the top was a tad roomy as it draped over my waist. Though, this is a miniscule criticism. I wore this on a warm evening in Chicago summer. Had I known how thick and warm the material would be, I might have saved this dress for a fall or winter occasion. Great fit, great length.

I liked this dress alot, it fit true to size and lots of people liked the metal spikes on the shoulders. It's perfectly form fitting and great for the butt! In hind sight I should have worn my hair up for the night to show off the metal fringe, but I just pulled my hair to one side. The material is heavy though. Overall it was great for what I wanted, which was something that is sexier, but not over the top.

Great dress super comfortable but it was a little worn. I was glad i was not going to be at a well lit party. It looks great with a pare of really high heals that show off the lines! shoulders are narrow.

This is a relatively narrow fitting dress, but as a girl without any waist definition, it definitely gave me one. The asymmetrical neckline is great, and the details on the side are just cool.

the best part were the shoulders. i got a lot of compliments on it.

Sometimes it is hard to dress up for the winter parties, what with the cold dreary weather, but this dress is made of a heavier fabric that drapes perfectly. I was warm and comfortable all night. The length was perfect and I loved the spikey detail on the shoulders. Usually I wear a 4, but the 4 was a little tight in the chest, so I moved up to the 6 and it was perfect! I highly recommend this dress!! I had compliments all night!

This was a great simple style with a little flair! I loved the embellishment on the shoulders and the asymmetrical hemline...it ran a little narrow in the hips for me but was comfortable!

Fit was too small. Recommend a size up. Did not end up wearing for my event.

I did not wear it. The fabric made this dress seem businesslike, it fit fine but I bought with the spikes on the shoulders it would look youthful but It was too conservative.

I ended up not wearing this dress because it was steamed in an odd way. The gathered side was pressed in a way that it jotted out and made me look like I had a huge stomach, even though I really dont have one.. The dress also looked a little worn. Not for pear shaped bodies.
